Warm and welcoming. Very helpful and accommodating of our needs. If your lucky and get a bayside room, you can see the Aurora over the bay. Comfortable beds and good shower. Shops and food close by.

This hotel is terrible. It’s not soundproof. There were cars revving up and speeding down the road all night. It’s located across the street from a bar. It doesn’t feel safe out front or out back. The shower door was broken. It felt like a ran down, overpriced motel in a very bad area. I didn’t even know Iceland had a bad part of town.

Nice, clean hotel. Not much room for clothing storage unless you keep everything in your suitcase for hotel hopping. For a 12 day stay, it was not ideal.

Amazingly beautiful view from my room! Very clean. Great hot water shower. Super soft bed. Greeted very nicely as I arrived at midnight. Front desk night shift man was very helpful! He helped me with luggage and getting plug to charge my phone. Owner was at front desk at 12:00 noon, she was very nice. She drove me to the airport! Highly recommend staying here! Fantastic free complementary breakfast! Free one way airport shuttle! Took a lovely morning walk along the water to see an amazing rainbow! 15 minutes from Blue Lagoon.

They tried to give us a single room instead of a deluxe double room and we had to find it out ourselves by looking at the floor plan. That's a No-go! Also the restaurant was closed (7p. M. ) and they sent us to Radisson (which is a very nice hotel by the way), that's just not what you expect from a 4* hotel. The Deluxe Rooms are great and we even had a small "kitchen". Everything is clean and the hotel is quite nice. it's a 5min. Drive to the airport.

This is a great place to stay in Keflavik. We were really impressed with this hotel. My girlfriend and I were traveling back from Europe to the States and we stopped in Iceland for the night. The hotel is a close ride from the airport. The front desk attendant was really nice along with the rest of the staff we encountered. They also have a wonderful breakfast buffet from 5-10 in the morning. It is a great spread with a lot of good food options. I would recommend this hotel to anybody traveling to Keflavik.

Nice clean hotel. Reception is 24 hours. My room was clean but the bed was a little small. That's the only negative. That was the best hotel breakfast I've ever had in Europe. Rivals the best I've had in South America. The cab tride there was really expensive but they got me a free one back to the airport. Great place.

This hotel is 3 hotels in 1. There's the Guest House across the street, which is more hostel than hotel, then there's the main hotel with different room categories and finally there's the Diamond Suites that caters to a more upscale clientel. I stayed at the main hotel in a deluxe room. I had requested an early check-in and asked for a room with a view. I was told okay to both requests. The room only became available 2 hours after I arrived, and my view was of the gas station. The staff were cordial and the breakfast was better than most. The hotel is located 10 minutes from KEF airport making it conveniently accessible. The hotel also provides one-way transportation to the airport. I would definitely stay here again.

Awesome Customer Service. Clean, great location by the water. Restaurant/Bargrill directly across the street, movie theater, subway sandwich shop down the street. Easy access to tours! Everything you need! Perfect.

Had a great two night stay here. Hotel is modern and recently refurbished. Staff were very friendly, rooms were clean and well isolated from noise. Breakfast is included and the buffet was fresh with a wide selection. Plenty of restaurants and bars within short walking distance.

Nice and neat hotel. Unique impressive dinning space with sky-light provided by glass windows from top to bottom. Guest room with clean bathroom, small but comfortable.

Traveling solo — I stayed one night and this hotel met my expectations for a one night stay close to the airport with a free ride the next morning. It was clean and the staff were friendly. As I’m used to traveling to various places outside of the US — I was not surprised that there was no lift. Thankfully I had only one small piece of luggage! I was surprised there were no amenities such as soap and lotion in the bathroom but I was prepared for that too! The breakfast was a standard European continental style that is typically offered in most hotels in this category (2-3). As a travel agent I know ahead that you get what you pay for — at the price it was clean, conveniently located, and the staff was not overly friendly but they were adequate in their demeanor and response. Everything that was advertised was fulfilled. Nothing more — nothing less. I would do it again for an overnight stay.

A real good hotel. It's centrally located in Kef. The rooms are little bit smaller than I'm used to, and the TV's are really, really old.

Great breakfast, decent rooms, super friendly hosts that let us check in way earlier than the regular check in time. Location is a short drive from the airport. And most importantly, delicious free breakfast :)

Staying in the hotel tonight! Room/Hotel very dated. Very rude reception staff who insisted it was us who had misused the key when we couldn't get into our room. After seeing for herself that the key did not work she did not apologise just simply said we must go back down to get another. When entering the room we realised we had been given a room with a very small double when our booking specifically said large double. We went back to the reception to query this again. We were told that was the only room available and then ignored. This was a lie as there were other rooms available on their website. Very poor customer service. Terribly uncomfortable bed. Poor amenities within the room (fridge doesn't even turn on). Very disappointed with the lack of respect for a paying customer.

Older, well maintained hotel with a surly receptionist. Close enough by taxi to the International airport. Decent breakfast. Free rides by taxi from the hotel to the airport. Enjoyed a good dinner at nearby American style diner — Olsen Olsen.

