Awesome peaceful place…

Very bad quality food undigestable food very poor service don't want to stay here anymore if few day continue stay here we all not feeling well. No hospitality.

We can yesterday. And a good location and good food.

Booked this hotel for just one night and we were disappointed. I rarely give bad reviews but there are multiple reasons why I just gave two stars. Hotel location: It very far away from the mall road. On asking if there is a shuttle available, the reception staff told us to contact the travel helpdesk. The approach road to the hotel is in bad condition and there are no singage on the way. We checked with a cab driver and the rate for the drop at the mall road was 300 and another 300 for the pickup on the way back. Rooms and bath: we booked the top category room "Chalet" thinking that it will be amazing. The room had seepage marks on walls and the worst was that in room on the ground floor you can hear stomping noise when people on the floor above move, making it extremely difficult to enjoy in peace. The wooden flooring was coming out in some places. There were big mosquitoes in the room. As per the booking site, the room also promises a bathtub with a great view. Frankly, the bath tub is extremely small and it good only for children. Overall the resort is lush green, has its own waterfall but that's no reason to pay an exorbitant amount. Attitude of the reception staff : attitude makes the most impact. We approached the reception staff three times and all three times we got rude or "It's not our problem" replies. First to comment on the bad roads, the answer we got was that it would be just a small stretch.

Nice & well maintained resort, Clean rooms & Peaceful and quiet ambience. We had visited long back in 2015 & would love to visit here again. Far from the town (wasn't a problem as we had our own vehicle) Wonderful staff, happy with their services & hospitality. Overall a very good property for comfortable stay…

Decent place. Up in the hills away from the main city. The views could be better. The food is quite basic. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Great resort. Peace and quiet. But far from the town. Commuting can be a challenge of you don't have your own vehicle.

We stayed in both premium and chalet room. Pic below are from chalet room. Which is luxury room. A must stay. Beautiful n spacious room with breathtaking view … The premium room are very basic. N not all premium rooms are same. Some offer bathtub. Better to go for premium room on top floor which offer good view plus have bathtub…

Good hotel. But it is far from MG road and cabs will charge extra to reach here. Not a better choice.

Except for the fact that it is slightly off the city centre (only ~ 8kms), this is an excellent hotel cum resort, especially for families including children's play area, interesting trails, etc. On top of that, you get excellent food, complimentary breakfast, spacious rooms with heaters. All at a very reasonable price.

Good property. A little out of town and peaceful. Very generic decor, no real coffee and the restaurant serve really 'average' food.

Me and my family stayed for 3 nights. Its a beautiful and picturesque place. Staff is very courteous, responsible and well mannered. Food is excellent with lot of varieties. Would recommend it to everyone!

One of the best hotels to reside in Gangtok. It was the best hotel until today we had ever been to… scenic rooms, bathtub, great hospitality, excellent foods. Room wamer was made available… ambience excellent… its clean. Well maintained, a little garden in d hotel is really beautiful. Worth staying.

Really a awesome place with a bunch of wonderful staff. They will make you feel happy with their services & hostility. The food is also another reason you must visit their. They provide you with tasty & delicious food items. I loved it.

The resort is very good. Small and elegant. The staff is supportive. The food is great. Enjoyed all the dishes that was ordered during our stay of 4 nights. The drawback is the road and distance from Gangtok town. But people who needs good pampering would not mind it.

One of the best luxury places to stay in gangtok. A but far away from the city but delights you with scenary and it's resort-ish ambience. Summit Norling welcomes the guests with tea and a scarf. Rooms had everything you would expect from a 3 star hotel. The restaurant is decent (breakfast is Rich but lunch and dinner aren't that great). Room service and hospitality was excellent. Cons — water heater in some of the bathrooms aren't really effective for a full bath. The activity center (gym basically) just has two machines which just looks like a filler to it's amenities list.

Loved this resort… dreaming of getting there again. The memories are still fresh and best place to go for evening walk with your loved once while staying, road decorations are lovely. Service is really very good… and they arranged a lovely candle light dinner for us about which we talk till date. Wow! I would thank "PRAKRITI" for her awesome and warm service. We were late for dinner and still didn't hesitate to strech her shift time just to give us a jaw dropping candle light experience and made it memorable. They took care of each and every detail… Don't know why this resort has 4.1 stars where this should get at least 4.5. However, this place is appropriate for Honeymooners and not really a best option backpackers. Haters and stupid critics stay away. Thank you summit team for your service.

Well what to share I have not visited inside of the resort but I stay nearby resort. Good place to relax and can enjoy your vacation with fresh air and peace of mind. But like wise everything has a pros and cons connectivity or link road is not that we'll maintained rest you will enjoy for sure.

Great property! The attention to detail was very good and I did not find any reason to complain! From the room, to the amenities, to the restaurant food and courteous staff, all of them came together to make our stay very pleasant and memorable! Definitely a 5 star from me! We loved our stay in Sikkim because of this resort!

Hotel is outside the city. The view from the hotel is awesome. The rooms are good. The staff is friendly. The quality of food is also good. Good option for honeymoon couple.

Excellent place to stay. Overall needs little maintenance but the property is really cute and relaxing. They have an open fish pool too and nice big rooms with balconies providing nice views. Only negative is this place is far from M G Road. But on the flip side that provides a much needed relaxing ambience, if thats what you are looking for.

Nice location and beautiful property, bit away from the main city hub, but doesn't make any difference as one would take a taxi for going around places. You can come back after a full day and relax in the nature. One star less coz the bathrooms and not in a great shape…

Executive rooms are okay but suite rooms are wonderful.

Excellent hotel, excellent service, will come again and again…
