We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable, cleanliness was excellent, and the staff was extremely courteous.

We had taken the executive room, it came with one large and a single bed which was very comfy. Room and restroom also very good. 5 mins walk to mg marg. Staff are very nice ppl. Overall great stay!

The hotel has amazing rooms with breath-taking views. Tshring was very polite and helpful and I would like to appreciate Bindya, Tshring and rest of the housekeeping staff.

Overall service was good. Hotel room was really spacious and clean. Staff was friendly. Karma, Aparna, Sushil, Sukraj, Anisha all of them really provided good service.

Hotel Great Eastern Valley in Gangtok provides a truly memorable and comfortable stay, perfectly blending affordability with excellent service and amenities. Rooms are good with spacious bathrooms.

Nice terrace view of Gangtok city is the I think best attraction of the hotel.
And the small Buddhist temple on terrace too.

Comfortable room with clean linens and good lighting. The bed was cozy, and the air conditioning worked well throughout the stay. Staff were polite and responsive.

Owners Mr. Shiva ji and Radha ji with their girls took excellent care of us. They pleasantly supersized us with delicious, local, home-made food. Radha ji is an excellent cook.

Mind blowing location, rooms are very very neat and clean. Well maintain property. My child enjoy very much. Tasty food and staff behaviour is very helpful.

The common areas are chill and make it easy to meet new people.

I am writing this review while still staying at the property, and I truly felt compelled to share my experience.

We had a very pleasant and memorable family stay at Etho Metho Hotel, Lachung. The rooms were clean, warm, and cozy, especially comforting in the cold weather.

The rooms are clean, they provide heaters and good homely food for a supremely difficult terrain like Lachung in that price point.
The staff is extremely hospitable.

We felt so welcomed here. The food was awesome. People in the holtel were so kind and helpful. Only place in pelling to get authentic Thongba and other traditional sikkim dishes. Had allot of fun.

We stayed in the studio room. Thanks to Mr Bhutia for accommodating our last minute booking. Very excellently managed hotel with excellent facilities which we only find in international hotels.

We stayed overnight and the hotel had all the facilities for a comfortable stay. The rooms are cosy and had perfect heating for our late December stay. Mr. Kezeng Bhutia is very warm and helpful.

The staff was courteous and the rooms were nice and cozy. Initially the room offered to us had a solar heater which was probably non functional.

It's a cozy and quiet place. Best place to stay if visiting Gangtok with friends. May not be ideal for elderly.

The location is the best in Gangtok. You get to see some breathtaking views from the terrace and the balcony. Infact we spent the whole nights in the balcony itself.

The room and bathroom were clean. The food were also delicious. The staff’s behaviour were descent, helpful. Would recommend this stay as it’s walking distance to Mg marg is in 10 mins. :)

Loved the peaceful and eclectic atmosphere of bamboo, decorated with artefacts from the Himalayas — it was like being in a small museum!

It is one of the best stay if one wishes to steal the Kanchenjunga breathtaking view. Amazing and dedicated service provided by Joy and his team.
