Reviews of Bayview Hotel Guam
This hotel is in a prime location, just a short walk from restaurants, bars, an ABC Store, and Tagada Amusement Park. The sunset views from the balcony are breathtaking.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness was subpar. On the first day, I killed two roaches, and later another appeared from under the bed while I was relaxing and watching TV.
The most frustrating part of the stay was the barely functioning AC. Even set to the lowest temperature, the room never cooled below 83°. A dehumidifier was present and needed to be emptied multiple times a day, and the buildup inside was pretty gross.
Because of the cleanliness and comfort issues, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which was a highlight of my stay. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room and other areas of the hotel was lacking. There was also a strong odor throughout the building that felt like an old or possibly mold-related smell. On top of that, there was no hot water during my stay. While the service was great, the hotel would benefit greatly from better upkeep and maintenance.

Upon check-in, Ms. Gabby at the front desk was very welcoming and knowledgeable, answering any questions I had regarding my reservation. I booked a Deluxe 2 Queens, and the room itself was well air-conditioned. The beds/blankets, and towels were also very comfortable. There is also a mini-mart in the lobby, along with an ABC store, restaurants and amusement park nearby (walking distance, just a bit further down the hill). Though the hotel is not located in a place that offers an oceanfront view, you are still able to see the bay in the distance. Overall, it is a great option for its value and I will definitely look forward to another stay. ☺️
