Solola Hotels

Great hotel. Nice balcony overlooking the lake. Staff was helpful and stored our food. There is no fridge in the room.

We enjoyed our stay at Porta Hotel. Dinner was incredible, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The views from our room were amazing, and the property was very well-maintained.

I had a wonderful stay! The property is absolutely gorgeous, and the rooms were spacious, spotless, and felt brand new.

Hotel is good location (around 10/15 min walk to the boats), rooms are very clean and comfortable (they have the fly nets on the windows) and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a hotel

Budget hotel next to Pana's high street.
Ok for the price.
Other than the wobbly Wi-Fi, not major flaws to report.

I stayed at Posada don Miguel for a week whilst attending Spanish school.
Great central location whilst away from the main road and noise from the restaurants and bars.

Great little hotel with a nice view of Atitlan Lake and a nice private beach. It included a very nice breakfast. Lunch was also good and had a home made flavor.

Simply a beautiful experience.
Situated outside of the main area you will get a peaceful experience. Only 5 minutes by tuktuk.

We had the best time here! Everything about Jenna’s was great. The property was clean with lots of amenities like a pool, bar, and, and spa.

I love Jenna’s River! The staff is so kind and helpful. The property is beautiful!

Very nice spacious rooms with private bathroom, great location just few minutes from the lake and all the restaurants, quick and affordable laundry service.

Great value for money and very helpful staff — made our stay just that bit extra.
Location is good for San Pedro, near the business (walkable) but also far enough away to be a bit away from the music.

Nice and cosy little hotel. We enjoyed the terrace and the area in town is not too noisy.

Great place. Friendly staff. Rooms are simple but bed was comfortable. Also all rooms have cable TV — great for watching some Guatemalan MTV.
Cooking facilities on multiple levels.

Located in a nice, quiet small village (30 min. In public transportation from Panajachel), great view on the lake and the volcanoes.

Went for the recommended empanadas, all good and the queso was the best one!

We stayed with them for 4 days and were quite happy. The rooms are very outdated and could be cleaner as there are spider webs everywhere.

The rooms could be cleaner but I really enjoyed my stay here! Staff was really nice and helpful, I kayaked right outside and highly recommend.

Simple, but clean and nice place. Host is super friendly and helpful. And the garden — this is absolutely beautiful! It’s close to the city center, everything is in a walking distance.

I had a great stay at Posada Woochooch! The family was super friendly and always happy to help with anything. The garden is beautiful and such a nice spot to relax.

This hotel was incredible. Definitely more of a Guatemalan 3 or 4 star traditional hotel. Very comfy beds. Although dated, the rooms were nice and clean. Fantastic, central location.

We only spent one night here as we travelling around Lake Atitlan but the hotel provided a relaxing and reinvigorating stay.

We were looking for a quiet place in Panajachel and discovered this property through Airbnb. The booking process and communication were smooth and prompt from the start.

We had a wonderful (short) stay and it was so lovely! The house was equipped with everything we needed and the host took the time to show us around and explain the different amenities available.

Great value for the price! The bed was comfortable, the water was always hot, and it was nice and quiet at night, so I slept well.

Beautiful guest house in an excellent location in Panajachel just a few minutes' walk from lake Atitlan. Nice and comfortable rooms. Free coffee available. Value for money.

Absolutely stunning place! The facilities are unbeatable in the region. You can use this spot to explore the whole lake.

We had a lovely stay at socialtel atitlan for our first 2 nights on the lake. Meals were great.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room had a big spider but the vibes were good and the service was incredible.

My Dad and I had a phenomenal stay and made life-long friends on this beautiful property.

If there was an option for 10 stars I’d give it that. The best accommodation we’ve ever stayed at. The location and view from the rooms are like nothing you’ll get anywhere else!

This is an amazing place, no need to look any further. The (glamping) rooms are fantastic, and wherever you are on the property, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding volcanoes.

We stayed for 3 nights and did not want to leave the property, only going so far as the nature reserve hike and a walk to Santa Cruz.

If your idea of luxury is being fully immersed in nature, this place is it. It truly lives up to being an eco resort, everything feels intentional, curated, and deeply connected to the land, from the

Angel, the host, is absolutely wonderful, he’s so helpful and responds fast. The room is very spacious and you have hot water in the shower. All in all, we had a great time there :)

Great value for money, basic accommodation but has everything you need (comfortable bed, own bathroom with hot shower, spacious room, good location, …). Most importantly, Angel is a wonderful host

I had a lovely stay here for two weeks with Diego and Telma’s beautiful family! The cabin is situated in the middle of the home and is so cozy!

I stayed with Diego, Thelma and their extended family for 3 weeks while studying Spanish and the experience far exceed my expectations. Diego and Thelma are amazing hosts — attentive, kind and fun!

Quite nice, comfortable, private, quiet yet centrally located. Highly recommend Casa Rebecca. We had the roof top terrace room with panoramic views of Santiago and the volcano San Pedro.

We stayed at Rebeca house and it was amazing! She care about us very well! We arrived late evening and she prepared sauna in her house with beautiful view. We stayed one night. Thanks a lot!

A very nice apartment unit (not hotel) in which you can enjoy the view and some birds around the area. I stayed in Casa Bosque. It does have thin walls for those sensitive to noises.

I loved this place. The tranquility and peace I felt here was incredible. The view of the lake and the volcanoes is priceless.

My recent stay at Unicorn Reborn was truly life-altering. San Marcos is a beautiful location that has a way of drawing a person in and Unicorn Reborn was a huge part of my incredible journey.

My stay at Unicorn Reborn exceeded all my expectations. This is more than just a hostel, it’s a community project.

Crazy hostel! If you want a fun night, they will make sure you have a great time here. The food is delicious and they make sure to keep this place clean.

Stayed at Dreamboat Hostel and had such a great time. This place really stood out. The staff and owners are awesome, and the people are super friendly.

The best hostel I stayed at in Guatemala. La Iguana Perdida has an incredibly welcoming, family atmosphere that's perfect for solo travellers and groups alike.

We had an amazing stay for our annual cousins trip! The property was beautiful, and our room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The volunteers were so welcoming and fun.

Great location and the whole place is super clean. As others suggested the breakfast is also amazing considering it’s a free breakfast.

We stayed at this place for several nights and can 100% recommend it!
The owner is extremely welcoming and friendly from the very beginning.

Brent was incredible! he was very fast, all my friends loved him he was very charismatic. The rooms were a lot better than we thought and the boat party was fantastic!

A really great hostel with welcoming staff and a great breakfast too. The location has a lot of small stores and food locations as well as a pier to travel to different sections of the land.

I would rate more than 5 stars if it was possible. Elder is the most genuine, involved and helpful host you can imagine.
Clean and very affordable private room with two king sized beds.

I highly recommend this accommodation! The place was clean, and the location was conveniently close to everything. Elder was extremely accommodating! I would come back and stay here.
