We had many fun years staying at The Sari Beach Hotel is currently undergoing renovations with date given as to when it will be finished.
Some rooms are still available.
We were happy to see some of the old staff but some, Made & Mooky had started new positions at Villa Coco and looked very happy there. Martin is Now a Driver.

We were looking to stay in an authentic bali hotel / resort on the beach. We wanted basic necessities and the normal bali relaxing experience. The location was fantastic and thankfully the bars / atmosphere on the beach accross the road saved us. Great kitchen staff for breakfast and the food was decent, lack of english was a problem at times with all other staff throughout although polite. Pool bar non functioning Main bar only bintang and soft drink if available No mixers or cocktails of any description or staff on duty there. Rooms were ok, very tired but we had to move rooms on day 2 as we had no hot water. Atleast our new room had water as some didn't have any at times. No compensation was given although we were offered a free lunch for the inconvenience it was refused at the time and we had to pay for it in the end. All towels were in poor condition and should of been donated as cleaning cloths. The grounds were relaxing although most water features weren't working and needed the same tlc as the pool. I definitely would not stay there with children as some of the fixtures in the rooms are an accident waiting to happen. Glad we had great friends with us as that got us through. This was my 6th trip to bali and I will go back again but definitely think about next door for $10 extra a night. Very Basic, Take your own everything and if you can fit anything in your little fridge take your own drinks or cocktail mix.

Dekat dengan pantai. Staf yang ramah. Terdapat taman hiau yang asri dan kolam renang disana. Tempat yang cocok untuk berlibur, santai dan tenang dari keramaian.

Make are Reservation, It's good place, with the beautyfull view. And good staff.

Shouldn’t be open… dirty, old, no staff, restaurant closed at 2pm in the day. Hot water stopped, fixtures grotty and deteriorating. And the pool just needed a good clean! What we saw on trip advisor was certainly not what greeted us… now trying to get money back. ********* Photos in comments.

Fantastic place with friendly staff who are always happy. The rooms are clean and tidy. Gardens are a credit to the place as well … highly recommended. Straight over the road to the beach too. What more would you want. Will definitely stay again.

I seriously don't normally write bad reviews but this time I was compelled to do so. My husband and I booked for 5 nights but had no choice but to transfer to Bali Garden Beach Resort (which was awesome) after the first night. 1. The rooms at your hotel for the price point are extremely worn and tired. 2. When a hotel guest sends back towels that are dirty and are then sent more dirty towels with holes and black numbers written in marker on them, there is something seriously …wrong in house keeping. 3. You have a serious problem with a sewerage smell after flushing the toilets (while I have experienced this in many hotels in Bali and it's a difficult problem to fix I have never had it as bad as this before) Also the solution of sending house keeping in to spray over the top of the smell with a can of perfume was almost laughable and left us unable to even stay in the room. 4. Inadequate aircon and no hot water thus difficult to shower. 5. When requesting a taxi, being told by reception 'Sorry no driver available' was also ridiculous. A guest should not have to present options to the reception. Unfriendly from the time we checked in. Basically the place is very old and falling apart with a serious lack of maintenance and improvements. You guys have serious work to do on both service and are desperately in need of new towels, and also need to hire a full time maintenance staffer until your property is up to scratch.

We stayed here for one night on arrival in Bali recently and I must say it was so lovely and had the best bed ever. We went there 6 years ago after stumbling upon. On a really hot day. We walked in. And asked if we bought a beer could we have a swim in the pool? Yes no problem… Thats when we decided if we returned to bali wed stay here for sure. The property is a little old but very bali style. Beautiful gardens. Spottles rooms. Lovely staff. So on our recent 1 night stay we left to tour the island… We already had booked a week at melasti later on which we did but the whole time we wished we had booked here. As it was the volcano disruppted our flights and the melasti were not helpful with extending our stay so off I went next door to the sari… They gave us a great room at 50% off! And it was soooo good to be back there… Thanks to all the staff who looked after quite a few aussies in the same situation. We will be back… Highly recommended to all.

Wonderful surprise finding the Sari Beach Hotel and loved this Balinese style resort. We originally booked for 7 nights as we intended to travel and stay at other resorts but after the second day we decided to stay the 15 days here.
The Staff are like family and went above and beyond to ensure our holiday was perfect. Yes, it is a little tired but clean and the best bed I have slept in in the 26 times I have been to Bali. The pool was so refreshing and well maintained and we loved the gardens and Balinese style. The smiles and greetings every day from Housekeeping, Kitchen, Garden and Management was Fantastic. Our little group had the most relaxing holiday and the location was perfect with the beach and Wayan and Anna’s Beach Bar a few steps away. A short stroll to our favourite restaurants along the beach front nearby.
Thankyou Sari Beach and staff for the most relaxing and enjoyable holiday we have ever had, we will be back, see you all next year.

Great location. Beautiful gardens and quiet. Rooms are a bit run down. But that's fine by me.

I loved this Balinese style bungalows accomodation. Fantastic location with some great restaurants nearby.

Probly THE best value for money hotel in the world!

Lovely and quiet spot, not far from the messy Kuta Beach. Awesome garden but rooms are a little run down.

Decent hotel with beautiful grounds. The room was acceptable. Washroom was in quite a state of disrepair but still operational and clean. Running hot water, good ac. Backs onto a nice quite part of Kuta beach. Close to all the fun.
