Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace not only delivers the best afternoon tea in Hungary, but one of the best I’ve had in the world. Seriously, it’s that good! Great staff, delicious food and perfect atmosphere. Can’t fault it!

The service at the bar is not attentive. Your bartenders don’t care to check the empty glasses ; instead they congregate and talk to each other!

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. The location is great and decor is really unique. Actually the decor is incredible. The pool is up in the attic, and it is a nice space and surprisingly large pool to fit up there. The rooms are nice but not particularly extraordinary. The restaurant is okay but a bit overpriced, and food at the bar is also really expensive (but not drinks. ) Despite those minor caveats the hotel is really cool and I would definitely stay here again.

One of the most beautiful hotels, even if you don't stay there, just go inside to see it. The restaurant is great, next to the long there is small bar with piano music. It is great for coffee and sweets, just to enjoy the atmosphere.

It’s a beautiful building. An Iconic one. One of the most expensive hotels in Budapest. The location is fantastic. The view from the room is of the chain bridge or the Basilica! If you stay here definitely ask for the room with river view, you will never regret it. The restaurant serves some great delicacies too. You must have the clams, it’s just simply yummy.

Beautiful hotel, the rooms are very beautiful I was lucky enough to stay there 2 nights for work. Easy access to the city centre you can walk quietly there are restaurants and bar not far away.

The only problem with staying here is that it will set the standard for every other hotel you will stay at subsequent to that. The staff is very professional and helpful. The place is simply beautiful on he inside and the rooms are super comfortable. Hope to stay here the next time I visit the city.

Beautiful Place. It Is near this building parking bus, which rides both on the streets and on the river. The Hotel did not stay, but the breakfasts here are good and the location itself is very convenient.

Im very satisfied with this hotel. I stayed in Budapest and this was my great experience. Elegant rooms and lobby. Staff was friendly to me and helpful. I have enjoyed a cocktails at the lobby bar. Thanks.

A feast for all the senses — I will NEVER forget!

Among the various 5 star hotels I stayed in Budapest, this is by far the best. The hotel has a high ceiling, wonderful lobby. It was every time a joy to have a cocktail at the lobby bar with their tasty complimentary nibbles over some live piano recitals. All the staff are impeccable which is what makes this Four Season stand out as well. In terms of room preference, I recommend the room behind the river view corner suits. These rooms have twin beds instead of double bed, but it's worth it, because it has a balcony from which you can still enjoy the river.

Magnificent hotel really nicely restored by CFE (apparently almost going bankrupt in doing so), great location, wonderful breakfast and great 12m pool with salt water. Service is impeccable : night before leaving, housecleaning provides a plastic transparent, resealable plastic bag for carrying liquids in your handluggage. Amazing.

Visit this hotel and you will have the pleasure of drinking the most amazing hot chocolate you have ever tasted. It is also the most expensive hot chocolate I have ever bought but it was worth every single euro!

Quite an experience… what a special place. The hall with the fabulous glass ceiling is magnificent, the rooms are very clean and luxurious. We also very much loved the indoor pool on the rooftop, we had it for ourselves!

Planted on the banks of the Danube, this magnificent New Ar Palace was built in 1906 on the plans of architect Zsigmond Quittner for the British insurance company Gresham. Beautifully the ceramics, from the famous Zsolnay factory, which decorated the kitchens, bathrooms, corridors and staircases, could be preserved …

Possibly one of the most amazing 4seasons. Luxury at its finest. Amazing breakfast and cafeteria!

A marvel of architecture and gastronomy.

Stole the money. A lot. After the flights went to dinner. Absolutely all the compartments of the road bag were checked, even the secret zippers opened, from there and stole. In his purse the wife of the cover of the passport was also stolen, pokovyrjalis in things suitcases. They called for security, listened, went back with the hotel manager and told that the cameras showed that only 2 people were going into our room and that they would get it. The police did not call (big mistake). The other day the manager called and said that no one admitted… Offered a transfer to the airport, I refused. Curtain! Well, I would just steal the money, but picking in things… and management did nothing, knowing exactly who it was.
Fair… In a couple of weeks management contacted me, apologized, compensated part of the cost of living. Added an estimate.

Extremely satisfied with the first class experience at this hotel. The view from the suite was wonderful. The service and knowledgeable staff was above and beyond expectations. Food, bar and piano player was a treat.

