It was an Awesome stay. Hotel is located in good location & easy to reach. Staff & reception behaviour were excellent. Neat & clean & spacious room. Indeed magnificent food.

Nice rooms. Nice lobby. Great ambiance. Located near a metro station. In the centre of the city. Near to good restaurants and Malls. HOTEL itself has a good restaurant and buffet too.

Right in the middle of downtown Kochi, The Dunes is tucked away in a lane just away from the main road close to the metro station. The rooms are reasonable charged and are decent for a short stay. The restaurant on the top floor serves a decent breakfast, haven't tried the lunch or dinner options. The staff is courteous though there is a scope for improvement in their engagement with customers. The hotel is clean although the linen is not always new. Definitely recommend staying here for short stays.

Comfortable rooms, with excellent air conditioning. Fan speed control not available. There's nothing much to enjoy looking out of your window. Prompt service by house keeping staff. Dining hall staff should open up. However, the lady staff at the restaurant were really professional. Receptionists can node at existing customers too when they reenter from outing, instead of staring at them indifferently, thus reassuring they are recognized, no need to prove identity. Newspaper comes so early, pushed thru underneath the door — appreciate that. Operating days and times for the pool. Nothing to complain, but there's much to improve. Infrastructure is good, some ppl say about space constraints, but I feel it's spacious enough. Bathroom is OK but shower control is very hard, after you put the soap, really can't turn that knob easily!

Good hotel and nice location. Well furnished room and staff were also very prompt and active. Food is is very good. We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel. Swimming pool and gym is also there. So that you do not miss ur daily work out. Location is also very good. Hotel is on m. G road so that u can go shopping to nearby malls if u want. Price is also very affordable. I paid 6800approx for 3 nights with breakfast inuded in it.

Decent hotel in Cochin which is very conveniently located near MG Road. Seems that the hotel is built in a very limited land area and hence not very spacious. Has a very limited frontage. Rooms are neatly maintained. Buffet has limited dishes, though tasty. Service was average. Considering the overall package, it is definitely value for money.

Stayed there for 2 nights. Nice place, almost centre of the town, bus stand and railway station at walking distance. Food is just okay. Not so good to talk much about. Friendly staff and good cleanliness. Have top floor pool and gym.

Great amenities View was not that Great. Although The Infrastructure was Awesome Nice Pool & Breakfast. Seafood Platter was Nice but a bit over priced. You can always go for Veg. Thali.

It's a 4star hotel. At M. G. Road Ernakulam. Good looking. Very friendly. Reasonable. Good staffs, Very polite. Clean and neat interior and exterior. Me stayed in a suit room. Up to the Mark.

My sister's wedding was here! Loved their hospitality and their cooperation :) But we couldn't use drones for the wedding shooting as it was a drone restricted premise (the location of the hotel) and the hall was only for 200 pax so that way, due to interior height restriction, we couldn't use drones there too.

It's a very nice place to stay worth each single penny and shopping malls are very near. Hotel staffs are very friendly and very big thanks to front office supervisor Mr. Dan Thomas who assisted us in almost everything since we were New to that place. Looking forward to go there soon.

This is very well located in the heart of Cochin. Centrally located at MG Road and just walking distance from the MG Road Metro station. There is a good breakfast spread along with a terrace pool and fitness center. Wifi speed is good and the staff is friendly. It's a good deal.

The dunes is an inexpensive boutique hotel of mg road very close to center Square mall. The rooms are medium size, well equipped though a shade run down. The bathroom is wonderful with a rain showerhead and consistent hot water. Pool is only 3 ft deep but clean and covered. The flip side is wobbly service. Having to wail every day for 2 l. Of water that is supposedly complimentary is no fun. Likewise thorough room cleaning once in 5 days is too little! once more was tidied only. Bit sad. Reception very friendly but not always effective to keep their promises.

Excellent experience. Thanks to the staff especially binoy and Santosh of f & b and the chef for the awesome food. They were really good and professional. They co ordinated our wedding reception very well and was very open to all our suggestions. Great job team. Hope to connect again soon.

I reached The Dunes Cochin around 2100 hours on Indian Republic Day, 2018. There was no attendant at the conceirge to receive the incoming guests. The Valet was busy. Once I produced my identification, I awaited for a nod from the Front Office staff to proceed to my room. Once again, the reception did not care to offer carrying my luggage to the room. After a quick shower, I reached the open restaurant adjacent to the Front Office. The buffet is open until 2230 hours. At 0915 hours, there were no soup bowls, or dinner plates. The Food & Beverage manager seems perplexed trying to scramble things and manage the situation. Guests were asking for spoons. The food had to be replenished. Somehow, we asked a table closest to the buffet to be cleaned. We asked a server to place paper-tissue under our wobbly table. Out of the three dessert items, one was over. I just guess, the hotel was understaffed and the workers seemed overwhelmed. I also noticed another party going on at floor 8 at the hotel's banquet hall. I hope to revert and rate the Hotel's service at a much higher rating. It seemed like a bad day for all of us!

