One of the best homestays I have stayed. Amazing location, food and five star service. Very humble people.

Overwhelmingly scenic landscapes, super hospitable host, delicious food and a calming ambience. Our Vista Del Lago experience was surreal. It is everything you want in a holiday. I would a 100% recommend this if a relaxing getaway is what you have in mind. I'm not very certain I would say the same about the spa experience. It's probably not worth the buck. (Or quite possibly I don't understand spas) The access route could be a problem if you're an amateur driver. Though the nearest airport to the property is Calicut, I would recommend driving here from Bangalore. The road trip is absolutely worth it. We hired a cab for our 2N/3D trip. Thankfully, had a great guy as our chauffeur. If you're looking for a similar option, you should check if the host, Sai, can get you in touch with him. Also recommend relying on Sai's suggestions for sightseeing around Wayanad.

Yiu want relax with your family wihtout any city noise & distractions then this is the right place for you. Locates in banks of a lake it'll create a calmlines to our mind. There is no great tourist places in wayanad but this resort looks a great place to me. Have enjoyed very much. The supporting staff are very friendly. In the evening time you can see sunset in opposite meadow. A few known only. Infinity fool is great.

If you are reading this, you are having second thoughts. Just book it. The property is hot and might not stay unoccupied for long. Mr. Sai is an Airbnb superhost. Rather, Airbnb needs a level up title for him. Bangloreans, a must go. Route via Bandipur is worth the ride as well.

Vista del Lagos is really great place for couple. Well design and maintained. Power backup in such place is mind blowing. Espically the food is awesome. We were serviced many varieties. Overall really great place for honeymoon.

Amazing Spanish villas spacious and clean with wonderful view and most importantly the host, Sai uncle is a wonderful person humble and came all the way from calicut to meet us, he is very passionate, the manager Shon is very active and attentive and chef, Rasheed is amazing cook he can cook all the dishes you name it, all were delicious. Our room had an excellent view of the lake, it's very relaxing. Infinity Pool was very clean. Overall an awesome stay.

The night and day in 'VDL' is entirely different. At night the atmosphere in the 'VDL' is a bit romantic due to colour. But in morning the energies you to do something to go out and have experience. It is awesome.

A nice place with good ambience but is a little bit far from the tourist attractions.

We wanted something very quiet and peaceful to celebrate our 4th Anniversary, where we could just spend time with each other and our 1 year old daughter. I run a luxury travel company named — 7SeaAdventures out of Chennai and I could have easily gotten good deals at any of the famous resorts in Waynad, but I chose to stay at Visa Del Lago. This place was perfect for our requirement. Calm, Peaceful, views of the lake plus some mouth-watering Kerala cuisine and amazing hospitality. Sai, Shawn and Chef made our favourite food for the anniversary and even gave us a surprise by arranging a Candle Light Dinner. They always took an extra step to make out stay comfortable. They took care of our daughter whenever we needed some alone time for ourselves. Rooms are perfectly decorated, neat with all the amenities that you would want in a 5*. The sunset from the hill opposite to the Resort was one of the highlights of the our stay there. Thanks guys for the awesome and relaxing 3 days. We will surely visit again. Vaibhav.

I live in Ernakulam and I have been to Wayanad a couple of times and I will say without any hesitation that this is the best place ever where I have been in Wayanad, the quality in each and every service they provide is extraordinary and the main attraction is the view from each cottage to the nature in front of you, I have no words to express it. I felt so stress free and relaxed while sitting in one of the cottage, Food is excellent and the staff is very helpful and kind. Thank you for vista del go team…

Property Location — excellent Resort infrastructure is planned on Spanish theme — which is coming out nicely every rooms has private balcony, nice sitting, bone fire and BBQ area We stayed in lake view room, which is the beast Food is really good, very homely Hospitality of the Owner and whole staff is excellent Our over all experience was very memorable.

We visited Vista del lago just before new years and absolutely fell in love with the place. The place looked exactly like the photos given in their website — beautiful, Spanish themed rooms and it felt like we had our own private lake villa! The staff and the host were very warm, attending to even the smallest request you have. The attention to detail here is par none and Mr Sai goes out of his way to make you feel home. Will strongly recommend this place!

My fiancee and I were some of the first visitors to be welcomed to Vista Del Lago. We live in the USA and I'm from the U. K, I have been to Wayanad 3 times and I would confidently say this was the best place we have ever stayed in Wayanad. The views over the lake and the mountains are breathtaking to say the least, sitting back here in Houston looking over the dirty streets and heavy traffic, I wish I was back there! The view alone is worth the stay, every day we were woken up to a jug of freshly brewed milk tea (chai) and sitting on our balcony gently waking up. The friendly and attentive staff were always happy to help us with whatever we needed. I would say they went above and beyond, even fetching us some beers from a local shop, when we asked. The private villas are very luxurious and have excellent modern walk in showers (no jug needed). When we wanted to go sightseeing, the resort handled everything and set us up with our own driver and tour guide, a massive luxury which we thoroughly enjoyed. The food offered to us, cooked by their in house chef was incredible, authentic local curries and dishes which never left us desiring our own western food. The amount of food was also plentiful and we definitely felt well taken care of.

Beautiful place! A very calm and peaceful location with a great view. The Spanish interiors are very well done and the villas are excellent. The staff is super friendly and the food was amazing. A very good place to relax and enjoy the nature.
