Staff are very nice and friendly.
A very comfortable hotel, located on the outskirts of Reykjavík, but accessible by bus to the centre (bus tickets available at reception).
Trips arranged by the very friendly reception staff included being picked up directly outside the hotel.
Reception provide a list of recommended local restaurants well within our price range (not the cheapest city to visit). They are also happy for you to bring in food from the local Pizza take away to eat in the hotel lounge area.
An ideal establishment for a short break on a lovely island.

Was trying to get a hold of Oddsson about a trip to Iceland and our concerns about Covid 19. Never responded to phone calls, never responded to emails. We understand that there was a no refund policy, but we were hoping for a response. We were hoping since travel from the US has been significantly impacted, and news reports state that Europe have shut down their borders, that the hotel could have offered us at least partial vouchers. We want to come to Iceland in the future, but will find a different place to stay.
