Service is very friendly and rooms have nice views and are spotless. View from the rooftop pool was stunning! However, not all rooms are like in the pictures, ours didn't have a bathtub and 2 sinks. Breakfast was good, I would've preferred a printed menu though for the items that could've been ordered. Spa was also very nice. We paid 9500 INR per night.

It's an extra ordinary hotel, its five star facility they provided. And staff are very friendly. They have roof top swimming pool. Hotel places also awesome. And view from the hotel is good. Everything is good.

Great place. Very well made and maintained. Very warm and hospitable staff. Heated swimming pool was fabulous. Had gone with a 4 yr kid and he also loved it. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay. It’s truly Höme away from home. Visiting this Gods own country From Sunshine State of Florida and very pleased with clean rooms exotic food and excellent service. Will let my family and friends know were to stay.

— Mediocre 3-star hotel, pretending to be more. — Husband and wife owned, living in the hotel with uncomfortably hands-on management (their presence is 24/7), making it more like mom-and-pop operation. — Over-rated despite "like 5-star" claim their parroting, untrained young staff with unacceptable English language/comprehension skills. Not even a 4-start, at best 3-star if they fix the issues with new management. — Misleading 'panoramic' name (using clever wide angle photos) when all of Munnar anywhere you go is panoramic. — Hotel location is very far from town and sightseeing places. Situated right off a very busy highway with very little curb appeal. — Bare rooms set up with gotchas to extort 'missing' item cost at check-out — Gaudy, incoherent, tasteless interior design particularly their garden and underground restaurant — Garden (the only open space) is very small, cluttered with features such as fountain, bird cage, etc. That are tacky at best — The bird cage (ostensibly with birds Madagascar according to staff) to simulate a fake sanctuary when lots of native birds locally to Kerala are everywhere. The caged birds chirp incessantly and is very annoying. — Food is mediocre at best, lots of local restaurants and cafes into towns either direction from this remote hotel Summary: Stay away from this hotel, save your money, go elsewhere with better service that's closer to beautiful and panoramic Munnar.

Overall experience at hotel was great. The location and view are ideal and the rooftop pool was the major highlight for us. The rooms are quite large and the balcony on each is a great touch. A couple words of caution: this is a dry hotel and you will have to drive almost 20km for wine or beer (not the end of the world) + they do not exchange money at the front desk so make sure bring extra cash.

Good place to stay, brilliant view from pool side. Well maintained place. Restaurant can be noisy with kids not disciplined by their parent's. Which spoils the ambiance of quite dinner or breakfast. Food is great. Staff is smart, accurate and smart. View from this place is good to wake up every morning.

Absolutely loved it. The stay was really nice. The scenic view from the room balcony was a pleasure to look at. Situated nearly 13km away from munnar town, the location was much better and less crowded.

Fantastic stay in Munnar, I could not have had a better choice of hotel than this place. The view from my room (so unbelievable beautiful), the bedroom itself (very clean, lovely decor, grand and sublime), the staff (lovely Indian characteristic, very professional, polite and helpful — i. E. Prabu was a delight on the top pool, very attentive and helpful, professional manner and gave me loads of information about Munnar and surrounding areas), the food (just yummy! ), the infinity pool (wow — what a concept in a perfect spot) … I would have so much more to say but really words cannot describe my experience here, a real treat. I would definitely return to The PG if I go back in Munnar (I will).

The best hospitality I have ever received in Kerala. Stay is nice and affordable. Worth for the money you pay. Staffs are well trained professionals. Whoever owns it know how to run this business.

Courteous staff, well maintained property. Both pools are great, well heated, rooms are spacious, the view from each balcony is breathtaking. The restaurant, Foodsense, serves good food. Overall, they made our stay at Munnar memorable.

Very nice resort, we loved our stay here. Room was great, staff was awesome and food was delicious. I recommend this place in Munar. Infinity pool was nice. We had mountain view room, which we loved the view.

Amazing hotel at the most prettiest of locations. Two restaurants full of variety and an infinity pool on the terrace along with a huge array of games at the activity center. The rooms are just top notch and the tourist attractions are all closeby. My only gripe is that food service in the restaurant generally takes a lot of time which really needs to be looked at but otherwise the staff politeness and eagerness to provide information and directions is well-noted.

