Excellent hotel to stay in salem…

Stayed there 29-30 Dec 2019. Terrible experience. What a great fall from what it used to be a few years ago. On almost every count they failed. Right from the check in to the provision of the extra bed that had already been paid for. The coffee shop and the catering there is the worst. And to top it all, even after personally giving feedback to the General Manager, Mr. Cherian, service levels were pathetic. Being polite alone isn't enough, in the hospitality industry. The first thing that's needed is service and good quality. Else, being polite is just lip service. And with all this, one person in the restaurant stood out both in efficiency and being a breath of fresh air in an otherwise somber and depressing atmosphere — Sunitha, the lady with a pleasant countenance and a great attitude. Aside, a couple of the live counter chefs were good and service oriented. Everyone else, starting with the General Manager, paid lip service without any sincerity at all. Overall, this stay at Grand Estancia is eminently forgettable and I'm unlikely to every visit there again.

Stayed for a night with family. Worth the price. Pretty decent property. Check in and check out takes its own time and if you are planning to catch a flight or an appointment, ensure you keep at least 30 minuets for these formalities. Front desk is quite sluggish.

This place is easily noticeable from the main road. The hospitality of the people is good. The food was available 24hrs. The lobby and corridors are clean. Rooms are well maintained and pleasant. The washroom is clean. But the water was not hot enough. Though enough for warm weather outside.

Am unbelievable experience in a city like Salem… Give star hotel category buffet breakfast and dinner… Very wide choice… Having a coffee shop open 24 hours in 3 tier city like Salem… And economically priced… Wonderful experience… Spacious rooms, and with a good shower… At this price possible only in any south East Asian country.

Fell in love with the place. Spacious rooms. Amazingly courteous staff. Tasty food. On the Bangalore highway. Clean pool. Specially loved the serving of water to rooms in glass bottles reducing the usage of plastic bottles and charging a bomb for them. I hope other hotels also follow this concept…

Worst Experience Ever. Pathetic service by staff. I will never come here again. ** The Room Keys don't work. Funny thing is, they know it doesn't work but didn't let us know. We were waiting at the door trying to unlock for 30 minutes; later they say it doesn't work. *** The AC in room goes off without knowledge at night. We were suffocating. Feeling breathless. *** There's someone knocking the Door and disterbing sleep early morning. The staff was knocking the door like mad to check if we needed water bottle.

Very professional hotel, warm and friendly reception. The in house bar and restaurant were both adequate though unable to offer their full menus. The rooms were huge even on western standards and fully equipped. Would stay again but probably would eat in town.

Excellent experience! The rooms are very neat and the service provided was excellent Since we were fasting, we required food at 4 am and they provided us with very delicious food at such early hours and on time. We were very impressed The food at the hotel is also great. Overall we loved the place.

I stayed previously. The service and everything was good. Now this time, without booking in Make my trip we booked through direct phone and went there. The response and the service provided by them was very bad. We took all our things and moved out immediately not stayed there. Need to pay whole amount immediately. I think someone might have run without paying room rent, so may be they are treating all the customers in a cunning way. I will never visit this hotel.

The Executive room is neat and clean. The only issue and reason to stay away from this hotel in future is it's air conditioning unit. We felt that it was not at all working properly. It doesn't cool the room well less than about 28 degrees. We checked in late, so did not had time to follow up with reception. We thought the AC will take time to cool but it's not at all cooling properly. The serving is very slow at breakfast as there were only one or two persons for serving. Not great options for breakfast. Again we were sweating in the restaurant because of the bad Air conditioning unit.

Good, however front office was not forthright when we wanted change of room as room 1008 vibrates and gives irritating humming sound. Pool has kids section and other portion is uniformly 4feet. Would have been better if it was sloping. Overall good.

It's a wonderful Hotel to stay in. The staffs are very Cooperative and helpful. You can find three to four person to help you at the lobby always. The complementary buffet breakfast was awesome!

Great place for an overnight stay in Salem. The hotel is located in the National Highway, which is very convenient for those driving towards Bangalore/Chennai/Erode/Coimbatore. The rooms are very spacious for a family stay and the tariff is moderate compared to the facilities. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. However, the housekeeping needs improvement (it took more than 30 minutes for them to give an extra towel). There's a 24 hours coffee shop that serves midnight buffet (taste is not so great though, but worth if you are very hungry after a long drive).

Room was good and spacious. Great car park. Valet service. Was crowded when I went. Maybe because of that, they were a bit uncoordinated. Tried one of the restaurant and the food was definitely not up to mark. Very disappointing. Location: A bit away from the town centre.

Pleasant to stay and closer to the Bus stand and the railway station. Good variety of foods in the restaurant. You ll have complementary breakfast for a night stay and that's extraordinary. Usually complementary breakfasts are not up to the mark in some hotels, this one is not one of such kind.

Very good hotel with courteous staff. The room was clean including the bathroom. The breakfast had an amazing spread of items and the taste was equally good. All mention to the croissant and pinball. I would recommend to anybody with reasonable budget.

