If you wish to enjoy Rishikesh' nature to the fullest, Bunk stay is the place for you, staff is extremely co-operative, clean rooms, and the bonus point is elegant rooftop cafe, great for work, great for an enjoyment. I strongly recommend everyone to come here and feel the difference. :)

The beautiful view from the terrace and the great food at the rooftop cafe, along with the courteous staff. But, the cleanliness and the view takes it all.

One of the best hostels in Rishikesh. I'll start with the location, the place is just as close to the Laxman Jhula and the main market as it can be, yet it's so secluded and peaceful being that the other side is Rajaji forest area. The cafe on the rooftop is simply superb, I remember every single night we spent there. It was a different experience and a unique conversation everytime we went to sit there. Last thing is with all these things, the price is just like any hostel which makes the place completely pocket-friendy as well.

Its good but no dedicated parking. You need to park by road side. Single water cooler at ground floor.

Literally the BEST thing to happen to Rishikesh. Secluded hotel but far away from the action. Amazing options and costs to stay. Food is excellent. The cafe upstairs is just as great! The staff is amazing. Legit favourite.

Awesome place to stay in Rishikesh for solo or even group travellers. Budget friendly, comfortable stay. Rooftop restaurant is absolutely amazing, with great views and absolutely delicious food. A definite must visit place, and truly stay the night here, you won't regret it.

One of the best places I stayed in rishikesh. The founder, Sandeep is a not only an extremely good host but also a great man by heart. The staff is very hospitable. Cleanliness, quality of beds, food at rooftop cafe is all good.

The awesomeness about this place starts when you take uphill stairs to climb up the gates of this hostel. Located right in the front of Lakshman Jhula, this hostel offers some amazing moments for your comfort. The rooms are tidy, neatly maintained, well lit, provides hot water in bathrooms and a locker to keep your baggage safe. Check in time is 12 pm. So if you reach early you can always cherish the food and beverages served in the canteen located on top floor. You can spend your evening time in the canteen with a sprawling view of the city and cool breeze. The best part is scenic view of river Ganges and mountains from the balcony! :)

One of the best hostels for solo travellers. If are travelling solo or with a friend and you want to spend more time outdoor and less in room this is the best place. Very much under the pocket budget and nearby to all the places you would like to visit in rishikesh.

The best view of Rishikesh can be witnessed from their rooftop. The hostel is well maintained, lots of art and scribbles on the walls. You will definitely cherish your stay at Bunk Stay.

Nice hostel for those travelling solo as well as in group, very reasonable price for the offered hygienic amenities and healthy breakfast. Rooftop cafeteria is the section of this hostel where you will going to be spend most of the time of yours, gives delightful view to your eyes of Laxman Jhula and Ganges. and they serve very fresh and healthy breakfast.

It's a bunk bed based dorm. Maintained clean and neat, but too expensive for a bunk stay. Is a little less accessible compared to the alternatives and has a wee bit of climb to reach there, something to factor in cold nights. It's located on the other side (the inaccessible from vehicle side) of the lakshman jhula.

The best friendly staff to make you feel like you are at home. They have one of the best hospitality to offer to their guest.

This place, it was like a home for me during my stay in Rishikesh. The hospitality of the staff is so good, they will help you with every problem you come across, just ask them. I went there in the winters, the bedsheet and the quilt were pure white and neat and clean. The bathrooms are of the highest standards. There is a cafe on top floor of the building with some open space as well. Long story short, just experience staying at this place for once if you are in Rishikesh, it will surely be an experience worth sharing.

Dorms are nice. Backpackers would love it. Courteous staff, helped us in booking activities and transportation as well. The rooftop cafe and bonfire at night are amazing too.

Always my first preference whenever I am in rishikesh. I have lost the count how many times I have been here, I think it's sums it all about my review. Great location very next to Lakshmanjhula. It's a Best happening place for any backpacker. Comfy Bunk beds, budget rooms with all facilities, live music, Adventure activities, rooftop cafe with amazing Rishikesh view with a young, energetic and friendly staffs.

Very cooperative and friendly staff. Clean and organized dorms. Cafe on terrace, that although has a limited menu but serves some fresh and light breakfast dishes, that I personally really enjoyed having every morning. All in all, a good choice if looking for hostels in laxman jhula.

Best deal for the price I paid for. Loved the roof top restaurant and the view of rishikesh from there. Few issues includes basic maintenance which is leaking comod and cobweb in bathroom.

Awesome experience. The rooms were clean and the staff was helpful even when we reached at 5 in the morning. The cafe upstairs has a good vibe and good food.
This is by far my best stay in Rishikesh and the prices for the dorms are great for anyone traveling on a budget (especially students).

The best place to stay for backpackers. You will be hosted by the two most awesome people. I took a solo trip to Rishikesh and was fortunate to stay here. I took a female dorm, which was pretty reasonable. The rooftop view is amazing and the best part if you get to hangout with people from different parts of the world. The owners are extremely friendly, and you almost feel like leaving a family, when you say goodbye to the place. The owners would introduce you to the most exotic and unexplored places in Rishikesh and that's the best part about this place. I literally owe it to them for making my trip the most exciting one.

Very quiet place. Pretty simple and good rooms. A lot of interesting comments are written by previous visitors on their walls, its fun to read them. A little high on price and you may find cheaper alternatives.

If u r going in your college group n wants to have unlimited fun in hotel as well, bunkstay is d place. Its a hostel, great food, great view, great staff.

Nice hostel on the other side of the river. It's up a lot of stairs so if you have reduced mobility then stay away. The rooms are big and comfortable and the roof deck offer spectacular views of the Ganges and footbridge. The only issue would be the restaurant on the top floor I would say needs to open a little earlier for breakfast. Take the rafting tour from the front desk it was great.

Best and cheapest place to stay in rishikesh, if you are looking something ganga side. There is a cafe on the roof top where you can play music, sit for hours on bean bags, play carom, poker, monopoly etc. The food is quite blend, but its hygienic and good.

It's the best place to stay in Rishikesh with all the facilities and great ambience. Close to the temples and shopping lanes. Reasonable accommodation with modern facilities. This place has a garden restaurant with a decent menu card. Feel bored? Grab a guitar and entertain yourself while admiring the view from the top. Coffee and tea are not great. Food is good.

For Hospice is very cool. Hot water, Wi-Fi, very friendly guys at the reception. In the evenings, people gather on the roof to sit, chat, play poker, but with me, they were all English-speaking.

Rishikesh is the perfect place to start your journey through India. After three days of Delhi you learn to enjoy the Indian life here. If you live in the BunkStay, you can concentrate entirely on getting to know the new culture and do not have to worry about your accommodation. One returns to a tidy, clean room that has its own charm through wood and a little color. You will get an incredible view over the aisles and Rishikesh. If not from the room window, then at breakfast on the roof terrace. At night you sleep quietly and in the cool, with the sounds of the jungle behind the house. To be explored free of charge in the company of the BunkStay people: small and large waterfalls, a village on the mountain… Moreover, all are friendly and are on hand to answer any questions (whether it is a train ticket, laundry or Indian food) with advice and good English.
