Waiting in the lobby right now for one hour, to meet the GM. Wrong rooms allocated to us and very uncooperative service. This is after paying upfront and booking almost 45 days ago.

It is an amazing hotel. Among the numerous top class five star hotels of Goa, who have good property, good amenities, good food and good hospitality, lalit resort stands out with huge property (and very picturesque), and excellent hospitality with good service due to excellent training and local culture of friendliness. In addition to the warm hospitality and politeness, the staff anticipates what you require and provide for it in anticipation, staff members named kushagra and oswin are a great example of the marvellous staff service. Kushagra helped us to celebrate my birthday so beautifully. It was an outstanding stay.

The property is expansive and very close to a part of a pristine beach. Staff is courteous and would greet you with a smile whenever they see you. There were some delays with the luggage both during the time of check in and checkout and the security team hassled us when our friends tried to take pictures with high quality professional grade cameras. Breakfast was mediocre though their muffins were great. Pool area is good and golf course lush green. Overall, a good stay but could have been made better.

One and half hour drive from Goa Airport. The approach is through lush green countryside and virgin mountains with very smooth well maintained roads (even in monsoons) which is commendable. Arrival by helicopter is also possible as there is a helipad. The property is equally inviting with a very large pool and a very well maintained 9 hole Golf Course. If you travel all this distance it is only for the location, and it's totally worth it. It is a beautiful clean beach of nearly a kilometre and all throughout the property you can reach from one end to another through rented bicycles. You need to set aside at least four days to enjoy this property alone. Rooms are very large Food is good, MAP plan is a good idea. All staff is very cooperative and forthcoming, Shashwati at the restaurant deserves a special mention.

Goa cancelled part of our reservations that was done couple of months in advance stating they have maintenance lined up on Aug 17th — 19th. They notified it through a mail — no message, no courtesy calls. And after we called them, even after stating they would look in to the matter, there has been no response despite repeated follow ups. This is how they treat their Lalit Loyalty Members. So much for Customer Loyalty & Empathy.

One of the best resorts in Goa. Located 2 hours from the airport, its a serene and beautiful place. Good facilities, neat and uncrowded beach. Really fantastic staff. Limited options to go around, as very few tourist places nearby. This resort is meant to be only for relaxation and having a much needed family time, without venturing to see the oft crowded tourist spots in Goa. The icing on the cake is the huge swimming pool. Food is average plus and expensive, but a adequate buffet spread. The golf course is 9 holes and well maintained. Definitely recommend as a hidden jewel amongst the various 5 star properties in Goa. Go to relax and rejuvenate. Go with your loved ones and get pampered, but be ready to loosen your purse strings to experience the Lalit Goa.

Beautiful place. We had peaceful stay there… Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Check-in & check-out process was smooth… Loved the swimming pool… Well maintained one… Beach is awesome & just 5 min away. Hotel staff is very friendly… Great service… breakfast served was full of variety of food and fruits… Amazing experience…

Rooms and atmosphere were very nice. Very spacious rooms, including bathroom. Powerful AC and large communal pool. 5 min walk to beach with services offered at beach. Service however was poor. Staff continually forgot requests both for housekeeping and the restaurant. Room was cleaned properly and on time however. Note: Hotel is 90 min drive from Goa airport. Be prepared.

One star less… Because it is too far away from all the usual haunts in Goa. The property is one of the best. The pool is amazing. Beach is good. Food is good. The staff is respectful, helpful and resourceful.

Beautiful property right next to the beach. Courteous staff, special care for kids and good spread of food. They were pretty quick in allocating a different room to us as some renovation work was going on. Special shout out for Shreyansh at front desk team.

Ideal place to spend your vacation. The property is neat with lots of activities inside. The Breakfast spread was awesome. The Rooms are extremely spacious. Even the room service was pretty good. Loved the place.

One of the beautiful hotel and resorts at Goa, we used this for our annual meeting and customer interaction session. Beautiful beaches and sacks. Food quality is exemplary. Any corporate which needs to plan can think of this place. Please take note that this is one of the best place for family vacation also. If you want to enjoy Goa, this is one you can choose off.

One of the best five star hotels. The Rooms are really spacious and good. Service is also very good. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The food was also very good. The hotel is made over a very big area and you enjoy going around the hotel. There is swimming pool. You can also go the the beach. All in all a very good experience.

The hotel for Goa is great. We were very pleased. With food for the dislike of red pepper strain. The rest is fine!

Great resort for family time and relaxation Pros: Huge resort area of approx. 85 acres. Rooms are specious, neatly maintained and clean. Bathroom had a bath tub. Staff is courteous and professional. Private and secluded beach attached to the resort. Morning complimentary breakfast was delicious and had a variety of items. Cons: Valet parking not available. Open parking was not covered. My car was full covered with bird dropping.

