Stayed only for 2D and a night. My room was deluxe room. It was spacious but no balcony as you will see in some ads. TV was small and for the money its like the minimum. Bed was not the top quality. But the room was clean, AC was good, no smell in room. Bathroom was clean and well maintained.
Staff is very polite, they allow early check in of 2 hours and late check out of 4 hours if possible. Swimming pool is very nice, but there was no kid's pool. So you may think about kids lifejacket, unfortunately its not there also. Pool is 4 feet high in full length, view is beautiful from pool / top. Poolman was the only guy I found grumpy, he was saying so many rules and almost took out the fun in the beginning. Roof top bar is also great but service only after 6.30pm. Complementary breakfast is great with a wide variety of dishes and sweets to choose from. But if you are going to have dinner or lunch from there with your partner, prepare to pay 4k or more. The food is not that great when you compare with the price and even I am saying without any drinks. There is so many charges and you may end up in paying GST for service charge for the price of food and GSt for food etc etc… Its OK if they are giving a complimentary drink or dinner wine etc.
But for just food, I mean normal food the likes you will expect in good 3 star/ 4 star hotel, to pay 2k per person without addons is very high unless you don't care about money.
But overall the stay was good. Staff is very polite. For travel I didn't ask taxi service from hotel and was using Uber.
If I am coming again to chennai, I will consider definitely this hotel, but not their restaurant for dinner or lunch.
