The master is very keen to know that we like horses also specially contact the owner of the stables let us see horses unfortunately this is geothermal heating water not enough breakfast very good dinner fish.

The lamb dinner was amazing. Accommodations were warm and comfortable. The landlords were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was great. Would stay there again.

Friendly staff, clean room, great service, and a beautiful location. Would recommend.

Very quaint and homey. Rooms in the main house are comfortable. The main dining room has a county feel. Wonderful views.

Perfectly located if you like being surround by nature. The glacier is easily accessible by a good 8km hicking; which it is really worth the sweat. The owners are kind and if you want a good dinner they will cook a perfect local lamb dish plate. The closest town is Hofn only 30 minutes from the guesthouse. I recommended this place for sure!

Perfect dark sky location. Clean comfortable and best part for hikers great 3 hour hiking loop up to and along glacier and the drainage of this glacial. And don't forget the great breakfast and locally raised lamb dinner that is available.

Checked in after dark and left as the sun was just beginning to rise so we didn't get to experience the place like I wish we could have. Stayed one night in January. It was easy to find and was an awesome property. About 30 minutes east of Jokuslaron. Good spot to see the Aurora. Nice breakfast assortment in the morning.

A farm halfway between Lake Jokularson and the location of Höfn. The staff very friendly.
Us stayed in June of 2013, in the building next to the House where live the owners (there are 3 or 4 rooms). Shared, large bathroom, but only one for all. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast included.
It is not bad if you want a quiet, clean place with friendly people. Full breakfast, even with more variety than many sites and Icelandic products.
As for the price, it cost US 1 night 110 €/ room. Iceland to be seems normal (although I refuse to call it "cheap"), if you are find the area of this price, choose this site. If you find something cheaper, look at the reviews and rating it.

Nice guesthouse, right off the ring road, in a picturesque part of the Southeastern part of Iceland. We stayed there as a stopover during our road trip around the country and enjoyed it. The rooms are in bungalows, right next to an active farm with sheep and horses. Breakfast was good. No dinner available, though.

Lovely simple guest house with a dramatic landscape behind the Guest House. Professional family running it whom were friendly and very helpful!