A decent hotel for the location. Quick check in. From outside it looked great. Our room 2008 needed a lot of repair. Tap, mirror, night light. Very noisy room looked like a generator was running near by. Even though we were in middle of the premises. Food was good. Good pool. Forgot to mention Wi-Fi was super fast but it often disconnects itself which is annoying.

Stayed in Grand Estancia for a night on an official trip. Booked through online site. Was able to locate the hotel easily as it is right on the highway. Check-in was fast and smooth. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are very Courteous. Breakfast has an ample spread. Enough parking space available. It was a value for money stay.

Even though check in was late for us, we absolutely loved the ambience, customer service of the Hotel. Staffs were courteous. Buffet breakfast was really good. Had lot of healthy options to choose from. They had a separate play area for kids which seems to be a good idea. Rooms were luxurious. Alacarte seems to be expensive. Overall the experience was good and don't forget to check out the swimming pool.

A total change in ambience. Needed some well organized management. The prices in the hotel does not meet the standards. I attended a new year party over here it don't have any planed and organized event. Even the room service is very late. They give more excuses than doing the job. The main thing the hospitality is lagging in this hotel.

This place is nicely located on the highway not far from the city. The food here is not that great. Tried their buffet. It wasn't upto the mark. Few dishes were really good though. Service was good but it can be improved. If you are looking for food options in the midnight, this place can be the go-to option.

A very poor experience at Roof top dining. Delayed service, dishes weren't refilled, had to request for 10 to 15 times for a serving. Hardly would find a rep to ask for a serving. Not why sure why I had to choose tonite dinner here. The sparkling ad do not get reflected at the table.

Hotel is at a perfect location on Salem highway. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is courteous and professional. Food and service is perfect. Swimming pool is open from morning to evening 8pm. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this place over any other hotels in Salem.

Swimming pool timings for those who stay are very odd. So hardly one can use. Most of the time, sone coaching classes for swimming is conducted. Had ordered breakfast (room service) at about 7in the morning. Waited for 45 min and yet the breakfast was not served. The rooms were however neat and tidy. Good location and adequate car parking. Food quality good. Visited this hotel again on 28th October 2017. The review for this visit is as below 1) We had shift to a different room after we checked in as we found the room having strong cigarette smell and the toilets were used just before we checked into the hotel. 2) For two guests checking in the double room, they have provided only one bath soap. 3) Ordered tea in the morning but was served coffee. 4) Wash basin drain cock was clogged. The hotel management needs to improve their service standards. Otherwise the business will drop.

Amazing place on the Bangalore-Kanyakumari highway. You can see it right from the road. Great hospitality, Valet, 24 hrs room service… and an awesome choice of cuisine in their in-house restaurants. Complimentary breakfast buffet spread was delicious and had all options. Right from healthy and natural fruit salad and sprouts to delicious muffins and danish pastries. Value for money. Worth staying!

This is a pit stop for me when I travel to my hometown. After a long journey, you can come down a have a stop here for food, restroom and stay if you are too tired to go forward. Ambience is great and you will get food 24/7. Food quality is good compared to any other restaurants on the highway. Overall a great place.

It is my second time visit to this hotel. I like this hotel. Food, location, ambiance, hotel staff attitude, rooms all are 5 star. One thing … unlimited Wi-Fi is available with super fast speed… swimming pool available… also bar 'Olive' is awesome.

This is a great place to stop by and have some breakfast or lunch if you are traveling by the national highway that runs along the front of the hotel. The food is quite good but actually could have been better. The ambiance is too class and is worth having a look at!

Neat, spacious, comfortable, well furnished rooms. Courteous, efficient staff. Excellent service. Delicious food. Outstanding value for money. I needed to leave early to reach Bangalore in time for a meeting. I was woken up on time and, when I came down at 5AM, my complimentary breakfast was packed and ready at the reception!

Rooms are comfortable although the rexine couches in the room deserve more care. The air conditioning in the room was quite noisy. Bed was comfortable enough. Bathroom was neat. Breakfast buffet was quite underwhelming. Not many dishes compared to other hotels of similar class. Disappointed at that. Service was quite good and the staff always had a smile.

Location is great on the highway in Salem. Perfect pitstop on a long drive. The ambience is interesting, but the maintenance is a bit disappointing. Clean and hygienic with decent food on menu as well as reasonably priced buffets. Service is always polite and efficient.

I had been there to stay there for 2 nights and the stay was amazing staff was courteous.

I have stayed with my family in this month 2nd and totally the experience was excellent and our kids enjoyed very much the interiors of rooms, well maintained bathrooms and the variety of spread in the buffet breakfast which is ultimately best in quality. Staff are courteous and respectful and we plan for a next stay here only.

Neat and clean business hotel overlooking bangalore — salem highway. North Indian delicacies in their restaurant cinnamon is great. Swimming pool, gym, bar and other facilities too. Complimentary break fast too. Charges for an extra bed as a % of rent is very high. If you are getting a good discounted deal (I booked in mmt and it is 1000 Rs cheaper than in hotel booking) do not hesitate to book it.
