Balinese sanctuary sums up Puri Oka. Both visits to this quiet relaxing retreat has been a wonderful experience for members of my family and I. We have loved being right on the water, beautiful gardens, great food and very friendly staff. We will definitely return.

Spent many wonderful hours watching sunset while dining here in the past. Today had a great meal, enjoyed the lovely staff and watched the local boats bobbing in the ocean.

This is fantastic motel. The staff are so friendly. The rooms are neat and tidy. Sit by the ocean and enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Location The first standard room resembled a barn-dilapidated and tilted furniture, dirt on the fan and switch, an old rusty sink and faucet, no window windows, building debris in the bathroom. On request the room was replaced by a slightly better one (pictured). The second race gave something average between the first two options. The staff in the restaurant is slow. Breakfast was good.

Puri Oka enjoys a Beautiful water front location in Candidasa it has nice large rooms. This resort is clean and well managed by friendly staff. Daily excursions from Puri Oka were negotiated for me by the manager (Yoga) at half the cost of other local sources at considerable savings especially when booking the fast cat to the Gili islands and Lombok.
All 5 of my friends staying in Puri Oka and Elephant house on Gili air who travelled with me are planning a revisit. Located in Candidasa, Puri Oka brings back memories for me of the way Bali used to be in the 70's.

The best hotel in Candidasa, quietly located, with pool, rooms in all price ranges, the kitchen is excellent, the staff above average helpful and friendly, we felt very comfortable!

The only place to stay in Bali right on the ocean great food great rates and great staff the only place to stay for a relaxing break.

We're spending our honeymoon here and I cannot get over how perfect everything is! The rooms are beautiful & very clean, the food is exquisite and the staff are extremely helpful and always on hand! We have already booked to come back here with our friends next year!

Had the most wonderful stay in 2012. Very hospitable and although rooms are not five star, they are air conditioed and very comfortable. I paid$25 Aus per night and booked on spec. Time the tide for a very good beach to appear, and like all Balinese stays, the staff are happy to hook you up with activities. My favourite was a massage therapist further up the road, absolutely fantaatic and legit. Bali has done will to rid itself of the dodgey massages and give fully professional massage experience.
