Nice hotel to stay, its a 3star property but all the amenities are good, morning breakfast is very good compared to other hotels like 5 star hotels.

Good hotel, restaurant nearby. Pleasant, clean room, breakfasts in the morning are good from 7 to 10.

Great, fairly basic hotel. Not a '4-star' in American/Canadian standards, but in European standards, it is. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Complimentary coffee and 1 croissant for breakfast. Option for all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet at an extra cost. Airport shuttle for a small cost. Amazing location — walk to cute cafes, bars, parks, stores, and restaurants. The location is truly what makes this spot great. I will be back!

The hotel is okay, well located, and has a nice staff. However, there were some issues: horrible pillows (as thin as a wafer, really), worn out bed sheets and duvets. The shower head kept falling to the ground when you open the water. Got quite a few startles off that.

I would recommend this hotel. Order, don't even doubt. You will not regret it. You can not order food. Because of the price. The location is super. All the questions are solved on the recipe. Clean and good. First of all, I will definitely visit Budapest again and I will not experiment – I'll stay in this hotel. We were all happy.

Nice and comfortable. But the rooms need refurbishment. A bit old fashioned.

Good hotel and very good staff.

The rooms let you wish not to be very modern and the furniture is quite outdated. Very small beds in addition to needing a check out those wooden frames and carpet. The buffet is literally always the same, doesn't change the taste of the yogurts. The positive part that is fantastically well located in a very quiet street and surrounded by locals to eat dinner or have a few beers.

I found it great, clean, unbeatable staff, friendly treatment always ready to solve any difficulty. Restaurant of steaks in Hotel, bar, continental breakfast unbeatable. Trained staff, very polite. Close to the Metro, privileged area. I recommend it in a special way.

The location is a great, the amenities in the room are minimal. The service staff and the reception are really not a happy lot. The only positive out of the stay is the location and the restaurants near by.

The beef steak and the fatal salad are of a very poor quality, especially the steak is dry, hard!

Nice hotel in a incredibly nice neighbourhood. A great winebar and restaurant are in the building and every morning there's a great breakfast! The only thing we didn't like was the man who helped us with our luggage. We actually had to help him with the luggage and afterwards he expected cash. In all we had a incredible time here and we loved everyone in the hotel!

We were here on a stag do and wasn't expecting much. The rooms were very good value for money and a good shower. Steak restuarant downstairs in the lobby serves a mean burger.

Positive note is right in the center… convenient to everything… negative note poorly made beds with short sheets. Cleanliness in the sufficiency.

Nice, clean hotel. Not luxurious but a decent place to stay. The restaurant doesn't seem to cater for vegetarians in the evenings but there are plenty of choices nearby, including an Italian next door but one that does take out.

In the centre of Budapest, great value for money, very nice staff, super breakfast.

I personally found myself very well. Helpful staff who speaks a little Italian. The morning at 4:00.00 Day of our departure they called their taxi and they handed us the varied breakfast bag of each food to the packed breakfast. Clean Hotel. Some renovation work to do but nothing that precludes a great stay. Comfortable beds, warm and comfortable room, very large shower. Usual carpeting that goes so far abroad! We were given a room with 2 beds but you already knew the reservation while being a couple. Clean and change linen every day. The hotel is in a semi pedestrian street so very quiet. All transportation to the city and to the airport are within walking distance. Quiet area well served of every local to eat or have a snack. The Vaci Ucta is located 500 meters for those who like to walk you can turn the city even on foot. In the hotel you will find a very good restaurant at reasonable prices. In the morning you can take advantage of the breakfast at the price of 7 euros If you take it throughout the stay. The breakfast is more salty than sweet but of good quality. Next door is an Italian restaurant that makes an excellent pizza and a typical Hungarian restaurant where you can eat a good goulash at low prices. Just ahead is the oldest bakery in Budapest where you can have a snack with all kinds of sweets and cafeteria.

This star rating is actually for the staff in the bar and restaurant. In our 2 days in Budapest we did not experience anything but surly and rude customer service staff. In the end we laughed about it! However the staff in the hotel bar were delightful. Friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough… We enjoyed their hospitality on the evening of the 18th of Feb… sorry we didn't catch your names. Thank you for giving us 1 meal where we felt we were appreciated. Rather than an interruption!

We were 4 nights and 5 days, breakfast excluded. We were OK for the room, had to be double bed, and instead were two single mattresses joined together, pillows much smaller than the standard and also of the bed itself. Other sins The blankets, being two singles, c were two separate blankets —. ' And even though we put the dryers on the ground to change them, they folded them up without changing them. Too bad because overall it's a bell hotel.

