The Black Dog is a good hostel to stay at the beds aren’t the comfiest but what can you expect from a hostel. Even with the best not being great it makes up for it in every other aspect.

It is a good long term hostel for at least a week of stay. For a relatively cheap price. The place is big and situated in the heart of the city.

It's a very clean place.
Good service, quite, and simple.
But hard to find it.
No brand of hostel outside.
It's on the top floor.
We need to press door bell "31"
No elevator.

The location was a real asset, close to the metro station and some attractions. The staff was really kind and ready to help us. The room was generally well maintained and clean.

Simple accommodation, amazing location. Stayed in the woman-only shared room and I had no problems. Lockers in room available.

I first came here for my birthday in November and it was great: room, cleaning, comfort, accommodation in general, music and party downstairs!

Really cool. Yes you can still get some rest and sleep good even thou it's saying Party Hostel.

Really nice alartments, super location.

These apartments actually felt like home. You have everything from kitchen to washing machine.

The shower is terrible, the curent is so strong, the water just splashes everywhere, plus it has no curtain, so that is just awful. Water is everywhere, I sliped there not only once.

Positive: Very nice location, good position, close to the river and very close to tourist friendly area. The flat is very well equipped and I missed nothing I needed for my visit in Budapest.

Positive: Great location, nice hosts, spacious apartment. Negative: The view was really bad : the apartment was a bit lower than a courtyard level and the window were facing parked cars.

We had really nice stay in Klauzál apartman. The location is just amazing! Many places easily reached by walking distance.

We stayed as two friends, and the room was generally clean with comfortable beds. We didn’t experience any noise issues during our stay. The housekeeping lady on our floor was very kind and helpful.

Located in the very heart of the city, in the middle of the shopping area (which means, loads of restaurants and cafes around), close to metro stations and the main cultural spots!