Nice place. Nice location, Good and friendly staff. Spacious Rooms. Only drawback are the Crows, Hundreds of them around the Resort. I've stayed in other resorts near the beach and never saw so many Crows around. Next the TV. You are on a Holiday guys forget TV Chill on the beach. Not much Channels and in the room we stayed there was a big Panasonic TV. In which Channels were minimal and many we're not Clear. We only used to have breakfast in the hotel and we had a lot of options (A LOT). Over all Good Experience.

The best resort in Goa. One of the best place to stay and chill over there. Has its own beach and waters rides too And what the front office, it was well managed and the way to welcome the guests was just adorable The staff members were all well educated and provided the best service I have ever experienced in any other hotels and resorts. Overall a good experience there.

By European standards It is certainly not 5 *, but for India it is a very high level hotel. Decent breakfast with a good selection of both local dishes and more habitual Europeans. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu prices in the restaurants are very high, but there are options for buffets.
Nice big pool and great almost private beach. Gorgeous sand. The entrance to the sea is just great. The beach does not really have a lot of sunbeds, but everyone usually had enough.
The rooms are a bit old but everything works and a very good air conditioning system allowing sleeping with air conditioning included. Insects and other animals were not noticed.
The only problem of the hotel is the birds. There are a lot of them and they create quite a lot of "rubbish", and the local mentality does not contribute to cleaning everything and the same second.

Great property. Away from the hustle bustle of North Goa, this is a perfect place to find peace and tranquility in the lap of nature. Its huge, well maintained, close to nature. A 5 star rating for the ambience, rooms and food. The people working there are very friendly. Overall experience was very good.

The best resort in Goa. From the time of arrival till the time of departure, Everything was excellent whether it was our check in experience, buffet breakfast at the restaurant, housekeeping service. Staff are fabulous and always at their toe to provide a wonderful service. I definitely recommend this place to everyone. Kudos to the front office team for taking caring of us so well and giving us a very homely feeling. Thanks to the entire staff for giving us a memorable experience.

Nice hotel. The big green territory of Quay is well-groomed. A huge five plus RUSKOGOVORJASHEMU representative of the hotel Rostonu who will devote and solve all questions to help Russian tourists. A special thank you to the staff of the hotel restaurant who will not leave without attention of any tourist during breakfast.

The hotel is nice especially if you are going to relax rather than look for flaws. The rooms and service are fine, the breakfasts are mainly geared towards the citizens of India i. E. The national flavor. The hotel's weak point is the pool. It is in the semi ruined, neglected state (it is enough to swim in the goggles for swimming and see the deplorable state of the bottom and green raid on the bottom). Its main (pool) hosts are crows who bathe and Stoke. The staff only imitates fighting them. Sunbeds on the sea beach deficit. The rest is a solid four.

It is a fancy property to stay in South Goa. It has a private beach with the facility of water sports as well. U can even get a nice massage done on the beach and enjoy the sun and the beach view. Room sizes are really spacious and airy. The staff is very warm but services were little slow. Location wise it is really good since it is very close to Palolem beach. So u can experience peace, natural beauty and party hard at the same place. Everything was really good but the breakfast spread definitely needs to improve. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay in Goa!

This resort has big room which was very good. Staff are friendly and hospitable. The beach hut food is less that expectation. Being the 5 star property one expect the seafood product to be of high quality but it turns out a bit disappointed. Golf course was average built with some constraints which was understandable. Few holes bear the beach was awesome. Should have clear signage to indicate the holes or you will be rounding around asking. Overall a great place and good experience.

Why are there so few sun loungers by the sea? It's not clear. But rescue fruit traders, if you buy fruit, beer and massage, they provide a place on their home-made lounge chairs. And by in the ebb if to go to the right (if to face to the sea) in 10 minutes it is possible to go to the next beach which is very busy and there are many cafes, and if to pass another 25 minutes, it is possible to get on the famous beach Palolem.

Perfect place for a holiday.

Had a great stay at Lalit. A few things that can be made better is the kids zone. You should have more activities charge free. The room service and the responsiveness can be improved. They are doing well it can be made better… The maintenance of the pool should be looked at. Found it to be dirty (kids potty) … Overall great experience. You definitely have a great staff here. As many other reviewers mention, it's a large resort with a nice beach and aging but still reasonable infrastructure. However, staff training still remains to be a shortcoming. Among other minor issues, one stood out particularly. I used the hotel's concierge service to book tickets for my onward travel because I had to pay cash. The two teenager fellows helping at the counter were friendly, but they booked my tickets for the wrong day. When I realised this on the day of my actual travel, luckily before I left the resort, I was able to get new tickets, paying more than the original price this time and with no cancellation for the original tickets. So the tickets I needed ended up costing me more than twice what they were supposed to be, I got worst seats etc. Mistakes happen and I'm generally OK with it. What really bothered me was that when I complained about the situation, the two employees who made the mistake were summoned and asked to pay for my ticket out of their own pocket. This is a resort that charges European prices in India, and making quite some money off the back off their local employees, who are (I'm fairly sure) paid local wages, with minimal investment into their training. The folks that made the mistake seemed clearly distressed and were relieved when I refused to take their money. All in all I ended up carrying the extra cost of the hotel's mistake as an institution. If they charge the prices they do, I think they must also adopt some associated values.

