Rooms were good. Lovely and beautiful view of the backwaters. Service was good by the staff. Food was tasty and delicious. Thanks to sunny sir and his staff for making us comfortable during our stay.

Very nice place to stay. Food make some arrangements else staff might take a while to prepare it. Swimming pool overlooking the backwater feels like stay in Bali. They have boat service also. Excellent rooms and the toilet was best part. We stayed in 217 and 218.

The resort is on a fantastic location and looks way more beautiful than its photos. I stayed at the heritage room and it looked pretty cool during the day. The gardens and the pool outside add a touch of elegance to the room. At night the lights outside add to the overall ambience. You can also schedule boat rides from this location. Now we are done with the good parts, let see the bad ones. The first is the slow service. The next is the pool maintenence during daytime. Last is the room tariff which is way more than it should be. But the negative fade away when you relax at this place with its serene views and that's exactly why I would come here again. At night if you're lucky, you can sleep in the hammock under the star with cool winds.

Location is awesome. Nice stay too. But, service and staffs are not up to the par.

We stayed there for 2 days in January. Staff are very helpful. Rooms are very spacious. You can enjoy sitting at ground the beauty of Vemadan lake.

Good place to stay. Food is good but expensive. Good amenities provides. Room service is good. But if you are booking online please ensure your booking before a week, my friend and me faced the same issues with the booking with rooms with balcony. They didn't provide the same room which we booked.

Great location, really good service, and yummy food. The heritage rooms are kind of cool, but a bit old and don’t feel as clean. The new rooms are q quite nice, but toilets throughout the resort are built pretty high and are not ideal for short people! There are boats and hammocks and a pool, so there’s plenty to keep you entertained.

Beautiful Resort. Really good staff. Even the owner is really good. My stay was Awesome. The room size is really good. The pool is also awesome and kept clean. Great view of the lake. They also help you with cab service or auto service. They will also help in providing Shikara rides at 700 an hour and also boat house around 7500 for day cruize. The place is really neat and clean.

Very bad customer interaction. Food slow and creatur. Rude managment. I think there is a jail named shanthitheeram. This is not like a resort. Worst feeling ever. I am suggesting no one can stay there!

Located right next to the backwaters, this resort has some of the best views of the lake. The rooms are spacious and clean. They also have Kerala style cottages. There is a pool and a restaurant both with a beautiful lake view.

Right next to Vembanadu lake with Traditional Kerala room structures. Service levels are a bit low, as the place was understaffed when we went there. Ok kind of Food, but the best view of the lake and awesome small swimming pool… Good place, if you just want to relax and enjoy the beauty of Vembanadu lake…

Could not have asked for a better place. It felt like heaven. Definitely gonna come back and stay here for more days in my next trip. Thank you Mr. Hashir, Mr. Manager and Mr. Riddhesh for the hospitality you have shown. Awesome is the only word I can use for your resort.

What an ambiance! What a lovely place to stay! Just beside the Kerala backwater, it is indeed a must stay for travellers touring Aleppy.

Ignore all the other positive reviews. I had booked a lake view room after contacting the resort directly and also paid them the amount on trusting them. On reaching the resort with my pregnant wife, I was initially shown a room which was lakeside (small but clean). While we were settling down, the owner and caretaker who were dressed shabbily (and looking intoxicated) came and told us that there was a mistake and that we were to have another room. They claimed that the new room would be better bigger with better views. This was their trick in getting us out of the first room. As soon as we stepped out, another family (who had just come in adhoc) was made to occupy our room. The moment we came out, we were taken to the back most room which was unclean and very ordinary. When my wife hesitated to get in, she was told that the rooms and bathrooms were huge with an awesome view (it was already evident that this was true when standing outside). Anyway, we went in and realised that they were just taking us for a ride. We decided to move on and look for another place abandoning Shanthitheeram even though we had paid for the room. While we were in he car, the owner came up to us (shabbily dressed and intoxicated), and completely unprofessional, spoke rudely and asked us to clear out if we didn't like the room. This is something that anyone who runs a resort would not do. Take it or leave it was what the caretaker also told us.

Best thing about this hotel is the view. Awesome lake view in front and sunrise In the morning. Rooms are full wooden with contemporary look. However, room does not have adequate lights and wiring and switches looks old and dangerous. Service needs improvement. Breakfast served very late. Food is super expensive. Try walking out to main road and eat at local restaurant which serves awesome food at dirt cheap prices.

1. Memorable stay and the view of the lake from the resort is awesome. 2. Since there is no fencing done to the edges, it could prove dangerous to children and kids playing near the water. 3. There was no hot water available for bath and it was only lukewarm. 10. Complimentary breakfast includes one special dish like dosa, puttu etc, can order omelette, juice, egg scramble, toast jam tea coffee etc. 11. You can opt for candle light dinner across the pool and lake. It will be very nice.

Location — You will really have to struggle to get to this place. This is 19kms from Allepy town and another 1 km from the main road. But once you reach there its an amazing place. Absolutely adjacent to back waters. Food is average. The attendants are responsive but mostly you will be at the mercy of the attendants. But overall you can spend an entire evening staring at the backwater sitting in its garden. Amazing view.