Except for the very noisy flag rattle and the old TV OK! Very clean, tidy — breakfast could not be tested, demand for lunch package WG. Early departure did not bring anything: you can see in the morning if someone from the kitchen is already there… :/
The area is not exactly beautiful in itself. But you are fast in Reykjavik (car: 15min).

Second time of stay here at this hotel, it’s cheap clean and they have updated the TVs. Location is spot on fort the Airport and there is plenty of local amenities.

Excelent stay. Outstanding hotel with nice customer service. Free breakfast is a plus as well as free Internet. Espresso machine "all you can eat" 24/7 at the reception.

Location is great for getting to Keflavík international for an early flight. The accommodation is really nice, comfortable and convenient. Recommended.

Good hotel with good breakfast. Some rooms are still being renovated. A shuttle to the airport is organised. Price performance is good.

We (4 photographers) have stayed in this hotel last night before our flight after 8 days in Iceland.
While the trip was amazing, this hotel was surprisingly awful. The receptionist lady was rude and unfriendly from the beginning, which made us feel not welcome there. After we returned from a local pub, she literally yelled at us because we forgot to close the balcony door (which we intentionally opened because of the bad odor in the room).
When I asked her if we could have an HDMI cable (to plug a laptop to the TV), her abrupt response was "No, and it's not allowed".
And when I asked if we could have our breakfast (which was included in the deal) packed as we had to leave early morning (it's a common practice almost everywhere in the world) she just said "No".
The room itself was simple, some of us didn't have a chance to shower because of inconsistent water pressure and temperature.
Overall really weird and unpleasant experience, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Luckily, Iceland is full of really nice people and great affordable hotels.
I'm already thinking about visiting this country again, but won't stay in this hotel even for a minute.

The hotel was very good but we had to pay for the reservation 145, 70 euros on the bill we charge 147, 62 euros. But they pass it to ISK and they put 18.747, 74 IKS that charged to the bank account turns out to be 157, 21 I consider it a robbery.
To the appropriate person, Booking or hotel address I would like to receive an answer.

That's actually not that bad, as Reykjavik is busier than I would have preferred to stay at anyhow, but it also means that travel to almost anywhere else takes just that bit much longer. Free parking across the street, with lots of street parking around anyway even if the hotel parking lot fills up. Rooms are on the smaller side, but are well kept. I wouldn't really consider the size a negative though, since we were out and about exploring the island most of the time anyhow. The breakfast has a decent selection of foods that varies a bit from day to day (toasts, eggs, mini-pizza slices, quesadillas, fruits, vegetables, pastry desserts, yogurts, etc. ). Free beverage dispensing machine by the front desk/lobby. There is a complimentary gym in the lower level for guests that has a good selection of equipment (machines and free weights) and a shower.

The room is wonderful,, very clean and with all the amenities you would want. The breakfast in the morning is top notch. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in keflavik.

Besides the lack of A/C, the rooms were clean and updated with walk in shower. The view from my room was spectacular with sight of the ocean and fishing boats. The interior of the hotel was beautiful and had an old feel to it. The hotel offers breakfast in the morning. I did not stay in the diamond suites but looking from outside of the hotel I could see hot tubs. I would recommend staying here if you are staying a few nights and it's about 45 mins from Reykavik.

Breakfast was a great spread of delight and perfect start to first day in Iceland. The rooms in the guesthouse across the street were ok. Rooms got a little hot so we opened a window and the street was quite noisy most of the night. I recommend this place for the continental breakfast, service and friendly staff. They could make the guesthouse a little more inviting.

Perfect for staying before an early flight. Comfy rooms. Nice restaurant in an area with little options for dinner. Friendly staff. Free transfers to the airport.

Staff were friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable, with nice amenities. The shower was recently upgraded, which was a huge plus. The hotel has it's own restaurant, which appeared quite nice — but it wasn't open during our stay. (It should be noted — if the hotel restaurant is closed, there aren't many places in the area open on the weekend, outside of fast food. ) We enjoyed our stay — the only complaint was that we had two twin beds pushed together, instead of one larger bed — a bit awkward for a romantic getaway! Would have given it five stars, if not for that.

Did not find Air Iceland service desk at Keflvik airport, appeared at your hotel without a voucher. Your staff welcomed us and gave us rooms. Nice area, but difficult to get to if you don't have a car, or would rather not spend too much on a taxi. The walls were very thin, so you can hear almost everything going on in the next room. The beds were nice and soft, and the room was generally comfortable. The costumer service was good too.

Quality service. The hotel had a strange decoration but was very clean. The breakfast was great.

Located close to the sea, excellent fishing right from the pier. The delicious and free coffee.

One of the nicest hotels ive ever stayed in. The four-star rating is incorrect, the hotel has seven star interiors and five-star service.

Cons: Very dated rooms — tube TV with no channels under a CD player? Plus we had to take the lift to the second floor, then go down the hall and then take a flight of stairs down to our room, which is not exactly welcome at 12am and three large, heavy suitcases. Room was cold with no thermostat in sight, and bathroom glass shelf was about to fall off. Pros: reception staff was very nice and accommodating, allowing us a late check-out since our flight got in so late. Breakfast buffet was also very good with a lot of choices. Overall, it looks like it's under good management, just needs some serious building upkeep and renovation!
