Felt warmth to be there… staff is really efficient & will not disturb you & complete it's work quietly.

I always stay at this hotel, of course because the hotel is lovely but mainly because of the staff who are so attentive and caring. The service is top notch. Thanks Iren.

Hotel service is very good. There is a family and friend atmosphere. Where else do I feel relaxed. That's why I do my business meeting in Lalit only.

I have celebrated mom birthday I have tried 2 snacks one was imly tandoori aloo that's was nice and second I have paneer tikka the paneer was too hard to chew and in main course I ordered 2 things one dal baluchi it's was too good and one I had ordered paneer labadar and same problem paneer was too hard and service need to improve it take alot time to come.

The hotel is good but you cant trust the security of the hotel as the hotel cleaning staff is not trustworthy because my 15, 000rs Apple airpods2 was removed from my backpack on 3rd March 2022 from the hotel room. And even after making the complain the hotel is not giving me any compensation on the same. They are not ready to accept the fact the their cleaning staff has done this theft. One of the staff has remove the airpods from my case cover took it. I didnt expected this kind of behaviour from a Five star hotel. So anyone staying there keep your stuff safely and dont leave it inside your bags.

Fantastic location. The breakfast is ok as well. However the front desk are extremely poor in service and their attitude needs to be addressed for the better. Many times I approached them and was never acknowledged by any of the front desk. I pointed this out and it felt like I was talking to a brick wall so I walked away! I was also given incorrect info regarding my bill. Very very basic errors. Don’t think I will be booking again although it could get better… who knows?!?!?

This is a wonderful place because of few people like Ms Nisha and Mr Akash Saxena (the duty manager) and few more. There were some troubles the day we checked it but everything was set right in a couple of hours. Strongly recommend the place, great service nd commitment from the staff! well done … I take my complaints back and am looking forward to the next time I visit.

Have stayed in quite a no. Of hotels but never felt so at home… Coming back to the place of my school and college days, my second home, New Delhi and again being at The Lalit with their more than helpful staff from House Keeping to Front Desk To The Concierge and Restaurant staff, I couldn't have ask for more.

Disgusting irs… Anurag Chauhan the Duty Manager at Lalit Cp Delhi just was rude and unethical… He not only refused to render service but also told me im not authorised to give my name. This is not what I expected from such a renowned HOTeL Lalit. Never ever had this experience in mumbai. This wasnt expected from Lalit at Cp New Delhi. Sorry but the duty manager not only refused the service but also disappeared abruptly without even uttering a word Of sorry. I would like to raise this complaint. And hope necessary actions is taken against this person.

One of the worst experiences. The attitude of the staff is extremely rude. The girl sarita should not be an employee of the hotel. It’s catered for non Indians. Won’t be going there again. Just the exact opposite of the lalit Chandigarh.

The check in and check out process is a breeze. The room is clean and well equipped for comfort. I had a pleasant stay here. The hotel is located close to Connaught Place, with walkable access to many watering holes and shops. The hospitality is excellent and the staff ensure they are prompt in meeting your request. Overall a great place to stay when in Delhi.

One of the best services among many top hotels of India. Food is really awesome. Despite a 5 star experience I had in most of the areas of hospitality the towels were old and so was the most of the things in the room. Ceiling in the shower not too enticing and taps n shower were dingy and discolored. However everything was squeaky clean and I would rate it 5 out of 5 when it comes to clean. Service was a bit too late and electrical outlets were old and I had to call someone just to plug in my charger. Remote to TV not clean and many needed buttons didn't work. Everything a bit too expensive despite all the downsides even Taj has better prices on everything I must say. All in all a rooting tooting experience. I would recommend it to all my friends and family for sure.

This hotel is one of the very best in Delhi. The staff are incredibly, helpful and alway smiling. The selection of food at breakfast is incredible. The staff made my birthday very special. The cocktail are expensive. One of the best hotel experiences I have had in all my travels.

The hotel is luxurious. It is at Connaught place which makes it easily approachable. Its no doubt very costly. A high profile place to have conferences and seminars. Food is very good and lot of varieties are there. It's worth the price.

