Pelopas

We spent a great week at Pelopas Resort. The place is very nice, clean and functioning. Service was efficient and friendly.
We especially liked the fact that it was quiet and that there was not too much reserving of sunbeds with towels. At Pelopas there was always beds available.
Nice little poolbar where you could order drinks and food.
Breakfast was quite basic but good enough.
Some people might not be so happy with the fact that cleaning of the rooms usually starts at about 08.30 in the morning. For us it wasn't a problem as we get up early but people who like to sleep in might be of another opinion.
The location is excellent, very close to a lot of good restaurants and only a short walk from the beach. There's a supermarket right next door.
All in all a very nice stay, we can warmly recommend this hotel.

We stayed in room 210 and had a lovely family holiday. The rooms are spacious and practical. The hotel is very close to the beach, and Tigaki Beach is absolutely beautiful. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, especially the young employees at the restaurant on the ground floor, they are always cheerful and welcoming.
The only downside was the room cleaning. When we first checked in, the kitchen cabinets and utensils were dirty and sticky, and there were hairs on the balcony and floor from the previous guests. We requested extra cleaning, and they took care of it.
One thing that really bothered us was the housekeeping behavior. The housekeeper would knock on the door but immediately enter the room without waiting for a response. We kindly asked several times not to do this, but it kept happening every day. A guest’s room is a private space, and staff should wait for permission before entering.

Hard to find anything to complain about here. Good value for the money, situated in the middle of everything and a nice pool area. Haven't explored the kitchen yet, we eat breakfast bought in supermarkets and the number of restaurants around us is to blame for us not trying the closest one yet. The burgers do look good though.
Update, three things: first, the kitchen IS good.
Second, the Wi-Fi is kind of flaky and when it works, it's slow. If you plan to work from here, you need your own, stable, internet connection.
Third, we missed a "Do not disturb" sign to put out on the door knob. Sometimes you want to skip the room cleaning.

We enjoyed our stay at the Pelopas. The whole experience was very nice. The hotel is very nice and recently renovated. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel has an excellent location as it's located on the main street and close to the beach. The beds are very comfortable.

When we came toilet Flash wasn't working as supposed, fridge door were not closing and we had an issue with stove, everything got fixed by hotel so that is good, but the worst thing was door knoob, not possible to unlock quickly, and door get locked once you close them, very unsafe in case of fire, can't run away quickly you will fight with knob for couple of minutes, also disaster when you have kids, they lock themselves in bedroom and you need some knife or smth flat to unlock door from outside. Other than that all good, lots of restaurants around and walking distance to the beach.

Nice hotel near the sea and shops. Maybe not the biggest selection regarding breakfast, but there is what you need. The staff at breakfast were very nice and had good knowledge of how to handle gluten-free food and made sure that I got my own freshly washed cutting board and knife for the gluten-free bread.

We had the most pleasant stay at the Pelopas. The whole experience was excellent. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and extremely helpful. I would readily recommend this hotel without hesitation. It's perfectly placed on the main street with everything you want within walking distance. We had a 2 roomed apartment, there was ample space in both rooms. The beds were very comfortable, and there was a door onto the balcony. The main room also had a door to the balcony and again was spacious with a small kitchenette that had all the utensils you could need, plus two hobs for cooking, and a microwave and refrigerator. The air-conditioning, which was included in our booking, worked perfectly. The towels and the bedding were changed six times a week. Overall, no complaints whatsoever.

