One thing I have mention here They are charging for 10+ ages Rs 1250 plus tax Which I find it not fair. I do understand my daughter almost 13, don’t mind paying it for her. My son 10+ still I have to pay for him.

Great Business Family Hotel With Delicious Food.

This is our 2nd time staying at raintree hotel anna salai. The hotel is very nice, clean, cozy ambience, very relaxing, providing various facilities & service to customers friendly staff and the price is worth the stay.

I was there on 15/8 — 18/8. It was a memorable stay there. The rooms were clean and the bed is also super comfy. I had wonderful sleep throughout my stay. The reception staffs were very courteous and attentive in meeting my needs. The housekeeping staff who cleans my room 206 took extra effort to introduce herself and did a good job. And not forgetting the staffs in breakfast banquet very polite and good service. Kudos to the team. Rain Tree Hotel Anna Salai will be my first choice during my next stay in heart of chennai❤️

A decent place in Chennai Anna Sakali on the Highway and well connected to the key locations across the city. But yet to reach the notch of 5 star hotel. Standard amenities in room were lacking (only 1 set of toothbrush/paste were given). Not all staff provided good service, some were rude.

I went there for a marriage reception. The function took place in the Purple hall. The hall was spacious and the service was good. Then the food at the buffet was good too. The desserts were especially good.

Very good hotel. A little too expensive but worth. Good buffet breakfast. Clean rooms and bathroom. If you are coming to attend US visa interview, this is around 4 km from US visa consulate. You can easily get a three wheeler or an uber.

Visited Raintree for a business meet. My experience is confined to the conference room and adjoining banquet hall alone. Conference room is a cookie cutter type, nothing different from any other in comparable hotels. Just business like and efficient, without any charm. Cocktails aplenty, decent accompaniments, average food. Overall a flat experience, but I guess that's expected from business hotels.

Had a buffet lunch at "The Kitchen". The starters and dessert very good but the main course was mediocre. We gave this feedback to the Manager and he immediately responded and brought the chef to discuss about the menu. Was impressed that they took the pain to listen us out and promised improvements. That was a very proactive approach from the team and we appreciate it. Will definitely visit again.

Excellent hotel with a great Buffet selection. Raintree is brightly lit and the staff is courteous. The guest rooms are tastefully designed. I've also attended a training program here, and the arrangements were lovely. I highly recommend this place for stay.

Dropped into The Raintree for an event. The space was comfortable and so were the facilities. The organisers seemed to have adequate help from the hotel for any last minute requests. The food and drinks were both served by friendly and helpful staff. The meal buffet had a decent spread and was nice but nothing memorable or exceptional. The staff at the front desk were polite, courteous and helpful. Overall, I would recommend this place if you want to host an event for 50-100 people. Seems value for money.

Nice hotel facilities at the height of the quality of this hotel. Very comfortable room. We stayed one night before going back to the plane. Quality breakfast we feel good in this hotel several restorations possible in the quality hotel we liked the Asian restaurant.

Rooms were neat and clean. Service was great impeccable. Food was excellent but way overpriced for what it was. Breakfast buffet had a wide spread with a lot of options. Staff were very accommodating as we had a toddler.

Safest no smell seafood in Chennai. Consistently. Great work by the restaurant's Chef Ramdas and the friendly staff servicing the table. Kevin is one of the waiters that need recognition in there. Keep up the great work guys!

The Hotel is very beautiful, clean, cozy ambiance, very relaxing, provide various facilities & services to customers, friendly staffs & the price is worth the stay. I would recommend 100% for customers to stay in this hotel & experience the feeling of beautiness of this hotel. I would specially like to say thanks to 1 of your dedicated staffs by the name of Mr. Murali Senior Duty Manager for his efficiency, effectiveness & also customer oriented talented person which really took care of us during our 1st stay last year 2017 & this year as well 2018. Definitely it's a must to stay at this hotel when u're at Chennai & we'll be back cheerrss.

Nice… but had a worst experience. This hotel is well maintained. Rooms are well equipped with necessary things. Ambience is good. Cleanliness is also nice. But the staff in the front desk is totally insane and behaves very rudely. This hotel is not ideal for corporate meetings. Because they're treating like dogs. Food quality is not even average. The man in the reception{the date is 21st march 2018, 10 pm} was behaved very arrogantly. They are struggling in handling the crowd.

Very good and nice for a great hotel.

Good location, reasonable rates, satisfactory food quality. Room comfortable except lighting. There is no personal light either near bed or at table. The wash room is clean but door was difficult to lock and shower knob was stuck. Staff behaviour is good but not very attentive. May be improved with attention.

We really enjoyed having our family get together at Annasalai Rain Tree on January 24. Everyone loved the food. Service was great! Banquet planner Nikita worked with us so well.

Your experience starts the moment you get down the car. Food tastes really good. Rooms are well maintained and near pleasant decors.

The best food I've ever had in a hotel. Food was well cooked. Superb service. Great ambience. Reception and help desk at Level zero, Couple of banquet halls in Level one. Rooms for guests till level 9. High lounge at Top level. There's a roof top swimming pool and a roof top bar.

