Perfect place to spend your weekends. As the place is away from hush hush of cities and is located on a higher place. Which gives you a very beautiful view specially in a misty morning! The place has a swimming pool and also camp fire at the night which makes it awesome. It'll be awesome for large groups. The food is not costly and is of decent taste. They even offer Spa and massage. The rates are negotiable and also corporate discounts are available for the stay.

It's a awesome place, staff are humble and excellent food service. Resort is clean during rainy season too well maintained. Loved Abeyance. Play area for kids, swimming pool view. Day was special for me and Green Gates was a cherry for the Day. And next stay is with Green Gates. Thank you Green Gates.

I personally feel that, if you are looking for a recent and well maintained hotel, then this is not the place. Because the room was not so good and the hotel is about 20 years (as said by one of the hotel employee). We had booked for the luxury non ac room and that room didn't had the proper electric plug, door mat and also the electric kettle everything even the TV wasn't working properly. Only the ambience is good but not so good to stay if you are looking for the pleasant stay. We weren't happy with the food also. Overall I can rate this hotel for 2 out of 5.

Had the most amazing holiday. Excellent service, the staff at the travel desk, front office and Spa were polite, helpful and efficient. The rooms were comfortable with all amenities. The food was delicious, a good mix of local and Mughlai and Chinese. This place is definitely value for money. Strongly recommend for family holidays.

The might be good if u have kind of deep pockets but before that hear my story. Me and my friends came, saw the price of the items, and then awkwardly walked out as the waiter was ready take our orders (we're collage students by the way so the what we consider expensive might or might not be comparable to yours)

Pleasant place to refresh yourself. Food was so good. Service was so perfect that u can get a person at your service in a single cal.

Amazing stay. Breakfast was simple but tasted really good. The surroundings was so beautiful. Filled with trees and flowers. Rooms were clean and provided basic toiletries.

Spent 2 days in this resort. The room and bathroom were surprisingly clean and well maintained. Swimming pool was clean. The restaurant was veg and non-veg. It was a bit difficult to find any good veg restaurants around, but have to mention that the veg food served in resorts restaurant was much better and tasty compared to few other restaurants we tried. As a complete experience the resort was fantastic, family friendly and within town Palketta. Would recommend to all.

Very good hotel located in Kalpetta. We booked 2 Standard Deluxe Rooms here. Rooms were good in size and with all the amenities. Surrounding greenery is also good. Staff is co-operative with quick service. Breakfast was complimentary with many options to eat. Food quality was also decent.

Nice place. Very close to the town and accessable to hospital and police station in case of emergency. Food is very good and a well maintained resort fit for all age groups. No problem for safety as there is security.

The main advantage of this hotel is its location it is at Kalpetta. The hotel offers good parking facility with a good restaurant. But most of the furnitures used in the hotel are old styled which actually makes us to think whether it is a 3 star or not…

We enjoyed our vacation here. Very good service by the staff. The ambience of the hotel is very good. It is very much in the heart of the city but once you enter the resort it feels like you are in a serene environment. There is a pool but carry your swim suits (or rent it there) And you also have a mini theater and some games for children. Food is good. We got to plant a sapling as a token of our stay there and it has grown into a small plant (updates from the hotel) We were five families together and the children enjoyed the stay very much.

We a group of 75 nos (family group), stayed in green gate hotel last week. We selected this resort, because of family security, hygienic food and clean premises. We all are very happy with these points and moreover good service and calm resort in wayanad for stay.

It was really a pleasant and happy for choosing this hotel for staying during the Wayanad visit. Initially I thought the hotel is almost in the middle of the city and it will be crowded but when I reached the hotel or the place then I felt the difference and you will not be feeling as if you are staying within Kalpetta region. I have taken the Cottage for staying here and I should strongly recommend anyone if you are planning to go along with kids and family you will have your best stay. Hotel Entrance view itself gives you a fresh feeling after driving from 200+ kms you will be welcomed with full of greenary and as soon as you park your vehicle and enter the reception you will be given a warm welcome along with the welcome juice. The staff and reception here are just fabulous always they serve and listen to customer with smiling face. Coming to entrance view of the Cottage you need to walk down from your parking place and entrance view or the cottages are located and surrounded by full of greenary and also the swimming pool. There is a camp fire setup so you can give relaxing evening with groups of people sitting around. Finally the main important is Kids play area which is must needed for tiny tots or kids they will be so excited to spend their time in playing which is very close to restaurant and even they will be so relaxed and happy to spend their holidays.

A good hotel experience. Good parking facilities, swimming pool, green surroundings etc are the attractions.

Nice place. Need a lot of maintained when it comes to the rooms and the facilities. And the TV… Oh… Dhabas have a flat screen. Why are they still using the old bulky TV sets, beats me. If they can get their staffs to learn English. It would be even better. Overall the place is peaceful and nice. Thumbs up.

Here we went for only dinner. Here they provide only Buffet which starts at 8 p. M. It was good and tasty.

The roooms in thr main building are pretty new. But if you want to enjoy the nature I suggest you ask for some rooms outside the main building.

Situated in the middle of city and still has a good ambience. Silent. Places to visit are equidistant from here. Good place to stay if u are planning to explore wayanad.

WORST stay of my vacation. The DAmanager is not a person worth dealing with I DON'T recommend anyone to stay here There are much better places to enjoy your holiday I have spoilt mine You don't.

It's a three star level hotel, the facilities and service are excellent. The cottage rooms are so good that you won't feel like leaving. Full of greenery around the resort. The swimming pool is maintained very nicely. If you like to spend more time idle in wayanad instead of going around tourist places, then this is the perfect hotel to stay in. The food is very good and they provide buffet option at very affordable price.

Property is well… Buffet food is average but with limited choice and there's no much option at the time of a la carte… and bathroom was not clean…

Room are clean, swimming pool is also good, spa m gym is also available, food is ok ok, travel desk is also helpful and easy approach for sightseeing.

The hotel is located in kalpetta and accordingly a very good hotel in terms of space and other things. They have their own spa center and a big pool which is clean as well. There are rooms available near pool as well as in main building. Main building rooms are fine but small while rooms near pool are big but have moisture smell all the time. Also, mosquito are high in those rooms. The food is very good especially north kerala special patheri (poori)

Myself and my family had been to Wyanad from Blore on 25/12 and 26/12 and stayed in the cottage in Green Gates hotel, Kalpetta. It was a very pleasant stay, the food was extremely good which we never expected being Bangaloreans. The staff was very polite. We could able to see some tourists spots around Wyanad. I give full credit to Green Gates hotel Staff and wish them to continue their good work.

The review is only for the dinner buffet at the restaurant. Most of the items in the buffet were lukewarm warm not hot. The taste was so-so nothing exceptional. The only thing I liked there was the soup and salad. Paying extra for non-vegetarian meal is worthless as the fish was not as fresh and the chicken gravy tasted sub-par. Overall I thought the food was just ok and overpriced.

Place is good but rooms need renovation. Very old rooms and no proper maintenance.

Rooms look more like a standard lodge. Room service is poor. A coffee takes 45 mins! Food is just about OK.

I went to Green Gates for a weekend and had a wonderful stay there. The staff is very down to earth. I stayed in the Bamboo Tree House, which is really pleasant to stay in, ideal for a couple. The place is clean, food is good enough (choices are a lil limited). Overall, I would say, it's worth the price to stay here in Green Gates and would recommend this place to others.

Very friendly staff, food is not something to rave about. They have a travel advisor, with whom you can discuss your travel given your time constraints in a room where there is a large map of Wayanad hanging on the wall. So you can discuss your travel itinerary with military precision :).
