Very nice property with several guest houses. Staff was very friendly. Everything was clean. They restocked the breakfast basket every day with veggies, milk, juice, cheese, bread, etc. Good central location for day trips in any direction, approx 1 hour to Reykjavik. Guest houses have private rooms and bathrooms with shower. The kitchen is a shared space with a living room and TV as well.
➜ The best accommodation value for money of my stay in Iceland. Room with own bathroom which was the only one we found at an affordable price. The facilities are excellent, the public areas are very spacious. Good breakfast I really recommend it.

A fantastic place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay here, the sustainability exhibition is inspiring and backed up by the practices of the village which can be seen in the local shop. This is a peaceful place with clean rooms, a relaxing atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff and great base for exploring the golden circle of Iceland and beyond. Thoroughly recommended.
