Alta Verapaz Hotels

Nice hotel for a descent price! The host is very nice and friendly and the food is good 👍🏽

Alright! I’m giving it 4 stars to the room because it did not have a fan, but service a great, they allowed my Willy Wonka (dog) to the hotel.
They gave me a bigger room because WW is a big dog.

Had a great stay here, Jaime and his family were so welcoming and helpful and the hostel has a great rustic vibe with a good kitchen too!

Perfect for getting off the gringo trail and seeing real Guatamala.

Our stay at Greengo’s Hostel in Semuc Champey was absolutely amazing. It was honestly the highlight of all the hostels we stayed at during our trip!

We had a great time at Greengo’s. The hotel is very beautiful and the people who work there are very nice. We enjoyed all tours and one of our favorites was the chocolate tour.

We had a fantastic and memorable stay here. My small family and I took the Monja Blanca special bus directly from Guatemala City.

Very good place, recommended.

For the area, this about the best you can get. No A/C, fortunately that was not a major issue. The weather cooperated. A bit spread out and old but well maintained. Restaurants were good.

Room was clean, decor was nice. Got a good hot shower. Only issue was the shower height. Hit my head with shower plastic corner couple times.

We had an amazing stay in Lanquin. What stood out the most was the kindness and hospitality of the people who run this place. It is a locally owned hotel, and that is something I truly value.

The hostel is by the river and the atmosphere is super cool and relaxed. They also provide shuttle and tour service and they cook breakfast and dinner for 40-50Q.

The service was very good, the bed was fantastic. The overall decor was very nice. My only complaint was there was a lot of noise, particularly late at night, from the parking lot.

The place was very secure had security guards to tell you where to park.

What an amazing place! Absolutely amazing stay. Amazing service. Thank you Casa Gaia.

Hotel Y Restaurante Casa Gaia is located at the edge of the city of Coban and is extremely well kept and maintained.

It is cabin in the jungle. It very nice, you can see and hear different birds.

Good location, easy to get to in any type of car with the new road. Just a little noise from in the morning from said road.

It's a good place to stay in case you're here visiting Semuc Champey (or for any other reason, really.

Great affordable stay. The room was very clean and water was hot. There is no AC but there are fans to keep you cool.

I stayed here for three nights and this place is such a beautiful and relaxing hotel. I could not have imagined anything better. The rooms are so cute and clean.

Had the best experience at Utopia Eco Hostel. We stayed in a jungle cabin which was great and so well kept given it’s in the middle of the jungle.

Very nice place. Friendly people, good atmosphere, great vegan food!

A review for the staff here!

The staff is very friendly. My check in and check out experience were seemless. The manager (owner? ) explained everything in detail. Everyone was very kind.
