Days Inn Guam - Tamuning

After reading reviews I had low expectations. What a positive surprise. Very clean and spacious room. Drinking water dispenser in the reception. Walking distance (26 minutes) to the airport and the beach (20 minutes). Free parking. Highlyrecommended.

My second time here. The first time I came here was in 2017. Based on that experience, I returned.
The room was nice and clean. I noticed that the hotel is undergoing renovation. It is very central and close to the airport, shopping centres, and food outlets.
Regarding cleanliness, especially the bathrooms, I found it to be below my standard. I had to use the shower to wash the floor and clean. I found ladies' hair in the bathroom, so the management needs to address this.
On my second day in the afternoon, I had the scare of my life when the fire alarm went off, which was false. The first night I came back from dinner, there were two police vehicles parked, and they were investigating something.
On my second night, I asked the night staff if they had quarters and detergent for laundry. She said no detergent but had quarters. So I asked a friend to bring me some detergent. When they got it, I went to get quarters. Guess what? I was told she didn't have any. It was frustrating because, in the middle of the night, I had to go to the nearby gas station to get quarters.
I request the hotel to sell laundry detergent at the counter and make washing quarters available always.
All in all, it's a good place but improvements can be made.

This hotel is horrible! Bed has a box for a mattress! Sheets had a few stains! Hot water very effy! Bathroom has mold! Room furniture very old and falling apart! Staff was nice and friendly but not enough to refund me after only an hr of being there! I do not recommend there’s other cheap hotels that are worth it!

Positive: Location Negative: Hotel clerk was not friendly and not interested in making customer more accommodating. I arrived at noon, I know I came early from my trip, I requested if I can check in now, responded none. I waited for two hours in the lobby. She didn’t even try.

The infrastructure of the building has an open building plan with the first floor being the parking lot. You can hear everything echo at night… horrible design. You will need shower shoes for the bathroo and the water pressure is nom existent… the people are nice though.

Positive: The side that we were on had nice sunset views, except for ONE palm tree. Ha ha Negative: The little bugs were a bit pesky and the shower was rather lacking. Water bottles and coffee with additives were never replenished when maid service was requested but there was coffee at the front desk.

Decent hotel for the price since my company was on a budget. The room had a microwave, fridge, and sink. My only problem was the Wi-Fi wasn’t as fast as I was used to. The air conditioning worked great. The front desk worker named Art solved any problem I had.

The price and the experience do not match. This hotel is by far the worst I've stayed in my life. The mold in the bathroom and the nonfunctional Wi-Fi and the rock hard bed make this a terrible choice. Stay away.

This is the WORST place I’ve ever stayed! DO NOT WASTE money here, it’s awful. I took photos upon my arrival but Google won’t allow me to post for some reason. There is mold on the bathroom shower and ceiling, literally poo on the toilet, the bed is nearly a piece of foam on plywood, the sheets are stained, the Wi-Fi is horrible, the floors were dirty and sticky and there was NO hot water whatsoever for a shower, you can hear everyone outside the door talking or walking etc-the doors are paper thin. It’s absolutely disgusting. Run the other way!

Room was filthy. TV didn't work and staff didn't care. The entire building is infested with insects. The bathroom is corroded and moldy. Lots of mold on the ceiling. The toilet isn't even bolted to the floor. Free breakfast is warm cold cuts with stale bread. Location is a slum / crime zone. Room door is broken.

I hate to give such a poor rating as the staff are so kind. First, the bed. It’s as hard as a cardboard. You feel you are made to lay on a piece of wood and they just put a bedsheet over the wood. It’s just so weird why they would have such a hard ”bed”, if you can call it that as I suspect there’s no mattress but a piece of cardboard.
Second, they don’t provide a comforter. All you have is a very thin sheet as “blanket”. I know Guam is located in a tropical zone but the air conditioner everywhere is very strong! In this motel, the air conditioner is strong.
The staff are very kind. I wouldn’t have gotten to the airport safely as I’m terrible at navigating my way, and I left the motel for my flight at 3am. Thank you kind Guamanian staff at the motel who patiently explained the way for me and even drew a map for me.

The staff are kind and helpful but the mattress is as hard as a rock. If you don’t mind sleeping on rock hard beds like the wooden boards people in certain East Asian countries use as beds, you might like this motel. No breakfast but there’s a minimart right opposite the motels also they don’t provide any comforter, only a very thin layer of gauze as blanket. Probably the manager thinks Guam is in the tropics so a comforter is out of place, but he forgot that the AC is blasted to sub zero temperature in the bedrooms.

Wyndom Guam is an excellent place to stay whether your trip is long or short on Guam. Prices are reasonable. Staff are friendly and ready to assist you and your needs while on the island. You're situated in the perfect place, because you're not far from the airport, malls, clinic and best of all the beaches. Make your reservations now and start enjoying that drink and beautiful sunset.

Near the airport was the only good thing! It was late at night when we arrived. Entering our room we were not warned that there was a threshold that was about 2 inches high. It tripped me up and I fell flat on my right knee. Didn’t have a phone in room to call front desk. Husband went down to ask where the ice machine was and to report I had fallen. Lady there told him there aren’t any ice machines and he could walk down the street and buy ice from the gas station. They never asked if I was ok. Pretty poor service to my way of looking at it. And they charged my credit card twice for the room. Stay away from this place if you can.

The Days Inn is located near the airport (that's a plus) but there is NO airport shuttle so your options are to walk or take a taxi (we did both). The taxi services here seem to be all in cash and our ride from the airport was $20 (including a fee for luggage). Going back the next day was a different taxi service and he was just a flat $20 (no meter, just a quote). Some pluses of the hotel is that there is a convenience-type store right across the street but other than that the food options were limited to a Papa John's, McDonald's and Denny's within walking distance. There is a microwave in the room and a small coffee maker with instant coffee. The internet was reliable and fast. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Check out time is noon and because we were flying standby we left for the airport at 5am. We ended up missing our flight and they held our room for us so we were able to return and go back to our room until noon. Some negatives are that the heat seemed to overpower the air conditioner so even on full at the lowest setting we never got cold. To compensate for they only had an extra sheet on the bed instead of a blanket (which did work fine). Overall the room was fine for our overnight stay.

Looks can be deceiving. This hotel is for someone a very small budget, and I do mean small. The room is not up to par. The bathroom is a disaster. They actually have a 10pm curfew, 1 iron for the entire hotel you have to check out. You will have to walk or drive to get something to eat. This hotel is very basic as they come.

The room was clean and the staffs were very kind and supportive. Appreciate Roger and Mitchell's kind work and their warm helping mind a lot!
Room with the balcony is easy to ventilate the air but it might be noisy at night since the driving road is near. But overall.
The experience at the hotel was really good along with the reasonable price and it's location near the airport.
