Wyndham Garden Guam

I had a wonderful experience staying at the Wyndham Garden Guam. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and conveniently. I would especially like to recognize Ms. Memoreen Nakamura at the Front Desk for her excellent customer service and for assisting with my room reservation. She was very professional, responsive, and welcoming, making the entire process smooth. Her dedication made my stay even more enjoyable.

The rooms are small but modern. The beds are firm but all around for the price it is a good option on Guam.

Positive: The shower! The staff including housekeeping. All were great! Negative: Lack of storage space and construction noise, but noise is unavoidable at times.

I have stayed here several times. It is very affordable, clean and the customer service is great. They also have an affordable spa in the lobby.
I left my $700 Louis Vuitton belt and it was found and returned. Highly recommend staying here.

Room has small bathroom. Bathroom sink has limited space for toiletries. Split unit HVAC takes a while to cool down room. Excellent service. Staff was accommodating and were able to swith my room to a better one. Location is ideal, only minutes from airport and downtown. Plenty of outlets next to bed to charge electronics while you rest.

I met the worst maintenance worker at Wyndham Garden. I've never been told to be quiet while tryna explain what it is that I requested him for. Everytime I try to proceed with my explanation, he cuts me off and says "I NEED TO SEE IT FIRST TO FIX IT. " Like, SIR, HOW WOULD YOU KNOW WHAT THE HECK YOU'RE LOOKING FOR… HOW WOULD YOU KNOW WHAT THE ISSUE IS WHEN YOU'RE NOT EVEN GIVING ME THE TIME OF DAY TO EXPLAIN! Since the first day I checked in and requested for his service, I noticed this RUDE ATTITUDE he gives, everytime. I'm no scientist, but as far as I know, workers should be more professional and more polite.
Whenever there's a concern that I wanna bring up, I often hesitate to address it, just to avoid getting that negative energy from the maintenance worker. If you ever ask for his service, you would understand what I'm talking about. What type of attitude have I experienced, you ask? Him slamming his ladder around with no respect of the people who are renting the room, aggressively moving furniture, giving loud sighs as if we were suppose to be the ones to fix it or as if we were disturbing him, etc.
All in all, he got the work done, but I wouldn't have came on here to write all this if he was polite and professional.
Wyndham Gardens, pls encourage your employees to practice good hospitality and to be respectful and polite to your guests. Thank you.

I met this worker at Wyndham who is really fun to talk with. The room is decent for the price and most times is cheaper if you just come in and pay in person. Also, if you join their Wyndham rewards, you can earn points to get a free night.
This worker's name is Aimie. Buy her Greek Yogurt plain and Americano Iced black unsweetened when you see her.

The problem I had was the lighting in the bathroom. As a dark skinned woman trying to apply makeup and any other skin care was difficult to see. And I don't understand the LED lights on the mirror. Completely useless. Also the sitting chairs were stained and had hair on them from previous guess. The bed was hard, I don't understand why they don't correct that? So many people complain about that. Me personally didn't have a problem. Great location. Close to restaurant and shops. The hotel attendants were amazing, great customer service and accommodating with certain needs. No breakfast. The laundry and gym was outside in back of the hotel. Small cute pool. I would stay again.

As a first time international solo traveler, this hotel is perfectly situated between multiple convenience stores and a walking distance to Mcdonalds and restaurants. So if I needed something I can just walk over to the right and buy everything I needed to the convenience store, and if I wanted to explore the island I can just walk over to Ypao Beach. The room is very clean, the bed is very comfortable, I have everything I could possible need with a microwave, a table, a small fridge multiple hangers, shower heaters and clean towels. Obviously the island is not a walkable place so you might need to order a taxi service going over to far places and tourist sites but overall I had a really good stay and will surely recommend this to my friends.

My room felt like a military barracks married a prison cell. The walls are cold and blockish. Lighting is like a haunted house. The TV is first generation flat screen… at least 10 years old. The one prison window is small and offset from room center.
If guam had a ghetto (which it really doesnt) this would be it. Within this 2 square block area. A wee bit closer to the water and you're good. But not here.

Room was clean and in good condition. Bed was very comfortable, not too firm, not too soft. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only real complaint was the Wi-Fi internet was basically unusable, there was a Ubiquity AP in the room but the connection was very intermittent and slow when it was connected. Other than that comfortable short term stay.

Overall it was Pleasant and Relaxing we really love the warm toilet seats and the cylinder mirror with lights that is amazing attractive view! very kool inside the Manager Anabelle would always put a smile on to greet and help customers with any issues we have’ we are appreciate her in making us feel comfortable in our stay! Last year we stayed there as well! No complaints With Our Stay. God Bless.

I will start with the positives.
The staff here is absolutely amazing. I have stayed at this hotel for months for work and gotten to know them well.
They have went above and beyond throughout the entire time. Even storing my luggage for me so I didn't have to haul it around until I came back.
Even the maintenance guy is awesome and incredibly friendly. He is also always super fast to respond to anything you might need.
The one and only thing that I can say that would be negative is the beds and honestly that comes down to personal preference.
The beds are definitely on the hard/ firm side.
If you talk to the staff they can get you a mattress topper that helps a bit.
All in all its a good place with great people. I have stayed in a lot of hotels for work and the staff here is anoung the best/ friendliest I have ever come across.

Concrete mattress. A sewer smell emanated from the kitchenette sink. Terrible wireless service. Lots of buffering. Speed test showed < 10mbs download and couldn't register an upload speed at all.

The only positive is the bathrooms. Beds are concrete jail mattresses. Had to put day bed mattress on even sleep. Location is less than desired. Cleaning service doesn't provide additional water, glasses, and doesn't clean properly.

Worst hotel I ever stayed in. My work booked us here, would only recommend for a night if you're flying out. Beds are hard as the floor, recommend sleeping on couch. Location is awful and fitness center is a joke.

The staff are outstanding! Near airport and short drive to many places to eat, shop. Hotel is clean and safe and the room was well kept and spacious.
