Jostel Hotel Valley View - Best View in Pelling

Rooms are good in condition.
Location is awasome.
TV is not working.

It is located in lower Pelling. Still you can have great mountain view from this hotel. Rooms are neat and clean. Foods on court are delicious. The behaviour of staffs are good.

I stayed in Hotel Valley View on 16th Nov 2025 with my students (33 nos. ). The manager Mr. Subba and other staff were highly courteous and supportive. In my personal experience, what make this hotel different is the warmth of staff, homely food and the view of Kanchenjunga from the room. Excellent service, value for money and beautiful location…

We came for an educational trip as a group and the service and food was so good. Though we stayed for just one day and but if someone come here need to stay for more than that.

Sunil Chhetri he is very polite and sincere and good sorover.
Prakash sir is also very kind and supportive and honest person.
And whole management team was very kind and hardworking.
I want to thank all of them with my bottom of heart ❤️

Rude host bad rooms washroom choked room 505 where we stayed had broken tiles, not clean at all linen was not changed had lipstick mark on towel.

Very bad experience, washroom was choked despite that did not change room or gave other room for bathing etc. Room was extremely bad condition. No functional restaurant. Very rude host. Horrible experience.

Absolutely amazing experience stay in this hotel. Amezing view of Kanchanjanga mountain. Full value of money. Very nice service.

We visited this hotel on 29th May for one night. The location is extremely superb. View from the top floor is mesmerizing. More then 180 degree open view of mountains. We got superb View of Kanchanjanga from the terrace or from the room. Food was very tasty and service was very good. Staff was very co operative. Having breakfast and dinner here gives you feel of luxury restaurant.
One must visit this hotel for great hospitality and mesmerizing View of Kanchanjanga. You can view snow pick mountain of Kanchanjanga from your room window having cup of tea in your hand with your loved ones.

This is not a hotel I feel rather its a hostel.
Pros : View.
Cons : 1) Timing for every event (breakfast starts at 8:30 am, time to show up to hotel is 9:30 pm)
2) Food is measured and given to you (only 1 roti in meal, 2 aloo parathas in breakfast)

Hotel is located at lower pelling, but one can easily take a walk to upper pelling. Rooms have good views. Hot water is available for 24 hours. Food served was good.

The hotel offers wonderful views of the kanchenjunga range right from its room windows.
The staff is extremely warm and cordial. The rooms are super clean, running hot water is available, Wi-Fi is excellent.
The kitchen provides wonderful food from a wide ranging menu.
There's absolutely nothing to complain about this stay.

With beautiful view of Kanchenjunga in Pelling this hotel very good. I enjoyed my stay with wonderful views, food and very supportive staff. I recommend this hotel if you travelling to Pelling.

I have a mixed review for this location.
The Good — the view from the hotel is good. The staff, especially Prakash is very helpful. They were quick to help us with all our concerns.
The Bad — the hotel infra is crumbling. This feels like a very old hotel. The breakfast is not unlimited but capped for every guest. Like 2 paranthas or one Sandwich or 4 pooris. Cleanliness at the restaurant can be improved.
The Average — food was average. Dinner was better than breakfast.
