Zostel Rishikesh Hotel

Best place o be in Rishikesh! Shashi (manager) was just so helpful infact I forgot my credit card there while checking out and e came to auto stand to hand me over! This was so nice of him! Felt like home.

Best place for travellers to reside. Reservations are better to be done before arriving. Nice place to hangout. Place has everything you need, a table tennis to play, roof top restaurant to eat, books to read and located near to the main road. Parking is full everytime by the visitors. Food is comparatively OK. They guide you with place to visit also they book river rafting.

Absolutely loved it! The dorms are very clean and well maintained. The crowd is good. There are a lot of entertainment facilities and events. Staff is helpful and friendly. Parking is a bit limited but you'll find a spot by night atleast. Location is good, away from the crowded centre but not too far also.

Nice hostel with friendly people and lots of common space, including an AC room that you can use before/after check in/out. Nice roof. Food just ok. Power goes out a lot, but that seems to be par for the course.

This place is average in terms of cleanliness and efficiency. Although the place is affordable and hygenic — — as Zostel properties are — — I found the vibe at Zostel Rishikesh akin a drug den. Weird, doped-out faces hang out at the reception, giving the space a feel of a drug den. Otherwise, the property is pretty huge with a restaurant on the first floor.

Perfect stay. Clean and hygienic as well for people sceptical about how it would be to share dorms with strangers. However, it would also depend on whom you're sharing the space with; but the staff keeps the area and washrooms clean. We loved the roof top restaurant, attributing to the amazing food and staff. Would recommend booking in advance as the place is always full on weekends.

Good place! You meet a variety of people to interact with in the common areas. Good rooms although if you are willing to stay here. You should book early as they fill up very fast. Cheers!

I stayed here with 3 of my friends. For the price point, this place is a luxury. You get all the amenities that are included. The staff is friendly. You can cook your own meals but the food here is too good. You will love the crowd. You meet amazing people here from around the world. Service was top class. Best Place for Budget Backpackers. The hostel is great and comfortable in terms of bed and services. Though they miss the atmosphere one expects from a backpackers rest house. Proper common area would help to develop that aura.

I loved the hospitality here. The people are really friendly and amazing here. Got a chance to mix up with variety of people from various walks of life. Another great thing about Zostel is the events they organise during your stay. The NYE party was a pleasant surprise. The yoga classes, cooking classes, Henna classes, sunrise trips, adventure trips etc.

Wonderful place for solo travellers. Rooms are neatly maintained, they organise bonfire with music every night on terrace. It's nice place to make new friends.

Really nice budget place to stay! On the main highway so it's easy to spot as well. If you rent a bike all the major locations are easily accessible. Helpful and friendly staff will help you plan out your day and give you some great suggestions as well. Super chill roof top restaurant, recommend to have the breakfast out there to start your day. Basic rooms do not expect something fancy. Greatful painting on all the walls of the zostel. Great place to meet fellow travelers as well.

An amazing place to stay. Feels like home. It has a cafeteria, gaming zone and hangout zone. The roof is an awesome place to hangout and has bonfore also. The cost is also 399 per day only. The staff is very cooperative. They also helped organising my friends birthday there. Overall a great experience.

The rooms are good, the dorms are great. You get to meet a lot of people from all backgrounds and have a good time. The food isn't the best but it's not that bad either. They have a really good hangout zone where you can play a bunch of board games.

Wonderful place to stay for backpackers and solo travellers. It just cost you around ₹500 for a day stay. You share your room usually with other travellers. Bathroom is common. There is a restaurant at the top of building. They have an open space to sit at the top of building with nice cushions. There offer many activities too which you could go if you are interested like river rafting, yoga, cooking classes. They also provides bike for rental. Staff is friendly and approachable. There is separate small cupboards also which you could use even after checking out if you wish to be in that place for some more time. Overall a nice experience.

The website pictures and the actual deal are poles apart. This property is dilapidating and damp throughout. The caretakers are doing a shabby job protecting the rooms/ bathrooms and everything else. We have had much better experiences in budgeted stays in hostels before where housekeeping was proactive and caring. This was just a very bad experience. Private Rooms are cramped and bathrooms are bad. Even the door locks are broken! ULTIMATELY, WE CUT SHORT OUR STAY. The only part we liked was the humble restaurant that serves great food for the pricing. Being a "hostel" is no excuse to live dirty. Up your game Zostel.

The staff are great to hang out with and super helpful. The 8 bed dorm is really spacious and each bed has an outlet and lamp. Plus lots of comfy space to hang out and activities run by the hostel. Fantastic place overall.

A perfect stay and experience, from the haunting tones of jazz music in the night to the pop indie numbers that make your feet tap to the silence of the day break. The soft beds that r a cloud to sleep on, to the warm and friendly staff. In all a awesome experience for my first time solo trip! You guys rock!

First time we have chosen zostel n it was a great experience, good service, food was also good in taste… Ambience we like … Shacks area was amazing for chit chat and some photography. We booked a private room, just fridge was not there and mirror in the room which was an inconvenience for us. On and all a great place to stay with reasonable prices.

Staying at Zostel was a great experience. Nice hospitality and stay was filled with all the required comforts. You don't have to roam here and there for small small things. Rafting, Bungy jumping, Rent a bike all you can get at one place.

Very friendly and accommodating. They let us sleep in the lounge when they didn't have any last minute rooms available. Brought us an extra bed for our group of three. Helped me book my bus ticket to Dharamsala and get a rickshaw to the bus station.

Budget dorms for solo /couple travelers. The cafe is nice but the common hangout area is very small. The staff is very nice and pose multiple talents.

They woke me up to make me change rooms to accommodate others at a knife's edge. It's hard to go through an argument half asleep with the manager of a boarding who is willing to throw you out for a larger booking. I don't wanna go through this ever again.

Awesome hostel in great location up to great standards of cleanness and organization! The guys at the reception are super-friendly and helpful. Its an amazing place where to meet like minded fellow travelers and get new friends. You never know what to expect when you wake up, maybe the same day you finish by crazy and friendly Indian Punjami dancing on the rooftop! Wifi is not very fast but you get it in most of the places, otherwise the rooms are cleaned everyday, there is a wide range of activities the hostel offers, also a small but effective common cooking space which works great. Thanks for the awesome stay!

There were lots of murals on the hotel walls producing nice vibes and holiday-like ambience. The restaurant had okay-ish food at reasonable rates. The roof of the hotel was well arranged for recreational activities. Excellent scenic view. At night we played cards on the roof. Also great environment to do yoga in the morning. I stayed in an 8-seater bedroom. It had one bathroom. It was air conditioned. Locker was provided to each occupant. Good for peeps who want a good place to spend the night. I had a overall nice stay.

Zostel Rishikesh is surprisingly very spacious & provides all necessary facilities. Rooms are available under various categories, such as, Single, 4 Bed dorm, 6 bed dorm, etc. Also, they take their job of keeping the place clean very seriously. The only problem I faced was the quality of taste of food available here. I would recommend to chose some other restaurants for all your meals.
