Excellent service from everyone.

Had a wonderful time with my family during our stay. Food was great and our favorite area was the pool, fresh and clean. We felt like home, with personalized service all the time.

Family atmosphere; cute space to relax in a beautiful garden full of flowers and trees; excellent pool, exceptional attention from its staff also from its own owners, comfortable and cozy rooms. We have a good experience 100% recommended, we hope to return in an upcoming opportunity, greetings from Chile.

The owner was very rude not polite at all very bad service and the food was awful. My husband and my son went to have fun and was a big mistake to get the hotel I don’t recommend at all.

It is a quiet place, nice and cute. To us they treated us wonderfully and were very attentive. Super recommended! are going to love it.

I was in the Hotel a week he wanted to escape the noise and was coming out of an illness, but to be in the quietness of the hotel. Violate and Steve they were expecting me as a family member, all the hotel staff treat me so well I prepared the drink that I took and I forgot everything being in the pool at different times to go to the sea. Listening to the rain and the music was like being in a friend's house and not a hotel. Thanks to all of you were each very special and I recommend a lot of the Hotel is very special.

Magnificent place to rest and enjoy with family. The owners are great people who make visitors feel at home. The service is first class, characterized by the human quality and service that the staff possesses. It is definitely the best thing in Monterrico.

A tranquil and beautiful place where you can have a real good time and relax with your family or friends. I loved the pool and the food! Owners are always there also, they are always making sure that you are having a wonderful time!. Thanks for eveything!

Laid back atmosphere, would have given it 5 stars due to the good service, but there are some details in the rooms that are not quite there yet (i. E. Improvised white wire hooks for the towels that are probably more expensive than local handycrafts, the shower and shower head could be nicer or the choice of bed covers). This is a typical non-chain hotel for the frugal. The combination of rustic build materials and fine details could be improved. They should get rid of the TV set or place one upon request that is not 20 years old. They have an art gallery with some really nice and fine water color paintings on silk that has already customers all over the world. These are sophisticated expressionism paintings. Some depict Guatemalan market scenes, most Scandinavian scenes, still life and some animals. The music is carefully selected giving the place a more distinguished atmosphere. The place has a lot of potential.

This hotel is a wonderful lovely calm place with very clean rooms, pool and guatemalian food. I like the atmosphere… you feel welcome and at home.

Excellent place I spent super.

I was delighted with the place, the weather was perfect and everything went very well. I had the opportunity to chat with the owners and are definitely very friendly and humble people. The Lord was astonished that he learned the capital of his native hehe. But this place I recommend it. I was satisfied. Viva Finland.

The staff is friendly the pools very clean it is a very quiet place to be with family and this one block from the beach the rooms if they are very small and the cleanliness of them because it is scarce.

Close to the beach, the hotel is in a lush green setting. Air conditioning in the room, Wi-Fi and swimming pool contribute to comfort and relaxation. Plenty of hammocks and lounge chairs available.

I have been using this hotel for over 7 years and am surprised at the negative comments below. This is not the Trump Hotel but a beautiful small hotel with simple but comfortable rooms with mosquito nets. The food is excellent and one could not meet more pleasant people as Stig and his lovely wife Violetta. They are there to make your holiday an enjoyful one. When I am stressed this is where I come!

Its the best place in all of Monterrico! Great Hosts, Stieg and Violetta great rooms, fabulous pool! and excellent food. Make sure you see the world class Art Gallery of Violetta! This lovely garden oasis is only steps away from the beach and is soo relaxing, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the sun and surf.

Beautiful and reasonable hotel near the beach; the shower in our room didn't work great but everything else was perfect.

Peaceful place. Family owned and good for families. 50 meters from the beach walking distance across a road. Very friendly service. One of nicest places in Monterrico and of the few few resorts in here.

When you find it, you find it! That is how me and my family felt when we arrived to Atelie del Mar, at Monterrico´s beach. Why do we have to look for something else? We don´t need to. At Atelie del Mar you will find an excellent service since you get inside. Besides, it is just at some 10 meters from the beautiful sea. The food is great, you should ask for "smorgas", my favourites! The only thing you must remember is to bring some good sunblocker and insect repelent, and every thing will be just fine! Ah! Stij and Violeta are excellent artist, each one in their very own way, and the music is great. So, once you find it, you find it! Greetings!