High-end, but expensive! Very expensive buffet meal (30 €/person) for mediocre quality.

The hotel resort is built about 21 years ago having 255 luxurious rooms & 10 villas spread over about 85 acres. Beautiful location with a serene private beach and a spanning golf course with ample greenery. The beach is clean compared to other commercial beaches in Goa. The rooms a large & spacious in the resort & give a feel of old huge villas during English era but they have all the modern luxuries needed. The service staff and the staff at the in-house Canacona restaurant is hospitable and extremely friendly.

Worth staying not less than 5 days. A lot to offer. Private beach. Indoor outdoor and water sports… Good breakfast… But for dinner go somewhere else ;)

Nice hotel. The rooms are very spacious, the air conditioning works as needed. The beach is not overloaded, there are fruit traders, you can ask to make fresh juice (only 100-150 rupees).
It is inconvenient that the prices of the hotel everywhere (restaurants, golf, etc. ) are indicated without taxes-it is necessary to add about one third. The price of the meal in the hotel restaurant is about 1000 rupees. Outside the hotel for about the same 250 rupees.
The hotel is a popular place for various events: conferences, weddings. Passes something almost every day. In general, the guests do not interfere, although in our case at the wedding were noisy guests, who at 2-3 o'clock in the morning went to and fro and spoke very loudly. The room was very clean.
The hotel grounds are large enough and well maintained.
By taxi you can drive to the beach Palolem, where there is even some life) the hotel is suitable for lazy rest in silence, young and active here will rather be bored.

Awesome hotel… close to nature The room was big and the balcony was amazing, facing the sea. The whole "park" was so green and well maintained. The pool was never too crowded and really pretty. Staff was helpful and nice. Everything was clean and the breakfast offered a lot of different choices. The beach was right when you crossed the park and it was calm and clean.

All you can think of! Great service, rooms and staff. There is a Golf course as well. Lovely clean beach maintained by the Hotel. A beach shack. Local massagers and fruit juice stalls on the beach if you do not wish to spend a hefty price in the Hotel.

It is a great place to relax. The resort is vast, accommodates a golf course which makes it greener. You get access to a private beach and a beautiful pool. The staff is very courteous and accommodating. Rooms are big, with pretty high ceilings and are well maintained. You have great eating options within the resort at reasonable costs. We particularly liked the one by the beach. I traveled with my family who unanimously want to return.

Good spacious rooms. Walkways get very wet and slippery during rains so you need to be careful while walking. Decent food. Good spa.

Awesome place to be in South Goa if all you want to do is relax and have a beach in your backyard. Like literally. The best part was having the beach at walking distance. You can go there whenever you want. The food is awesome. Though we tried only the complementary breakfast. The variety was superb. I was hung up on their grilled zucchini. And my son loves the hash browns. Great service too.

Food quality is very good. I am very happy… come back soon.

I had stayed your resort it was nice and beautiful property my family enjoyed our stay we learned salsa class. And they have lits of activity.

Must visit beautiful resort. I will enjoy visiting this resort again and again. It has a very large property. Very good swimming pool. Food is excellent. Lavish breakfast. Rooms are big and clean. It is far away from airport. It takes 2 hour to reach resort from air port. Property don't provide free pickup. Hence it costs approximately Rs. 2500 to Rs3000 to reach resort. Staff is very courteous and service is Good.

The property is lovely and sprawling. The food in my opinion was below average. The staff is just about average. The beach is walking distance and has a nice shack. The greenery is amazing however service wise — didn't enjoy it as much.

Excellent hotel. Staff is everywhere and ready to help you with whatever you need. Add to that their friendliness and you get a great experience. King-bed bedroom is very spacious and comes along with a huge bathroom. Sirocco restaurant on first floor has a great ambiance & the food is also great.

Serene place. Polite staff and lot of variety in breakfast. I especially like the pool area, sport area and the surroundings. Cart has been provided to roam around the property. I stayed there with family for 2 nights and it was awesome experience.

