Great location, friendly and helpful.

Another great foss hotel. I had a few bad points compared to the Nupar and Baron accomodations. If you have a room downstairs, 7 in my case the restaurant I right above your room. So you can hear every foostep. Not so hard you need earplugs, but still noticeble. The second thing was the way higher prices compared to the other two foss hotels. You if you want some drinks, get them while there is happy our! The rooms where good and clean tho! And they even had a few nice hot baths for you enjoy! Water was really nice and hot, and the view over the mountain was great!

Very nice hotel. Some things can be cleaner but I am very picky.

Very nice site, and away from any drop of civilization, as almost every site in Iceland. Relatively large rooms and with large windows with views of the countryside. The bathroom against almost ridiculed without even a shower…

Well received, clean, but like all hotels in Iceland it is expensive minimum it must count €100 at night with breakfast.

We loved it, they have a hot tub 24 hs. He is obliged to go with cold and a beer in his hand! With luck if it's night you can see Northern Lights! Beautiful!

Had difficulty finding accommodation in one place, but ended up booking different nights with different Fosshotels. They are a great value! Very nice, very modern, and very clean. My price included breakfast, which I considered on par with other European prices. Compared to other Icelandic offers, this was an amazing value. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Fosshotels! :)

Good location for the Aurora, Breakfast is great and the restaurant is a great place to see the sunrise, with a lovely Icelandic horse beside the private farm.

The room was very clean and the breakfast was good.
Service, however, underground: at the happy hour in the bar we were not, respectively. First served on our site. Previously, multiple staff have come into the room, smiling at us nicely and going again without asking if we want anything.
Much worse, however, was that the hot water in the hotel did not work.
There was no need to inform the guests about this acute problem, nor did they seem to care about the problem. At the reception we got when we reported the problem only the succinct answer: "We know. "

Very nice and quiet. The bathroom vas a bit small and narrow. The breakfast was awesome and overall a very nice stay.

Bathing in the hot pot, taking a sauna, cooling down in the snow… more you don't really need. But here more is offered. A great view, cozy rooms, a big breakfast buffet with lots of goodies (also waffles to make yourself) and nice staff. Since I have to feed myself gluten-free, this was also no problem for the staff.

Clean, Nice (conference) hotel where tour groups often come and go in buses. Staff are all very nice and helpful.
The breakfast is super Class! All you want, ICL. Waffle iron and a real coffee machine!
Restaurant and bar were not tested.
Room 35/-. Has a bad bathroom. As soon as one of the auxiliary rooms is operated by the rinse, the siphon is taught by the shower and sink. As a result, runoff odors are spreading. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Now another disadvantage. In the direct vicinity there is nothing special to see. Most of the sights are more than 30min away by car.

Temperature of the ruim and bad smeling from the bathroom inside the room. People of the hotel are nice tough. And good ibstallation for the hot tubs. As the most part of the hotes; lack of infrastructure to watch the northern lights.

Hotel like so many others in Iceland in the middle of nowhere almost, either you take food, or there is no other choice but to dine in your restaurant that follows the high priced line of the rest of the chain.
The rooms on the ground floor are somewhat outdated, with a shortage of plugs to be able to charge two mobile devices at the same time. In addition it was not particularly clean, when moving the couch in search of plug was allowed to see the dirt, which also was noticeable on the floor of the room when walking barefoot.
At the entrance of the hallway there is a table with everything you need to prepare tea, coffee, etc.
As a very favorable point after a great day of road is that in the back of the hotel they have two hotpots, one to 38 degrees and the other to 40/41 that are appreciated a lot, as well as sauna, the perfect brooch to end the day.

Loved staying here! Great staff, cute place, rooms need a little face lift but other than that amazing.

We stayed for 6 nights. Really lovely hotel, not too far from Route 1 and thus an easy drive to most of the spots on the Golden Circle. The food was very good, a decent selection for breakfast however we had dinner at the restaurant just once as it was quite expensive (although this is the norm for most of Iceland to be fair). The hot tubs are brilliant, particularly in the evening where you can lie back and relax for a bit of stargazing — or, if you were as lucky as us, you might even see the Northern lights (we got an amazing show on our first night)! Staff were friendly and helpful too. Rooms were comfortable enough, however some of the decor was a little worn / dated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others!

Great location (OUTSIDE the town — which we like), good breakfast. Good, clean room. A bit noisy in the rooms at night since the restaurant was right above us but not excessively. Superfast uploads, which is important to be able to back up photos.

Calm place. Limited but tasty food. Nice hot tubs and wet sauna. Rooms need new furniture, they are too old. Nice staff.

Disappointing visit. Perhaps we were unlucky with our room, but the room /furniture was quite old and past it's peak. Granted, there is indeed a 24h sauna / hot tub and the breakfast buffet was impressive, including a DIY waffle bar.

Beautiful location and really nice hotel overall. Hot tubs and steam room open 24 hour. There are no restaurants in the area so either bring something or play to use their restaurant which is a little pricey but the chef is fantastic. Breakfast is really well done including waffles machine. Yes the facilities seem a little outdated but nothing too bad, mostly about the style, which gives it some character. The hotel is clean.

Cute hotel with nice outdoor hot tubs and friendly staffs. My room was nice but the room service was so-so (towels weren't changed). Breakfast and dinner were fine.

The Hotel is really nice and highly recommended. The food is not extravagant.

Original hotel, the simple rooms, but they are very clean, the time is stopped in the 80/90s style American, the decoration is friendly with a nice view on the full, no external or internal noise. The restaurant is good, and simple style kitchen international and local, the bar is welcoming. A good step.
