Sudurnes County SPA hotels

3 stars does not do this place justice. Relatively small hotel but great staff and service all round. Ideally placed for the Blue Lagoon and Northern Lights viewing (when visible of course!

We stayed only two nights at the end of our 10 day trip. The staff was very friendly, the common areas were very clean and like I was in my living room back home. The honesty bar was refreshing.

I had heard a lot about the spa at the recently opened Keflavik Hotel so I went with high expectations and it fully lived up to my expectations, it is not particularly large but very elegant.

Good hotel and especially with the distance to the airport.
When we arrived no-one helped us to unload and their 'drivers' is kind not allowing us to unload during check-in.

My stay at this hotel was truly exceptional, largely thanks to the incredibly friendly and professional staff.

Checking may take a little bit of time, but the welcome easily overtakes that. The desk staff is extremely friendly and helpful (thank you especially to olena).

The room and the bathroom were clean. They offer breakfast, which is a great thing since eating in Iceland is pricey. Close to the airport.

Very small room for a family but clean bathrooms and amazing breakfast!
It was good for one night before the flight but for more nights I recommend the hotel.

Outstanding stay in a superb hotel, where we preferred to stay after a long day’s travel. Wonderful receptionist took great care of us with room upgrade and early check in. Bar menu extraordinary.

We checked in on a Sunday and were super pleased with our room. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Decent spot for an overnight layover. Bed was comfy and I had no issues getting into my room as the code was emailed to me. The building was quiet and the room itself was clean.

Is this a fancy hotel? No, but you have clean sheets, towels, Wi-Fi, TV, soap, coffee, kettle and toilet paper. Will you be welcomed by someone at the desk?

I stayed here two nights prior to my flight to Spain. The hotel is very nice with very easy access to the Terminal building.

The hotel staff were passionate to answer all questions that there was a 24 hour reception.
It’s just a few minute drive to the airport.

We had an amazing stay at The Retreat. My partner and I were originally booked to stay elsewhere, but were moved due to construction and it was such a wonderful treat.

The Retreat is well named as it truly is a place of comfort and serenity. Because of the recent volcanic eruptions you have the surreal experience of driving through a lava rock field to this oasis.