We stayed here for a week with our 3 year old child. The hotel has a good location, in the main street of Tigaki with a short walk to the beach.
We stayed in a two-rooms apartment with balkony facing the backyard of the hotel. The rooms were renovated and in modern design. The facilities were very good, everything you needed in a quite large kitchen. The bathroom was fresh with rainfall shower. The beds were big and comfortable.
Aircondition in both rooms, included in the price and worked very well. We also got a cot for the child on request when ordering the trip.
The people working here were nice and helpful. The pool and the poolarea was clean and always enough sunbeds for everyone. Its a small pool for children as well. You could order food there from the restaurant. The hotel has a quite popular restaurant, with alot of food to choose from. Not traditional greek food though.
Nice and clean toilets in the basement. Our room was nicely cleaned every day exept sunday.
Only bad thing with the room, is that its not soundproof and you can basically hear people breathe in the halway. This can probably be fixed easily with some isolation around the doors and between the doors and the floor.
When we arrived, the room was not ready. But since we were travelling with a small child, we got prioritated and it was ready after 30 min. The others had to wait a couple of hours, and that would have been very unpleasant for us. We were extremly tired when we arrived.

We stayed again at the renewed Pelopas for and it was an amazing experience. Nice and very clean rooms and pool area. The guys in the bar and kitchen are so nice and polite, everybody is helpful with everything. A plus this year the restaurant in the hotel. Some dishes have to be ordered the day before, but in all, the food is nice too. Cocktails, and other drinks is amazing. Thanks Conny, Elena, Aki, Costa, Angela, Maria, Nikos and the cleaning staff. Of course mr, Aris and Christina, Maria we loved it, and definitely we are coming back.

First impressions are of a medium-sized clean, modern hotel on the main 'strip' of Tigaki, but there are a few touches here and there that give it a bit of a family feel. The friendly staff reinforce this. Rooms are clean, in our case with a modest but functional kitchen area. USB sockets beside the bed and in the 'living room' area, so you wont need a charger, just cables.
The pool is compact, but fine for lounging or splashing about with the kids. Location is fine, with a small but well-stocked general store next door and various restaurants and bars in easy reach. Sightseeing trips depart just up the road.
A short stroll takes you to the beach, where a regular bus service departs to Kos town.
Our visit was during a relaxation of the covid lockdown, and it didn't feel packed, so it's hard to report on how busy or noisy the hotel or the town itself may get under more 'normal' circumstances. But even with the Euro cup final taking place, there was no noise nuisance from the street.
The only complaint was the toilet cistern not refilling properly, so we had to lever open the cover and jiggle the stopcock at least once a day. I would not have mentioned this at all if it had been fixed soon after we reported it, but instead the problem was left for us to deal with, with no followup. Not a great hardship, but a blemish an otherwise perfectly fine hotel experience.

Pelopas resort is a great place for an unforgettable holiday! The location is just perfect, Central and only a few steps from the beach. The rooms are suites and spacious! Excellent cleaning and very good price / performance ratio. The pool is very clean and very suggested. An extra large plus goes to the staff. All were very friendly and helpful to us. Mr. ARIS congratulations, we be next summer.

We recommend Pelopas Resort as a place for superb holidays! We stayed for 14 days, 1-15 August and we are looking forward to visit it again. We had a pool view apartment with a spacious balcony. The pool was beautiful, clean (no salt water), in the middle of a a magnificent garden, peace and quiet, comfortable sunbeds. Prices for drinks were very realistic, 0.60 euro for a bottle of water, too. 40 euros for beer and coffee and 4 euros for a coctail, not expensive at all for the resort's facilities. The apartment was very big, two aircos inside, luxurious and fine in all aspects. The location of Pelopas Resort is simply the best, near the beach, restaurants, shops, everything is near! Very hospitable, excellent service, fine cleaning. The resort is beautifully designed, ideal for rest and relaxation, friendly atmosphere, really great. Highly recommendable.

Pelopas Resort in Tigaki-Kos is by far the best place for vacations! We have stayed for 12 days, July 2010, four persons in two apartments, and for sure we will book for Pelopas Resort again. Although the hotel is located just a few meters walking from a beautiful sandy beach, you can relax in the hotels swimming pool which is surrounded by banana trees and colorful flowers. The hotels interior looks like a piece of art, it has an amazing decoration! The apartments are more like suites, very convenient and enormous in space! The hotels personnel was very friendly and service was excellent. We definitely recommend Pelopas Resort for fantastic vacations.