This is a review for the spa at the Four Seasons and not the hotel. I booked a 50 minute massage. The massage was ok, but she ended up doing 60 minutes and not 50 which was more expensive, plus they list prices only in euros but you can't pay in euros not even with a card and the exchange rate they have is pure robbery. The showers had lots of hair all over which is not what you expect at a spa of this caliber. Also the wet steam room was not very hot. I was really looking forward to it and unfortunately was very disappointed.

First class hotel in a historic building. Our room was beautiful but more importantly, Four Seasons is where to experience above and beyond customer service. While I expected the luxurious toiletries, their turndown service just impressed and was more than laying out bathrobes and slippers. As we went out to dinner, I left my sunglasses on a side table and my device charger with all the attached cords on the desk. When I came back to the room, there was a sunglass wipe by my shades and an elastic tie around the electrical cords. It’s all in the details.

Exclusive address with beautiful architecture and great views.

It is awesome! Its worth it even just to walk in the lobby and have a tea with cake inside, while there is someone playing on the piano. The people are nice and helpful. Thank you.

This hotel is the best hotel all over Europe. High standard, fantastic and helpful staff, beautiful historical, unique building and amazing Danube-view from hotel rooms!

This is the most amazing hotel in Budapest and I would top 5 in Europe (and I am not exaggerating). The service is impeccable, the architecture stunning, the location splendid (specially if you have one of the magnificent rooms overlooking the Danube and chain bridge), and body of all the bed is heavenly. If you have the money then stay here!

The service was flawless and so was the room. Perfect views and the best bed imaginable. Also our 5 month old son slept like a baby should.

I visited the restaurant with my friends and we enjoyed excellent food and service! Our waitress Elisabeth was absolutely lovely! After my friend mentioned to the staff that it was my birthday, they beautifully arranged cakes and all waiters sang Happy Birthday for me. They took each dessert from our bill!
This was incredibly sweet and thoughtful. On top of that the hotel itself is gorgeous which is why I visited it again for high tea the day after. I truly fell in love with the place.

This wonderfully unique hotel is located central to many of the major sites by foot. The room, bathroom, and amenities were top notch, and the level of service more than excellent. Gresham Palace is one of the more affordable Four Seasons locations, relatively, and well worth the memorable experience.

Beautiful and elegant hotel. The rooms were big and clean and the view is spectacular. We got the Chain Bridge & BudaPest view! This is also worth the visit.

Simply perfect! The service, hotel and location were excellent. I highly recommend getting a room facing the river. The views are amazing and it's totally worth it. It is pricey, but Four Seasons generally is. I plan to return to Budapest and will most definitely be staying here again.

I remember when they were remodeling the building there was a sign on the street saying "We are building the most beautiful square of Budapest for you. " Now, looking back I think they were right. The hotel and the square with the views is absolutely splendid.

Very beautiful inside and the rooms are really nice. Of course it is pricey but fours seasons are.

If any of you guys are looking for dirt cheap hotel deals I would check out HotelRaven. Com I saved a ton of money using that site. Not sure if I should award 4 or 5 stars to this hotel. It was very gracious and beautiful, but I felt the courtyard facing room was disappointing and expensive for what it was. If you can afford a river facing suite — it must be amazing, but the $1000 or so for 2 nights we paid for our ordinary room was not good. We enjoyed sitting out at the bar in the evening, but the breakfast was not impressive for about $50 each. So the second day we went out for a really good American/English Breakfast just down the street. I would say this is a suitable hotel for expense account and the independently wealthy. We had the South African delegation staying while we were there but they were relatively low key. Not a romantic weekend hotel.

I stayed in the Hotel in January 2014.
That is, a luxury hotel, with perfect service and wonderful furnishings, impeccable and refined.
Personally it is the best hotel in which have never been. The price is obviously to a hotel at that level, but after having stayed for two nights with my wife I can only confirm that were absolutely money well spent.
The location is perfect, the chain bridge on the Pest side of the city, a position that allows you to go practically anywhere. The hall is fantastic, with a recovery of architecture and Art Nouveau décor that characterizes the Gresham Palace, within which it was created, in 2004, the hotel.
The rooms are very cozy and the service is of an almost maniacal attention, but without ever being intrusive (maybe just at breakfast there is a presence a minimum excessive).
Ultimately, then, a dream for a weekend just as a dream.

No reason to stay here unless your self-worth comes from burning cash (you know who you are). But the interior is worth a quick stroll-through.

The Sunday brunch is a real treat.

In early 1900, when Gresham Palace was built, there were many disagreements, because his secessionist Art Nouveau was too innovative for the times, but then this art took over and became typical of the city.

The architecture is stunning with a plentiful bar and the Dale Chihuly light piece in the main lobby is absolutely breathtaking.