A truly five star hotel, very up to date in technology, your room key card will only open on the floor where your room is; the staff are dedicated to help. The rooms are spacious clean and comfortable. The hotel is situated at a five minutes walk from a nearby shopping center. Breakfast is decent and varied. The concierge will help you in anything you ask for. Very nice hotel to stay in.

The hotel was clean and well air conditioned. Event was a great success there. They provided enough space for that event to be held and we were totally comfortable. Overall its a good hotel for good services.

Worse experience I have ever had in a five star hotel. During our stay the lobby was infested with mosquitoes. Got bitten quite a few times. This should simply not happen in an air conditioned building. Delhi is also not a safe city for girls. And it was ridiculous to realise that some of the staff of the hotel would be inappropriately checking out girls who would wear a knee length dress in the hotel. This was outrageous. All in all. I would not recommend anyone to go to the Lalit Delhi.

One of those places where they want to keep prices really high for people to perceive it is a 5 star. I think it is 3 star hotel at max. Staff should change all towels in this hotel. Rooms are dated and were never properly cleaned (both in ours and parents room) Breakfast is good but bar is overly priced. I wont stay again and spend my money in a new, clean hotel. Lalit documentary and worshiping him is hilarious.

I stayed at the Lalit New Delhi on Apr 27-02 May 2018. The hotel upgraded our original reservation without change in cost and we ended up staying in two adjoining rooms which provided a huge space for our family. The hotel and staff were lovely, the rooms exceeded our expectations and the location and view were amazing. It was really one of the best hotels we have stayed at! While we would definitely go back based on our experience, I had another experience last night which makes me even more sure. I can't express how thankful I am to them nor what incredible staff they have. This really went above and beyond and I am so appreciative. I had to write this review because of this (and I don't normally write reviews). We will definitely be back!

My first 5star experience, still one of my favorite. Huge spread of breakfast and dinner. Efficient room service and lively ambience. This is centrally located happening place. Have stayed in most Lalits but it's still my favorite.

Hotel is in a great location, but I would not give this facility 5 starts at all. Rooms are old, water don’t work, and construction noise right above my room, Which they did take care of after few hours. People visiting from overseas should be accommodated in a peaceful location, because our sleep time is different for at least a day.

Excellent location spacious rooms is a 5star hotel. Food here is delicious and service is polite and prompt. Nice ambience good place to stay with all facilities in house. This is now known as Lalit before it was affiliated with Hilton and many other chains. This place was built long time back but well maintained.

Good service but needs an urgent remodeling. Something old.
Watch out for the exchange rate only accept new dollars! A lot of rules in these hotels and you go out into the street and it's chaos! That's if they charge like in the First world!

Great staff, great service. Lovely amenities, very clean rooms and very spacious. Staff are very helpful and friendly, always attentive. Great food and a variety of options available. All food is hot on the buffet, no stale or cold options left out. Very prestigious inside, especially the lifts in reception, they are amazing! Would definitely highly recommend!

So the hotel is Central and in a great location, with a decent rooftop pool and a great gym. I was quite happy with the service in the hotel, and probably would stay again. While at the hotel I was participating in a conference, and I have to say I was very disappointed with the food. Lunch and dinner both had a very cafeteria feel to them, and if it had not been so expensive I would have understood. Overall otherwise a decent hotel and would stay again.

I was here for a 2 day conference. The space was nice, with very good catered lunches (but not as good dinners). Good facilities and service and okay sounds system. Free Wi-Fi didn't really work — and required an Indian phone number. Nice rooftop pool area to hang out at, but like most conference rooms — they are windowless. It's a pretty quick ride from the metro.

Checked in on the Christmas Eve Day with restaurant only serving buffet Christmas Eve dinner also with unlimited drink — wine, beer, vodak, whisky and you name it until 11:30 pm. Just walking & sitting down to enjoy it. Probably the buffet dinner of the year, the variety of fine food catering for people from all over the world. Seafood, caviar sushi, made or cooked to your order. Western food, oriental, local or Thai, all for you to choose. It seems everyone is having a good Christmas Eve dinner. Staff at various positions are all friendly and helpful. A high standard service is consistently maintained. Clean & sophisticated room, though a bit dated, is very comfy with the delighted early morning newspaper delivery hanging outside your room handle. Hotel breakfast is superb both for food and service. Will come back again.

