Excellent room. Feels like I am in midst of a royal room. All wooden furniture.
Toilets are well furnished.
Food is good.

No one picks the calls at the reception, breakfast takes eternity to be served. The bedsheets aren’t changed throughout the duration of the stay.

Recently I stay in this hotel highwinds it's very good place no sounds of car and quiet full place it's very good and the hotel room are also good and service also good and staff are friendly and proved good service. I can't wait for visiting again.

Good Hotel in Shillong, The staff is also good & polite. The Manager Ms. Florence is very helpful and supportive.

This is a pathetic place. Never stay at this place. I had booked it for 3 days. They gave a shaggy room which not not clean at all. The bedsheets were so dirty that we couldn't sleep on that. My family got rashes in all over body. Since we reached in the evening we didn't have a choice. Next morning, we cut short our stay in this place and moved to another place. There's is no way to give zero rating. Otherwise, I would have given zero rating.

Mr. Bappan Das had supported my Guests with True spirit attending Guest with warm welcome, Rooms were clean, tidy, Breakfast meals were up to the mark. Rooms with multiple option consisting of Double, Triple Duplex, Family Suite 4 Bedded and moreover services were prompt. Location bit hefty but ok for Car parking with limited space.
Overall Good Hotel and Services for Individual and Family one can rely with competitive prices.

One star also not good for this hotel. We have stayed one day here. Geyser won’t work properly too much cold… they denied to give heater. After arguing they provided one heater but won’t work properly with 7-8 degrees temperature, you won’t get sleep….
Strongly recommended to “DONT STAY HERE”. The receptionist very arrogant and not friendly. Wifi won’t work nor landline. Won’t respond your queries.

The service at this hotel was incision, making me feel truly pampered. I felt like a valued guest from the moment I arrived. A seamless experience thanks to Mr das that anticipated our every need… 😊

Firstly I will say that I love the atmosphere full of flowers fresh air best canteen spot near the clinic and the overwhelm service by the manager, I love the food and especially when someone suggest me some kind of new items I love it. The perfect friendly place for family friends and every one because if suddenly anything happens the clinic and the doctor itself are available. I feel safe in this place because one of my friend suggested and today surely I felt that it was a best decision and a place that I made with my family, and today I visited the canteen as well after years again plus I love the canteen staff and their service so friendly and the respect that me and my family got from then canteen staff I loved the chicken fried rice today it was 10 on 10 and it seems the management really looks at my recent reviews. And I appreciate it. And now I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good food good canteen and good guest house as well. Keep it up Sir and maam🙏keep growing with more success 🙏

The service of the hotel is very poor no response on time, mainly in nights no one is there to guide you. The place is not so tidy washroom is so slippery, no change of bedsheets and pillow covers, geacer works once in a while. Tv is available just for showcase. Complimentary breakfast is worse. It includes one omlet, 2 roti with a curry, 2 slice of bread either with butter or jam for a person. We didn't even get choice to order tea or coffee, they directly brought tea and 1 banana.
Menu of the food is very limited.
Mainly drivers don't have proper parking and resting rooms.
@makemytrip please don't advice this hotel for other people to maintain your reputation.

Had an amazing stay with Highwinds. The rooms were clean, the service was great and it is located in central shillong, easily accessible to city area. The staff were really nice and polite and they always helped with every request we had.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location was perfect close to all attraction. I felt like I got great value. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch and the staff were so friendly and accommodating, everything was well maintained and enjoyable. The experience exceeded my expectations.

A nice cosy family type hotel which goes out of its way to provide you with a home away from home.
The general service is very good and the manager, Mr Das, is always available to cater to individual needs.
There is a nice garden type lounge inside the Hotel where one can sit in leisure and enjoy a cup of tea in silence.
We spent One night here, while on our way to Cherrapunji and again another night while on our way back to Guhawati and both times the service stayed excellent.
The food, especially if you like home cooked meals, was excellent.

Only one egg per person is served in this restaurant in buffet breakfast.
For the first time in my life I have came across a hotel which charges quite a sum but limiting buffet breakfast to have one egg.
Service is ok ok.
Post giving the above feedback, it is good to see that the owner responded.

We recently visited this fantastic hotel. It is an extremely nice hotel in all respect. Rooms are neat and clean. Staff behaviour is very good. Foods are also delicious. I will highly recommend everyone to stay in this hotel during their Shillong Trip. And at last but not least Mr. Das the manager Is a gem he has gone all the way to assist the guest. He is a asset to the organization.
