Nice place to stay. Santander street its steps away if you want to walk the town. The bedroom is spacious and clean, but the lake view is obstructed by plants and other objects.

Went here with a group of people. Staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean. The beds are fairly comfortable as well.

Angel, the host, is absolutely wonderful, he’s so helpful and responds fast. The room is very spacious and you have hot water in the shower. All in all, we had a great time there :)

Great value for money, basic accommodation but has everything you need (comfortable bed, own bathroom with hot shower, spacious room, good location, …). Most importantly, Angel is a wonderful host

Nice hotel, not pricy, away form all the noise, cute installations, great breakfast, hot water and comfy beds, access to the lake Atitlan! Great staff as well.

A wonderful place, quiet, with direct access to the beach to relax or, if yiu are interested to take a swim in one of their 7 swimming pools.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this hotel that was pleasantly surprise. It definitely has a social vibe to it. They definitely promote their activity and such but it wasn’t over the top.

This is more of a hostel/hotel hybrid. Not fully a hostel, not fully a hotel. I really liked it. It feels kinda corporate, but the grounds are beautiful and the 4 person dormitory was REALLY nice.

When we got there, the staff was very friendly and obviously the view was gorgeous. However, when we got to our room, it had a very damp smell, probably because of the absence of an.
Exhaust fan.

Scheduled here as part of a tour. First floor took near reception is convenient but no privacy if you want to leave curtains open to enjoy the beautiful lake view.

The staff was very nice and helpful! The breakfast was abundant and delicious!.
The room could have been a little bigger and quieter.

I stayed in a casita which is a private room and I loved it! I could see the sunrise every morning and it was an easy walk to free cerveza for time outside and right next to the lancha.

Pros: We got upgraded for free and the cabin we got upgraded to had the best views of the lake. It was right in the water.

Stayed in the room farthest from the pool so didn’t hear lots of noise from there. Just really loud from bar sublime. Rooms are super pretty and they give lots of pillows and towels.

I stayed for 3 nights in the dorm room. The room was clean and showers actually had hot water so I can’t complain.

This is a no frills hostel, however despite its appearance being quite basic, it is perfect for a night or two.

This hostel was a surprise, I planned to stay here just one night but ended up staying 1 week.
Is not luxury but they cleaned the rooms very well (I saw them even moving the beds).

One of my favourite places I’ve stayed, for such great value. The property is amazing, as well as the restaurant and bar. The portions are large, fresh, delicious, and very fairly priced.

We were supposed to go to some other hostel with similar name to this but we ended up here. It was night time so there was no way to go to St Juan from St Marcos.

I had a lovely stay here for two weeks with Diego and Telma’s beautiful family! The cabin is situated in the middle of the home and is so cozy!

I stayed with Diego, Thelma and their extended family for 3 weeks while studying Spanish and the experience far exceed my expectations. Diego and Thelma are amazing hosts — attentive, kind and fun!

We had a room for two people. The private room and bathroom was a nice change from hostel travel even had a key to our door. The owners are super nice.

This is a very nice hostel with an own kitchen, nice and helpful staff and big rooms for a low price. We felt at ease here!

Great hotel if you’re wanting to be in the heart of the city! You are literally off of the Main Street with all the artisan shops — but it still feels secluded enough to have some privacy.

We stayed two nights here and they were very peaceful nights with no noise. Just off Main Street but 1 minute walk to many eating places. There was hot water in shower which worked well.

I visited the restaurant more than one time and the food and service was good. The gardens and ambiance is nice, there is enough space for parking.

My stay at B'alam Ya was nothing short of spectacular.

My husband and I had such a fabulous stay at Villas B'alam Ya. We were looking for a spot where we could really relax, but still be close enough to town and activities.

My private room was great.

Front desk employee was great showed me a few rooms and let me chose the one I thought was best. She gave me recomendaciones while I waited for my room. The room feels fresh even on a hot day.

Very basic hotel (more like a hostal) with the basics. Its like 20 min away from the lake and the breakfast is ok with just coffee.

Very relaxing and beautiful place to stay with great views of the lake and nearby volcanoes. Room was very nice and clean. Food was expensive but very delicious and high quality.
