Very nice hotel at a prime location. Tje room rates were very reasonable compared to the great quality amenities inside. The rooms were very modern, clean, spacious and high quality. I did not expect this hotel to be this good.

This is one of the best hotel in Chennai. Stayed here for two days. The staffs are very helpful, friendly and polite. The rooms are very clean and foods are fantastic.

The hotel was good, clean and the food was excellent. Only hotel so far we knew, concern about health and providing healthy food. The staffs are friendly and the restaurant waiter was extremely good in servicing the customer with smiling face especially a staff named Shankar Das. No regrets of booking this hotel. Worth for the money we spend at this hotel. ☝

One of the best hotels in Chennai. Rooms are clean and the staff is friendly from and provide a good service. Enjoyed food a lot, specially traditional food like healthy rice with milk, onion and chilli. Serves food both indian and western for a reasonable price. Maintains a relaxing atmosphere. Wifi is available in rooms also.

A decent hotel with a reasonable price point. The hotel is easily reachable from Central and Egmore railway stations. The room is small. No toilet amenities except liquid soap and shampoo. No bathmat in the room. Minibar is provided but nothing stored over there. Room, bed and toilet cleanliness is great. Pillow may not be comfortable for all as it has less filling. 2 half litre water bottles provided. Buffet breakfast has limited varieties but taste is good. Front office has extended warm welcome and check out. Overall a good choice. But those who look for luxury this hotel is not advisable.

Excellent l had stayed here for the last three years. The stay was very pleasant. Food good. Room cleaning good. Staff very friendly. Owner very much involved in the business. Hope they will keep the same standard. My best wishes to lawoods.

The food was good Reasonable price and nice service Ambiance was good The surroundings was clean enough There is only a small parking space for the restaurant Biriyani was good and everything was clean and fresh Even the restaurant is at a better place it seems to be unnoticeable. And there is not much people enter here. But the overall experience was good for me and it's just an another good and casual and friendly restaurant.

A cosy little home away from home. I only choose La Woods as this is my second home. Im treated and regarded as family with so much love and respect. A great hotel where the hotel people approach is good where they serve authentic old recipes of Tamil Nadu. Hotel is well maintained, only thing I felt wieard is that there are no windows inside the room. In all rooms air ventilation will come from the air conditioner. The hotel is near the mount road itself.

The hotel is close to US biometrics center and the US consulate and they provide complimentary drop to the Consulate which made us choose this hotel. Their complimentary breakfast was quite a spread and delicious. The place need a better upkeep and maintenance which would have increased a star in my rating. Very reasonable and comfortable for the price.

Food tastes awesome specially Biriyani, and the organic garden in the terrace is excellent. An innovative idea has to followed by all for a healthy future.

Very very Worst, if any top payers found — the management took all the stayed, occupied persons luggage from the room to their custody. We not aware about we open the provided room we may got surprise, shocking, guilty feel. They simply blame us from the occupiers as he miss the room, he forgot his room number. Very very very worst stay, and service.

I stayed with my family in Dec 2017. I booked 2 rooms. Rooms were excellent and comfortable to stay. Breakfast was very tasty and huge spread.

The reservation was made for 3 people Cons : — The room was not setup for 3 even though the reservation was made for 3 people. The extra bed was placed after we arrived. This was a nuisance since we reached late in the night after a long and tiring flight. And all I needed at this point was to crash — Considering the reservation was for 3 people, my expectation was to have a room that can accommodate as such. An extra bed in an already tiny room, turning the room into a dorm was very disappointing given the extra price charged for the 3rd person was quite significant — There was no soap in the dispenser in the bathroom when we arrived. We had to ask for it to be refilled. This showed lack of preparation — The toilets were not clean at all. Pros : — Excellent service, and the staff are all very nice and helpful. — I don't speak Tamil, and the staff were well versed in English. Communication wasn't a problem at all. — The rooms and toilet are very well furnished and modern. — The food is pretty decent — Close to US consulate is also a plus.

Most importantly in Chennai, this place has very clean bathrooms and toilet. The food here is amazing and organic. They have a terrace garden where they grow few veggies. Nice affordable place if you are looking for budget stay. Breakfast buffet is very good and is included in the stay. Strongly recommend it.

Overall a great and affordable place to stay in Chennai. Located very strategically at Anna Salai. Complementary breakfast is good. Food quality is also good. Restaurant food is good if you prefer not dining in the room itself. Removing one star because the staff doesn't know English or Hindi. They speak only Tamil and you'll have a difficult time communicating your needs. Pro tip: Google translate would be handy.

Pro: Best part of the stay is food. Tasty is very good, I'm wondering why outsider are not coming to their restaurant. They need to improve room amenities. Otherwise an nice place to stay for business travelers or family trips.

The hotel is accessible. They have type A plug points in the rooms which is very convenient. The restaurant serves decent food and the service is also good. The complimentary breakfast has a good spread of south Indian as well as continental. However the linen and towels in the room, though clean, are in pretty bad shape and need to be replaced. Overall it's a decent hotel if u plan for a short stay and convenient if you are travelling to visit to the US consulate.

Pros: 1. Rooms are Good and well maintained 2. Room facilities are Good 3. Room service is good 4. Staffs are courteous 5. Location very accessible and close to Chennai Central and Chennai Egmore and US consulate. 6. Very Very close to Escape Mall Cons: 1. Even though location is hardly any distance from Anna Salai, doesn't seem to be comfortable for a family with the surrounding area. 2. Hotel doesn't have it's own car parking. It needs to be parked in a dirty open private area which is very secluded. 3. Vegetarian food prepared by the in-house restaurant is not good. Very few items of breakfast is good.

A nice experience overall. Rooms were nice and clean. Staff was good. Buffet breakfast was good. Not very big or great looking from outside. Express avenue mall is nearby. A lot of eating places around. In room dining was fine. Airport and bus stand are far, about 1 hour drive.

Good location for shopping. You walk to the shoping on Expres Avenue in. Minutes.

A nice well located 4 star hotel. Very comfortable and adequately clean. Check in and check out is smooth and easy. Small restaurant downstairs for breakfast.

I stayed for 04 nights at this hotel, located in the city centre & close to shopping malls like Spencer & express avenue. Rooms are good & clean. Food at this restaurant is also very good. Service was excellent.