Stayed only for 2D and a night. My room was deluxe room. It was spacious but no balcony as you will see in some ads. TV was small and for the money its like the minimum. Bed was not the top quality. But the room was clean, AC was good, no smell in room. Bathroom was clean and well maintained.
Staff is very polite, they allow early check in of 2 hours and late check out of 4 hours if possible. Swimming pool is very nice, but there was no kid's pool. So you may think about kids lifejacket, unfortunately its not there also. Pool is 4 feet high in full length, view is beautiful from pool / top. Poolman was the only guy I found grumpy, he was saying so many rules and almost took out the fun in the beginning. Roof top bar is also great but service only after 6.30pm. Complementary breakfast is great with a wide variety of dishes and sweets to choose from. But if you are going to have dinner or lunch from there with your partner, prepare to pay 4k or more. The food is not that great when you compare with the price and even I am saying without any drinks. There is so many charges and you may end up in paying GST for service charge for the price of food and GSt for food etc etc… Its OK if they are giving a complimentary drink or dinner wine etc
But for just food, I mean normal food the likes you will expect in good 3 star/ 4 star hotel, to pay 2k per person without addons is very high unless you don't care about money.
But overall the stay was good.

Just spent four nights here with our two young children. The rooms were spotless and modern. The breakfast buffet was huge, and the service staff was exceedingly friendly. Everyone knew our kids' names! The staff played with our kids and helped them out where needed. Definitely felt much more intimate than its true size. They also don't nickel-and-dime you; the buffet includes custom items, Wi-Fi, bottled water, and the gym are free, etc. We opted for the Raintree over other slightly higher priced Western hotel branches — — the Crown Plaza and the Hyatt Regency — — based on reviews. It was totally worth it. We are American and I've travelled extensively in American business hotels; this felt like a $350/night hotel at a third the price.

Super impressed with our choice to stay here. The service is amazing and the rooms are big and clean. We ate dinner at the rooftop restaurant and had the buffet breakfast and both were excellent. Can't say enough about the service though… so good.

Nice ambience, polite and helpful staff. Well maintained room. Also their tariffs are very competitive. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast which has a vast choice. Some innovative additions like stews and curries which I have not seen across at other hotels. Up North their punjabi restaurant on the rooftop is too good. Their mutton lahori is to die for… Madera the bar is tranquil a nice place to relax after a hard day. High the lounge has a good view of the city. But the music is too loud. Over all a great experience.

This is one of the best Hotel in Chennai. Check in was easy like a breeze. The buffet spread was fantastic and the quality of food is awesome. Would definately be back again.

A very beautiful hotel close to major areas in the city and located 20 minutes away from the airport. The hotel is beautifully decorated with a soothing ambience. The rooms are spacious and the fixtures are modern and appealing. Fresh fruits in the room were a nice touch. The breakfast buffet is wide with lota of options and ensures that you leave full and hearty for your day of work or leisurely activities.

Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, breakfast spread was nice, Wi-Fi connection was decent. Location is great, 12 mins drive to the US Consulate. Will stay again.

Efficient 5 star hotel, relaxing rooftop pool. Excellent breakfast. AC had some problems in one of our rooms.

This is firstly a pleasant hotel to stay in. It is reasonable value for money and the room rate includes some laundry, breakfast, fresh fruit and if you stay for more than 5 nights, airport transfers. The food is excellent and plentiful. The service in the buffet restaurant excellent but be a bit careful. It is very easy to spend a lot more than you intended. Check whether, what you are being offered is included or not in what you have decided to have. The a la carte restaurant food is superb and the staff delightful but can be so attentive that it is hard to hold a conversation with any companions that you might have. The rooms are pleasant, clean, spacious and well equipped. Newspaper is delivered daily. Be aware that when you are not in your room the absence of a key card means that the power is off. A great energy saving measure but not really thought through because the mini bar is also not working. If you want something cool to drink when you get back to the room you will be disappointed. If you want to avoid that, ask for a second key card at reception. All in all a pleasant experience. I commend the hotel to you.

Spic and span rooms. Bathrooms are neat and very clean. Hygiene gets a 5 star here. Views aren't great from your windows but you are hardly a 20 minutes drive away from Marina beach for a getaway. Beds, pillows, linen are clean, smell fresh and are very comfortable too. The breakfast buffet is simply awesome. Amazing variety and authentic taste. Probably one of the best breakfast buffets I have had in India till date (in this range of hotels). Amazing spread, multiple choices and sumptuously well tasting. The hotel also has spa services, a well maintained gym with an instructor and a rooftop pool. Overall experience has been absolutely 5 Star. Great job Raintree AnnaSalai. Keep up the good work.

I mean it's a good hotel but overpriced! If u say u get 5 star type of staff here then sorry it's not. Few good things was rooftop view n swimming pool and decor inside. But bad things. First when I started my Tv it had a display issue and they were charging 7k for tht room per night. I made a complaint and it got replaced in one hour but then dude thtz not expected as per the tariff they charge. Another, someone was ringing the bell of my room around 7:30 in the morning and when I went and asked I saw a waiter with the wrong room service on my door. Dude! And third I was in need of a cab and was calling the reception but always they put me on hold as if I am free. Poor staff. Rest cafe is good for dining but for stay I won't recommend as per the service they provide.

Great rooms, great food, great service. After a long flight, the welcome we received was just what we needed to feel comfortable. And the food… oh, the food. We never had a reason to go hungry. The next time we are in Chennai, I am sure we will stay here. ;

The hotel is one of the best 5-star hotels in Chennai. Especially if you are here for your US visa work both consulate and embassy are within 3kms radius. The hotel staff is friendly and they make sure get the most comfortable stay. Would recommend it to everyone.
