For the price, this place is great. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. The rooms are simple and no frills but sufficient. The location is perfect, it's within walking distance of both the train station and thermal spa. If you want a hotel that is super clean and fancy, feel free to pay for one. But I don't think you'll find a higher quality low priced hotel in Budapest.

Comfortable room, clean bathrooms, very quiet, good location.

It has been made to lose little by little by bad management, the cleanliness is almost absent and the breakfasts to 3 euros as they want to put it or not. It is quite old although that likes but to influence the smell of snuff and the shortage of cleanliness. And not on that are based on charging tourist rates the Cobra N as if they were a 5 star hotel. It is also true that it is one of the few hostels that you will be able to have a rather cheap room for you only if the bathroom is shared outside the room.

A star for the staff very nice but zero for everything else. I stayed there in June a few nights. Horrible. Bed bug. Too old to say disgusting. The thing looks more like an emergency home. I was there to meet some Hungarian in a galley that the Hungarian social service paid at night. I don't think the thing really does fit in a tourist website. Laughing out loud. Never again, never again.

This is nice place to stay for a night. Showers are common but neverming. Its clean and that is good :)

Window could not be closed properly, they fixed it. Other than that, would recommend. Nice cozy room worth the price :)

Well located and convenient. Unfortunately our room smelled extremely uncomfortable (! ). The Sanitäreknrichtung is very old — fulfills its purpose.

Typical dorm rooms for students. It was clean and quiet, rather close to the train station. Would recommend only for short stays (1 night)

Stinky floor! Dirty sheets, uncleaned room and they also left our window open and lights on, pretty risky if you think it's a short building! Nice position though, metro and train station.

Bad: Tiny room for two people (double room), no fan or A/C, too hot in summer. Good: Good location with free parking.

A hotel receptionist tried once to cheat me and my travel company by saying that we should leave the key to the hotel before we go out. I have been in 25 countries and this is a first time ever someone even dares to ask that. A hotel gives you a document after a payment and that should be an enough proof that you are a hotel guest. He is an old Hungarian man, white short hair and speaks good English. Do not let him to lie to you, keep your wallet closed!

Never again this hotel. House manager was totally useless. Lousy service, soiled rooms and rude staff. First time I've experienced something so bad hotel. And I've probably certainly been on over 200 hotels. Kick house manager! what a jerk.

Unclean and disgusting, don't waste your money here.

A very good place. Located in the Church building. Very nice. The restrooms are clean. The rooms bed, litter box, a wardrobe and an Ottoman. Beds harsh and this is the only negative.

You get what you pay for — this hotel is fair.