We were quite surprised with Lalit. We read reviews and just thought; hey we have a place to rest our heads since we booked so late. The rooms are very clean. Ronex did an excellent job making sure the sand we tracked into the room was gone and refilled out supplies each day. The linens were always fresh and so neatly arranged. Our only qualm is that the hotel does not have good bath salts, it may seem small to some but to my husband and I it was a bit of a pain. With that said, you'll love the Caribbean Ginger bar soap they have for you and the bed… oh the magical, wonderful bed! Best nights rest in a very long time. The service received in their dining hall, Chander, was great. Tony took care of us each day. Tony always had a smile and a joke for us in the morning. He suggested some places to visit while we were there. He attended to us well and knew to bring us some water even when we didn't even know we needed it. His hospitality was more than enough. We will visit again in the future. This place is perfect for couples and families.

The way it should be! everything was perfect, the staff is just great, the food is amazing and the hotel is very nice and clean. Every room tastefully decorated. The beach is the best in Goa, white sands a hill on one end a river on another. They have great water sports jet ski, kayaks, bikes for rent. Everything in good condition.  Good value for money thank you for making our holidays just perfect!

Great hotel. Rested here. There is one manager speaking Russian. Everyone else speaks English only. Food and stuff is very expensive. But if the hotel has a wonderful café USSR. That's where they ate. More precisely dinner. The beach with sunbeds is not local. The beach is wonderful. Clean and with a smooth entrance to the ocean. The rooms are great. There are no such night discos at the hotel. They're on the beach, so they won't hurt you.

One of the best five star hotels in Goa with in-house spa and golf course is right on the serene beach.

Vast hotel mainly rented out for weddings or celebrations. When you are there, it's mostly vacant, and feel like you have the place to your self. It is full of the comforts that are unnecessary, but practical, like hot water.

Great hospitality. The beach is a 5 minute walk. The elevators were not working because of which older guests from our group living on higher floors had problems.

Really really amazing. The property is lush with lots of activities. Golfing in the morning is heavenly with a drink to keep you company. The staff is very friendly too, and takes good care of you. Lalit is a nationally recognized brand but this property just takes it to another level. If you're wanting to take a break from the numerous beach shacks in Palolem and Patnem, this is the place to head to. You will not be disappointed.

BEST Property in South Goa. 85 Acres of well maintained awesome. ONLY go here if you want to relax, and unwind. Not too many avenues to party hard. The beach is basically for the hotel guests only, the shack restaurant at the beach is awesome we ate there pretty much every day spending hours. The pool area is huge and very well managed, the food offering on the pool side can be improved. there is Golf, Tennis, Snooker, watersports, dolphin trips etc. Try the Pizza place just outside the door. Must name a few people who made our stay memorable and ensured we will come again. Sudhir, Atul (Corta's), Atul (Poolside), Vivek Dessai (Trainer at the Gym). These guys really went above and beyond to do things they didn't have to.

Great hotel located right on the Rajbagh Beach. It's quite far from the Goa airport, but the distance helps keep flocks of tourists away. The Lalit Golf & Spa Resort has tons of amenities, including a gym, spa, golf course, driving range, and even a squash court! If you're looking for a peaceful retreat, look no further!

Superiar luxery and amazing food.

One of the best and most splendid resorts in Goa… Lalit is good if you want to have a bucolic vacation.

I love the lalit golf & spa.

I was planning to stay here with my girlfriend for 2 weeks but before I was planning to book everything, we stayed for one day at the phool to look if we want to stay here for a longer time and spend that money here. Iam verry happy we checked this before! the swimmingpool was not clean. Dirty walls etc. And not happy faces around from the working people. They pushed like 4 times the menucard in our face. Then we orderd a drink with some food. The prices where really high on the menu, but okay its a 5 stars so you can expect this. We orderd 1 Juice, one small kingfisher beer and 2 breads. On the menu it was all together around 1600 rp. But then we get the food… My God. Even the macdonalds is much better! what a crap. Verry cheap dry supermarket bread, chemical factory cheese, 3 french frites and a burger haha well I dont say nothing about that. That was even worser. And you can call this a 5 star resort? I stay for 6months in India and this was the baddest food all times! then we wanted to go away and pay the 1600roepies for that cheap shit. Well okay, the Juice and the beer was good! compliments for that. After that they give us a bilt of 2200rp!? And why? They dont put the tax on the menu and it was even not noticed on the menucard. So a half day was enough to get an impression how they make easy money and suck people them wallet empty. Its not a problem at all for me to pay more money for a good resort, but this was totally out of balance!

Lalit Golf and Spa Resort is five star in real sense. We had gone to celebrate our wedding anniversary it was out of this world experince. All the staff were very caring. Food was amazing. All the services were excellent. Our stay was so comfortable that we forgot the external world and our HOME too. Must visit to all who are planning to choose a five star Resort. Hurrah! Highly recommend this hotel. Madly liked the service, despite a small vocabulary. Has everything you need for rest. The beach is clean and quiet. Of course, not very conveniently located from markets and other beaches around 3 km away, but we rented a scooter and everything was tip-top:) Restaurants even served for us mild sauce food, especially for the русских. Шикарный hotel!
