Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple is a Hindu temple located in the city of Tiruchchirāppalli in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is one of the largest and most famous temples in India, dedicated to Lord Ranganatha, a form of Lord Vishnu. The temple is situated on an island in the Cauvery River and covers an area of 156 acres, making it one of the largest temple complexes in the world.
