Dear Hotel Authority.
This is to inform you that I have booked Hotel Durga, Angul for 1 night stay for official purpose on 22.08.2025. Before the booking I called the reception on 21.08.2025 and enquired whether they allow 24 hr check in. Based on confirmation I have booked through corporate website. But to my utter surprise on reaching the hotel on 22.08.2025 the reception people denied a room and it was a extreemly unprofessional behviour. The Hotel cannot have a different policy for online corporate bookings. Request the concerned authority to llok into the issue and take necessary action please. Since I visit Angul quite often, neither I will book this hotel in future and nor recomend to any of our corporate guest.

Good hotel with car parking facility n on the main road. Food is very good and service is excellent. Value for money is guaranteed…

Worst hotel in angul but price is very high. ₹3000 rooms are like 1000 room and very dirty bed condition and floor. Washington is horrible… Overall experience is bad.

I have stayed here for the past one week and feel my stay is comfortable. The rooms are kept clean and in oder. Service is very good. Location easily reachable from Angul railway station and bus stand. Food provided is nice and tasty. A little improvement needed to keep the balconies clean. Ideal for visitors and tourists to stay.

Good Budget hotel good staff behaviour they also have a good conference hall.

Very worst experience from the hotel and the staff, sewage water is coming from the wash, and no any negotiation done by the staff, and not take any action against it after complaining them.
My opinion kindly ignore this hotel for stay.

Deluxe room was not cleaned. Loud noise from AC. Unable to sleep. Somewhere we feel like it is guesthouse only. Breakfast is also ok ok.

I recently stayed at Hotel Durga in Angul, and my experience was less than satisfactory. While the hotel's location is quite good, providing easy access to nearby areas, the condition of the rooms is a major letdown. The rooms are extremely old and outdated, clearly in need of significant renovation. From the furniture to the fixtures, everything felt worn out and far from comfortable.
The food was decent, nothing spectacular but acceptable for a short stay. The service was also okay, but I encountered an unfortunate scenario during check-out. Due to a miscommunication (or perhaps lack of communication) with the hotel staff, I ended up paying for an extra day, which was quite frustrating.
Overall, the state of the rooms is pretty bad, and unless the hotel takes steps to refurbish the interiors, I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone seeking a comfortable stay.

Strictly average but compared to others it's better. Food is good but overall lodging & boarding experience is not value for money. Especially the room qualities.

Wrist hotel ever, don’t go here, they charges extra money, and they don’t know how to behave with a customer. Hotel dekha jauchi bhala but in ground totally zero.

Worst Hotel. Rooms are dirty. Flush not working. AC not working. U don't even have a towel, u have to request. Reception service is pathetic. Wardrobes are dirty n nobody bothers to clean. Tv not connected with dth service. Again had to request to start the service. Overall a hell lot of issues. Rather you stay at a lodge with 1/4th price and having the same facilities like this hotel.

Food price was very high and ambience of hotel was not good and room chages Are also very high.

Comfortable… decent rooms. Quite clean and hygienic. Quick service. Good behaviour of all staff. Special attraction is food… it's fantastic!

Worst hotel, worst management!
I had the most pathetic experience with this hotel.
I chose this hotel for my marriage function, which was the worst decision of my life.
Inspite of having newly renovated rooms, The management purposely offered the worst rooms to harass my guests.
When they got to know we don’t have many male members in the family and being a girl I was handling everything they increased price on many things and weren’t helpful. They did not provide the complimentary room that they promised. They charged a lot of extra money from my father at the payment time. I was disgusted by all the behaviour of management and staff. Even though the food was good, I won’t recommend this hotel to anyone ever.

Avoid this hotel like a plague. It's a ramshackle place run by a bunch of novices. I am certain they have not carried out any maintenence since it was inaugurated. Terminates in room. Not a single fixture in bathroom works. You would be lucky is rhe had shower does not dintegrate and head shower falls on your head. A/ C is in far paaage of the room and does not help all besides makes so. Much sound you cannot sleep. Absolutely hopeless. Forget egt free ecen if they pay you do not stay here. Sleeping on the road outside is cleaner and healthier. Owners or mangers missing. Understandable with a slum like tbis how will they fa e customers all the time?

Good service. No compromise.
