Seeking a restorative escape after exploration? Hotel Pine Crest in Pelling offers a tranquil retreat, strategically situated close to the town’s core. It provides a comfortable environment for travelers desiring a relaxed stay. The hotel features a variety of room types designed to cater to different needs and preferences, ensuring a pleasant experience for every guest.
I traveled from Siliguri to Pelling and stayed at this hotel for 20th May, 2026 night and checked out the next day and here is my experience so far. I traveled with my family here and it was a rough experience.
This hotel has many pros and cons:
CONS:
— The receptionist will never confirm the booking neither he will answer your calls if you decide to not take their offered driver for sightseeing.
— The washroom becomes clogged, need to flush using a bucket full of water xD.
— The receptionist will always say that no rooms are available here, it's peak season, (just to loot extra money from you)
— If you throw money at them they behave, otherwise don't even expect them to talk to you with decency.
— The receptionist told us that no rooms are available, but we had searched this hotel from booking. Com and booked it many days prior.
— Other than the receptionist everyone else will pick up your call to ask for driver and advanced payment, but no one will send you proper qr code to scan and pay if you refused to take their services.
— Anyways, a little exhibition of activism humbled them enough to let us stay for one night atleast.
— After we stayed in the hotel there was no electricity for most of the time but there was electricity on the other side of the road (atleast that's what the receptionist said xD). I barely had any charge left for my office meetings, had a tough time staying here.