Hotel Lalit is very lively and centrally located in Connaught place though Barakhamba road left turn at red light. Go below fly over on left. Close to New Delhi railway station and metro line to airport. Well behaved understanding staff, cozy helpful atmosphere. Good audio visual aids projectors etc in halls. Multiple halls available which can be joined to enlarge in size. Good variety of food.

Nice place to stay of your in New Delhi. Very close to most major shopping areas and restaurants. Security is tight but very polite. Was always greeted very warmly by all staff regardless of them seeing me for several days. Having visited most parts of the world and staying in all types of hotels, you can always tell when staff is just doing it for work or if it's genuine.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They provide you with everything you need. There was a problem with our shower when we first arrived however they sent a plumber to fix it straight away. Nice clean spacious rooms and bathroom. The facilities are also good I particularly liked using the gym it had a good variety of equipment.

Super hotel with good staff. Lovely breakfast spread. Very clean n up to date rooms with latest equipments, tea making kettle. They have choices of pillow for the comfort of guests. Rates r on a higher side, but then their service is also such.

It is an excellent hotel in Delhi. The service here is superb. The staff are courteous and go out of the way to make your stay comfortable at the hotel. The food is awesome. Chef is ever ready to make a dish out of the menu to serve you as per your requirement. The swimming pool is temperature controlled.

Very good stay for business travel. Location is amazing, minutes from the subway. Attentiveness to guests is five star. Checked in at midnight — got room service dinner at 1 am, and the concierge got me an iron at 2 am so I could "prepare" for my next day's meetings. The breakfast buffet is outstanding.

The Lalit Hotel is very approachable as it is right on Barakhamba Road. The Metro Station is right beside it and it is right beside Connaught Place market. 5 Star Hotel with 5 Star Services. Great place for functions and conventions.

It's a good hotel. The security is tight. So they check the cars and handbags every single time someone comes in. It'll be great for a week stay. I was here for three weeks and after a while I got quite bored. Since it's a business hotel there're no coffee shops or recreational places as such in it. The pool is good and the buffet food is delicious.

I have been there a couple of times to see and stay with friend and his family who were there for a vacation trip to the city. The suites are large enough and classically done, The room service is good and ambience is classy, as expected of a niche property like this. All the other facilities associated with a five star property are there — although Ii didn't get a chance to use any of them personally. The food we asked to be served in the rooms was decent enough.

Well managed and maintained property. The top floor restaurants are definitely amongst my favorite places to eat. Ask the staff at woks if they have fresh duck, and if they do, go for Peking duck in plum sauce! It's fab. The rooms sometimes suffer from service issues. Undergoing maintenance operations I think. But whatever, I'd rather eat here than stay.

Limitless Hospitality … literally My stay in New Delhi at the Lalit was a very memorable one. Be it the staff, facility or the service — it was top class. From the time I landed till I flew back, they saw to that I was at home and comfortable in every possible way. I loved the ambience and their location made it easy to reach them from anywhere in the city. Their complimentary morning breakfast was a multi-cuisine fare and had something for everyone. The evening Tea served at the lovely Chinese restaurant was energizing, at the same time relaxing. This restaurant in one of the top floors also housed a pond with beautiful goldfishes. From here I was able to have a birds eye view of New Delhi. More than anything it was the human touch that mattered the most and everyone of the staff where extremely helpful and truly patient. This was one place that truly lived up to its motto — "Limitless Hospitality".

It was A great one through every day it was a pleasare to have so good staf I loved the food but u could improve it.

I was there for the Internet Marketing Conference. Place is so good there is no doubt, but I have paid 5000 INR for the Conference which includes Lunch. The lunch which was served to us was so poor, Rice was not cooked well. Overall experience was good.

