Clean, good hospitality and helpful staff.

Rooms were clean and relatively well furnished. Strange that there were no international TV channels. The breakfast was very basic but fine and the on site restaurant was good for dinner. Staff members were reasonably polite. The location was not great for central Kolkata, though the Jatin Das Park Metro was only 5 minutes away.

It's a nice hotel. The rooms are pretty good and nice. They are cozy. A little bit expensive compared to other hotels but it's okay. There is a purely authentic bengali restaurant at the ground floor of the the hotel, name is Ghore Baire (ঘরে বাইরে). The food is awesome but the price is too much compared to other authentic bengali restaurants.

Rooms are fine, but needs a lot of improvement in customer service…

This is a small but a nice cozy hotel. Especially the rooms facing the road. There's a restaurant within the hotel. But no bar (shouldn't be an issue coz liquor vend is just 2 mins walking) The complementary breakfast cab be improved. But I guess that's a common issue with all Treebo hotels. Overall this hotel offers a great stay at pretty reasonable rates. Tram and metro are within walking distance.

It is very nice hotel But room service is slow.

The Hotel situated at the beginning of Harish Mukherjee Road at Kalighat end opposite Sangam Beauty Parlour and they have free Wi-Fi. Location is very good with nearby Metro rail, buses and taxi services available from Hazra More crossing nearby. Famous Kalighat Kali Temple is well within walkable distance (8-10 min). One "Ghare Baire" Restaurant is attached in the ground floor. Room service is good but rooms and toilets must be more neat and clean. Television set and kettle in the room. There is a 24-hour front desk. Comparing the quality of complimentary breakfast, room rent is on higher side. Overall, it's good choice and certainly a family hotel.

Overall the room was comfortable. It was close to a metro stop, 30 minutes walking to Victoria Memorial, and several small shops and restaurants nearby. Wifi only worked in half the room (the part by the window must have been too far from the router? ). The biggest problem was the staff. Despite having a do not disturb sign up, they called our room numerous times to ask if we wanted housekeeping. They also called us at 9 am another day to see when we were checking out. Other reviewers had mentioned this, and it's frustrating that they are not taking this feedback.