Just as the names goes, this place gives you a panoramic view of a beautiful, lush green Mountain from the balcony of each room… I chose this place for our honeymoon and it was the best choice, I must say. We were welcomed by a very hospitable staff. The interior of the Hotel is at its best with beautifully lit up lobby and other areas. The room occupied by us was luxurious provided with state-of-the-art amenities. An amazing view from the balcony made our stay worthwhile. I recommend this hotel for its hospitality and ambience. We have a nice stay at the hotel. But I was really upset with 4 points with the Hotel staff which I have never seen or heard. Points as follow: 1). My “shorts” are missing from the room and staff has not replied properly but on the other side they blame us we have taken the shorts outside the hotel and kept some where. 2). We found a hair in the food and the same was been complained to manager but we receive the minimum reply from his end. 3). At the time of check out they blame us that we have stolen the tray from room worth approx rs 60-100. We replied we have not taken any tray repeatedly and also requested them to check our luggage too. But they refuse and they denied for the check out on non receipt of the tray payment. 4). After our continuous quarrel with staff for tray, they accept they will not claim the tray amount, but instead they charge for the mini bar which we have not use at all. Even the one star hotel staff is better then this hotel staff. Worst hotel staff I have ever seen.

Visited in October and Munnar was at its prettiest best. The view from the rooms was so pretty in the early mornings. And the heated pool is a luxury experience that is unmatched.

Easy to reach, the roads are good. The food is good the people are amazing the rooms and the view is amazing. I rarely give out a good review, but this is highly recommended. Cheers! p. S probably the only place with two centrally heated swimming pools.

Wonderful place nice n comfortable place. A bit far away from munnar town. Gud staff behaviour.

Not value for money. The food is average, except for The Underground Lounge, but they don't have a bar license. The staff is sloppily dressed and has difficulty comprehending standard instructions in English. The Wi-Fi doesn't work properly, and the spa is average. Nor do they have any tie-ups with locals for sightseeing, and they do not really help in figuring out places to go and how to get there. They just offer a car with driver to take you around. We had a car of our own so we didn't check their prices for that. They do have a beautiful location, and the heated swimming pools are fabulous. The two stars are for these two things. The Panoramic Getaway is a new hotel, and it shows. The basic structure is in place but have a lot to improve in terms of service, and I hope they buck up soon and fast.

It is about 9km from munnar. Nicely thought out rooms. Very good bed. Expensive but good food. They have warm pools, one of them in the 4th floor (a small infinity pool). We faced an arrogant housekeeping staff and to our surprise an equally arrogant hotel manager who backed him. It was a nice stay screwed by two arrogant people.

New property, very well manager, good amenities, heated swimming pool, good food.

Place with a view. Food's amazing. Waiting for a bar permit. Place would be full once they start serving liquor.

Great place to stay in Munnar. The view from the hotel rooms are absolutely beautiful. Swimming pools also with magnificent view of the green nature and clouds on it. Its worth the money.

It was a wonderful experience being at Panoramic. It was our class reunion occasion. The staff and the management was so welcoming and hospitable. The rooms are exquisite and the view from the hotel is breath taking. The services are prompt and the stay was fantastic. Great food. Everything is world class and international standard. Great and awesome experience.

Awsome place to stay. Best hotel to stay at in munnar. And the food is amazing at their restraunt. The staff is also loving and caring, greets you every time with huge smile.

Absolutely loved this place. The view was awesome (befitting the name) and the staff were so warm and made us feel at home. Food was excellent as well.

Amazing views of mist shrouded mountains. Excellent service. Spacious room. Advice: wake up before sunrise to see a breathtaking view of the mountains. Highly recommended. Avoid room 302 (i think, it was 30_ (something) ) as it was close to the kitchen vents. Overall, this hotel was the highlight of our trip. Request to management: it was very sad to be in such a beautiful and pace surrounded by nature, but have two large bird cages with birds locked up insde. This went sharply against the free eco-friendly atmosphere of the place, besides theses were mainly imported birds whose chirping was so loud and did not match the surrounding atmosphere. Munnar has plenty of free birds that we can all enjoy watching and listening to, there is no need to lock up budgies and white doves. Also the fish in the tiny fish tanks at reception, seemed all dead, so did some koi fish in the pond. You have done a great job with the hotel, please keep an eye for such details that can impact greatly on ecologically conscious travelers.

Nice hotel and nice hospital staff… But don't expect much activities since the hotel is on top of mountain.

I loved everything about this hotel. We went in August. This is close to many attractive places. Staff. Food, room, everything was awesome. We got Wifi also. Lush green surrounding makes it even more beautiful.

It is very nice hotel. Clean & spacey. Very beautiful and relaxing view on the hills. Sexy bath with a glass to the bed. Automated room with IPTV system that have box office movies … very nice restaurant and nice outdoor pool on the roof top. It just miss the Spa and the fitness center.

The best place!. The restaurant was awesome. The price looks very normal, doesn't a star hotel price. I had a dinner, sizzlers where awesome. Good foody place. Must visit this place.

I have stayed in this hotel for 2 days in January, the facility is outstanding, the staff is very friendly, good room service, food was excellent, it was a wonderful experience I couldn't believe such a facility is available a place like in munnar. But the Wi-Fi was not available in the room. Overall staying in this hotel was a spectacular experience.