I had very bad experience at Lalit NEW Delhi on my recent stay from 13-17th April. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as there attitude towards their clients sucks and specially business people should avoid this place as they don’t value time at all
I list the sequence of events
1.13th April checked n quite smoothly no issues there
2. There was issue with service form day 1, had to call 2 to 3 times for ironing board and iron and also water, Each time at breakfast time at coffee shop there would be a queue of 25 to 45 people, like people waiting for a bus to get a table that would take anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes as very limited tables and chairs are around
3. On 16th I had accidently put on donot disturb switch ON, so the room was not at all cleaned, I Came back at 8.00 in the night and was very tired, I was roaming around all over old delhi in formals and it was very very hot, I had to go out again at 8.30 for another meeting, I called up housekeeping to make my room, I called atleast 8 times from 8.00 to 8.24 and finally someone came in, I wanted to talk to duty manager and tried again 12 times but there was no answer on Emergency button as well as no one was answering my calls, I called 317 the duty manager 3 times but no one was picking up the phone.

One of the worst experience I had. It was a stopover for me. The cooling in the room was so bad even after choosing 10 degree it felt as if we are in 30. Even the perso came to check the ac could not do anything. You don't expect such things from such hotels. I will recommend goto any hotel but this one… Can only showoff but can't deliver… worst worst experience…

Definitely not a five star hotel with respect to services. Rooms are generally good I had a problem with water leakage from the AC. Wifi to my surprise was good. Even for changing my reservation dates, I had to write to them multiple times. My package included 15% Food and soft Beverage discount but I had to tell them everytime that please include the discount and then they modified the bill.

Centrally located hotel with very nice rooms. My room was the King bed and it was very comfortable. Really good on site facilities and plenty of restaurants to choose from. The outdoor pool is great for a dip in the Delhi heat. Didn't try the spa but would love to if I had the time. It is good value for the quality you get.

Worst for family stay. People don't care about advance booking requests and repeated requests. If you want a comfortable stay for your children, do not even think of LALIT. Thanks Jayesh V B for listening and understanding the inconvenience caused to the children. I'm satisfied with the resolution given.

I stayed there with my family for 6 days from 27th Dec. 2015 till 1st Jan. 2016. We arrived at the hotel about 1.15 PM. On arrival we were shocked that we were allocated basic very unpleasent rooms, when we have already paid for club class. We took this with the reception but there was no respectable response. We were messed around for three and half hours before a manager managed to get us accomodation. All was paid in June 2015. We had three young children with us. They had no respect who you were! The service at the hotel is aweful. We had three rooms, all had problems, either lights not working, showers blocked or taps were on the loose. We had to call maintance every other day. It is most horrific experience we had. I and my family had stayed there before, last time in 2003 when it was called Inter continental, we thought it was ok. This place has gone down hill. It has no character or feel for some one to enjoy a day in its residence. We were too pleased to check out. I will not reccomend any one to stay there. a big building without any life.

Overrated hotel; It presents itself as an excellent hotel but in reality the rooms are not clean and the entire complex is not too well kept. The Wi-Fi (which became something I expect — especially in a hotel in such a huge city) is terrible; that you pay or get the 1h free tear is just awful. I cannot suggest this hotel.

Overrated, not worth 5 stars at all. Bathroom full of limestone, shower barely usable due to that, water not warm enough, lots of noise during the night with the near railroad (and trains blowing horns like crazy all night long). Not enough room on the breakfast room, you're lucky if they make you eat at the same table as a complete stranger…

I stayed at The Lalit for 4 days and 5 nights.
Advantages — Location of the hotel, hospitality of a few staff members — the people at concierge, Dosa served during the breakfast and Baluchi restaurant — staff, food and a special mention to the chef at the Baluchi, he took super care of the food I got to eat and suggested me very well.
Disadvantages — I have a plethora of negatives to mention which I had experienced during my stay at your hotel… extremely Below average food at the 24 x 7 restaurant and an equally sad response by the chef for giving the feedback on the spot. My first meal/dinner itself at 24 X 7 started off with a terrible experience, the tangdi kabab or murgh malai kabab… I dont exactly rem the name but the chicken was totallllly rawwww inside… not even half cooked… totally raw which was disgustin… the manager acknowledged and replaced it with Pizza which wasn't even a tad better than the earlier dish! My second visit for dinner at 24 X7 … and I had invited a friend along with me… the foood dint get any better and had informed the chef that it was tasteless… paneer was lying there cold and wasnt being replaced… we gave the feedback to which the chef instantaneously replied saying that the taste of the food depends on the tastebud's of the individual and followed it up by mentioning that we were unable to tell him specifying the spice that was misssing… commmendable reply.!