Dunes is a good business hotel for a one or two day visit. I primarily go there for official purpose. They have swimming pool and spa facilities ad well. The food offerings are average. But overall a good business hotel to stay in.

Its a very nice place to stay! But was not so satisfied with the dining area because there is not much space for people. Staff also there was less but polite! Overall, there is quite a scope of improvement!

Ambience is great. Staff young and very civilized. Food is great. Great location. Worth visiting. Here I must mention, Mr Benoy (manager), very kind and thoughtful person that he is. Goes beyond the call of duty to accommodate any customer. First I thought that I was the only one to get such a treatment, but a lot of my friends held him in high regards. I recommend very strongly!

The most disgusting and manner less hotel I ever seen in this city. Our experience in this hotel was horrible, staffs doesn't have any manners. They treated us in such a filthy way that we never want to visit this city again. Dont go to this hotel, I will not recommend this crap for any of my friends.

Great value for money. Located and a very good location near to MG road near Central Square Mall MG road. The rooms are worth the money very clean and have the needed amenities. The staff are very polite and helpful. If choose the complimentary breakfast option you won't regret it. The breakfast includes many dishes which in my experience is the most from other hotels and they are tasty. Overall great experience and would recommend others.

Out of all the hotels I stayed in while I was Kerala this was the worst. No manners, terrible service, no brains and unprofessional! Tried over charging us extra for things! Not clean rooms or covers! Most food on mid day menu wasn't availible. No one present during breakfast, no hot water or milk out. People working looked moody and had attitude the whole time, not welcoming. do not recommend!

The bell boy was the only staff helpful, five of us arrived to be told there was a problem with the booking, there was no reassurance and they tried to charge extra, we where all tired and not one of us was greeted with a smile. Having finally got to our rooms which were ok apart from the bathroom which was disgusting, later on we decided to have some food, the two women serving us did not even understand English or the menu that was in English and even the manager that did understand was avoiding us to take the order. Everything we asked for was unavailable on the menu, they removed the cutlery and napkins before we sat down. On finishing and asking for the bill, they tried to charge extra for a cup of tea, Which may not seem much but it's the principal and having been treated that way, we weren't going to give in. The breakfast timings were from 4am to about 7:30am and as we had to leave for our flight early am, we requested a 5:30am breakfast. We came to the dinning area to find nobody, even at the front desk so I went into the kitchen as I could hear someone in there. He was kind enough to bring out some butter for us, then two men walked out half asleep. I then asked one of them to bring us some tea Which he did, however being lazy he didn't serve it or spread the teapot's out on the table, we just passed them around.

Service is good. Property is little old. I wont say it is worth the money I paid. The aiport pickup facility is 250% of normal rate. Food is really not upto the mark. Housekeeping is prompt. Overall staff is very good.

My family and I have had a great weekend at the Dunes. The room, the service and the breakfast buffet were all pretty good. The negative side during our stay was the weak Wi-Fi in our room.

Very poor service. Especially if they already got their money in advance. Food was bad. Offered complimentary breakfast, but asked to pay for the 2nd person when we sat down with our food. I guess they expect only one person to eat food n survive and the other one can starve.
Looks good from outside, but remember "looks can be deceiving".
My aunt was coming from abroad at 4 in the morning, so I asked if they would allow her to rest in our room for 2-3 hours till its bright outside, and they said we can sit in the lounge area or we would have to pay for another room (are you serious? ).
It seems the 2 or 3 managers are really running the whole show here, people who work at the front desk have no clue about the company policies (prolly because management changes the policy however they feel like whenever they feel like)
Piece of advice to foreigners, try not to pay in advance and make sure u get everything u need prior to you pay them. If possible, avoid this place at all cost. I would never ever stay at this place even if I have to sleep in my car.

Very good location. Clean & good service. Shower not hot. Nice breakfast. Recommended. As a precaution in any hotels, keep bags locked when you go out.

A Very Bad Experience, Our Personal Ornaments and money were stolen from the room (which was locked) by one of the house keeper and the sad part was that, the hotel management didnt take up the case effectively… I would say to stay in a place like this would be insecure.