Really nice hotel. Rooms are simple, but clean and good enough. Restaurant was delicious and so was the wine at the winebar! Workers were really kind. Breakfast was also really good! Also very close to the subway and the centre of Budapest. A real recommendation!

I would like to make record of certain discomforts suffered during my stay at this hotel. We deposited my partner and I our trust in their facilities because we were pleased and attracted us when we saw it, but after 6 nights there we found that our expectations had been too high under. What we found. They consisted as much of materialea issues as in relation to the service. First of all we checked that the hygiene of the bathroom was not done daily. There were even days of not changing the towel. The bathroom screen was constantly clogged so that it was difficult to close it and open it with the risk of breaking and could cause damage and over responsibility for the cost of it. Surely he has many years and hence his condition, the same as the old and broken trash that had to be opened by hand. Regarding the rest the hotel has old spring mattresses that we could get to touch with our hand and that have obviously conditioned our rest, not to mention the bedding that was worn and old.
To finish I especially want to mention the service in the cafeteria where I did not like the breakfast coffee I ordered on the machine bar (at my cost) and for the service I went through 3 waitresses; The first called another because I didn't know, the second called a third one who served me a small coffee in a breakfast cup. I left it in a bad way over the bar without any more.

Great hotel to explore Budapest. Wonderful breakfast, comfy if over warm room (we shut the hearing off but it still stayed warm). Excellent helpful desk staff.

Good hotel for a good price. The location is perfect also, supermarket, metro station and downtown area are close to the hotel. Very kind staff. 4 stars for the hotel (only one star less because showering area should be improved)

Very good location, close to everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Reconendable.

Definitely not worth the price. The Wi-Fi doesn't work at all (impossible to even use emails), the receptionist has a very poor English and the breakfast buffet was really bad: not only did the food look very tired, the room was so crowded I had nowhere to sit so had to give up on getting the breakfast I had paid for. One of the 2 elevators were broken so getting to the upper floors where my room was took forever.

A bit old rooms. Wine bar with Hungarian wine besides the reception. Sentral location in Budapest. Not to expensive.

Comfortable professional availability.

Nice hotel with A/C, normal European breakfast options and a friendly staff. Our room was clean neat, and the bathroom appeared to have recently been redone. Location was good, just a couple of block from the metro. I would stay there again anytime.

Worst hotel ever. They stole a personal items. A gift from my family. When I complained at the reception, the manager did not care They did not have the courtesy to check the room or to give me any kind of solution. He made fun of me because I was trying to get a solution for my stolen item. I am 100% disappointed. I will never come back again or recommend this hotel to anyone. If you want to not be stolen, or a courteous treatment, DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL. Plus, the cleanliness is very poor and the water did not leave the bath tub, which was quite disgusting.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and I can only tell me fully satisfied. The hotel is located in an elegant street just a few steps from the shopping streets of Busapest, the underground, the great Central Market and one of the many bridges that join the old and new part of the city. The rooms may not be huge, but they are neat, clean and have everything you need. There is also a TV with tuned two Italian channels. The lobby is nice, spacious and cozy. Great even when you don't want to stay in the room. I didn't try the continental breakfast because my package didn't foresee it, but every morning the staff still reserved coffee, tea, milk and a little croissant. Inside there is also an ATM, ideal for changing currency without worries. Considering also the affordable prices, I recommend it without hesitation.

Terrible service and quite mean towards non-hungarian speaking visitors. I stayed here for 6 nights and I only had breakfast once because theyre stingy with the "coffee and croissants" they offer. Maybe it's because i'm brown but they were not welcoming to us. Never again.

We booked the hotel in advance and everything is nice and we feel good here. The rooms are standard and clean. The hotel is in city center close to everything near to the subway. Budapest is the most beautiful city of Europe.

Horrible staff, expensive. After some unpleasant arguments with a lady at the front desk we moved to a half cheaper apartment nearby. We planned to stay 5 nights at Erzsebet but only stayed one night, and only because we were not allowed to cancel.

Great location in the historic center, metro nearby, small double room but nice staff, breakfast buffet.

It is close to all the possible destinations one would want to go. We rarely used the metro, We prefered to walk and enjoy the city. Staff was very kind and helpful and the rooms were quiet, big, clean. I will definitely go back when I will go back to budapest.

I loved the spacious rooms and perfect location of this hotel.

Rude horrible staff. Stay anywhere but here. Refused to give directions lied and said no metro and tram when each as a station steps away from front door. Caused me to walk for hours in cold and dark and thought that was funny. I think they wanted me to be raped or murdered because I was a single woman traveler. Stay away from this place. Ugly to me from the moment I walked in the door.

I loved this hotel and will recommend it to my friends! It's in the downtown area, but the rooms are very quiet. Rates are reasonable, staff is friendly and helpful.
