Became sick due to food poisoning outside street food, I began vomiting around 1 or 2 am. The hostel staff was extremely helpful offering to call me a doctor. I declined and at around 4 am I broke and had them call me a doctor. They stayed with me the whole night helping with whatever I needed, speaking with the doctor on my behalf. My body temperature dropped and they covered me in blankets while the doctor started an IV for me in my room. The following day they helped me call my insurance company as I did not have a local SIM. Extremely helpful staff and owner. Stayed up with me all night came in to check up on me the following day.
Quaint, quiet, friendly staff, cheap. Not too sure about that pool however. A bit noisy too especially early morning but that is rural Guatemala for you.
