Vibes, great party scene and activities. The place to go — even for private rooms!. 4 stars cause I spun beer bong and not free beer, which is cheap as caca.

Demurely a party hostel so attracts a younger crowd. Rooms are really small but it was 4 people sharing a bathroom which was decent. Enjoyed the breakfast and view from the top terrace is nice.

I had a good stay here at Dreamboat Hostel.
Even though it is a party hostel, I didn't Eben socialize here (I befriended two people elsewhere in Panajachel and spent time with them).

A wonderful, homely accommodation in the heart of San Juan. The shared dorm was spacious, with plenty of space to store luggage and the bed was really comfortable.

Best Hostel Experience on our trip! The staff was really nice. We had a really good breakfast. The kitchen was great. The hostel is cozy and has a good atmosphere. The rooms were new and comfortable!

I stayed here for 3 nights and I loved it! Really chill and social vibes, and a beautiful view of the lake. The family dinner and activities were nice to meet fellow travelers.

We had a fantastic stay at the Iguana! They have family dinners every night (you can join even if you’re not staying here). Cool hammocking spots in the shade. Our private room was beautiful.

I was super impressed with my stay at Amigos.
The rooftop is absolutely stunning, and the perfect place to unwind and relax.
The room was very comfortable and clean.

The check-in was smooth and my stay was great. I arrived within the opening hours, showed my passport — they took a photo, I payed in cash and everything worked well.

AHAU is a perfect hostel that offers many chill zones with a social aspect. The owner, staff and volunteers were incredibly helpful and thoughtful. I cannot recommend this hostel more.

We loved our stay here! The boys were all so welcoming and talked with all the guests like friends, not customers. It felt like home.

One of my favourite places I’ve stayed, for such great value. The property is amazing, as well as the restaurant and bar. The portions are large, fresh, delicious, and very fairly priced.

We were supposed to go to some other hostel with similar name to this but we ended up here. It was night time so there was no way to go to St Juan from St Marcos.

This is a no frills hostel, however despite its appearance being quite basic, it is perfect for a night or two.

This hostel was a surprise, I planned to stay here just one night but ended up staying 1 week.
Is not luxury but they cleaned the rooms very well (I saw them even moving the beds).

I initially wanted to stay three nights at Mandala hostel, but extended my stay because I felt so at home.

Great atmosphere. Not as much privacy in dorms. Great kitchen with free tea and extra food all the time. Beautiful view to eat your meals from. Super nice staff.

Wow, this is the most beautiful place on the lake! The infinity pool is amazing, with the best views of the water. The whole vibe here is super relaxed, and the service is fantastic.

What an absolute gem! The location is perfect, right in the heart of San Pedro, making it super convenient to explore.

Located at the end of the tourist strip so away from the hustle & bustle of backpacker bars. But it was noisy with the sound of motorbikes!
Just stayed 1 night. Room was fine with a hot shower.

Friendly family. Quiet but convenient location. Great view. Reasonable rates. Spacious room with cable and Wi-Fi.
