Hotels in Central Crete with a Pool

Just returned from Maria Rousse studios as a solo last minute trip.
I booked based on the price and the reviews as the majority were excellent!

The hotel was lovely, with an excellent location next to the old town, where there were loads of lovely restaurants. Great swimming pool and friendly staff, particularly Maria.
The room was spacious.

Cute hotel with warm staff and a fantastic pool area.
We would love to come back.
-Great location.
Thanks ☀️

Without doubt the best Hotel we have ever stayed at. From the location to the facilities everything was perfect.

Perfectly located for us. Away from all the party places, yet still in walking distance if we wanted the night life and the huge selection of amazing restaurants. We had a constant view of the sea.

The hotel has been renovated, some of the pictures are showing what it used to be like. It was a beautiful stay. We could use their beach location with sunbeds and towels.

Everything here is as Greece should be. The rooms are newly renovated and very clean, the staff is very helpful and the pool area is really beautiful.

We spent 5 nights here and didn't want to leave! The staff are so lovely and accommodating. The drinks and food are always available and are lovely.

My husband and I hoped for a sunny and comfortable vacation at a pleasant get-away, and that is exactly what we got.

The stay was more than perfect!
The facilities were even better then on the pictures of the web-site and the hospitality of the personnel was very kind and always with a smile 😊!

We just got home from Alexander Beach Hotel yesterday and all I can say is what an amazing experience.

Awesome massage in a cozy environment. My Massage was done by Bristallia, she tried to loosen every muscle possible and also gave me a lot of advises and tips. Very friendly and welcoming.

The room was clean and had all we needed. Always had a great atmosphere too at the bar for pre drinks before going to the strip. All the staff were lovely.

We have had a great stay at Eltina. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Our apartments are fairly basic, but clean and the beds are comfortable. Shower is powerful and hot.

Great family hotel which is run by a big Greek family. Aristora and her sister Maria were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean and our room was cleaned and fresh towels every day.

Aristea and pavlos made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in until departing.
The hotel was good, some of the staff were great and it has a lot of amenities.

The location of these apartments are excellent as you are extremely close to everything yet set in a very quiet area of Malia.

We had such a fantastic stay at Dedalos Hotel in Malia and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

I booked this hotel last minute as I only came to Malia for one night on 27/6/26 Lovely little hotel! My room was spotless! I didn't get a chance to try any food but the staff were great.

We stayed at the hotel for 5 days and were very satisfied. The location was extremely convenient, close to everything – both the old town of Malia and the nightlife street.

Our stay was exceptional. We would like to give special thanks to Danai, Amanda, Zoe and Maria.

Location in the center of Malia not far from the beach.
Room always clean and spacious with jacuzzi.
Top notch, very professional staff who made our stay magical.

Lovely welcome in a great place just off the main road in Malia, apartment was just the right size for two for the week we stayed. Easy walk to the old town, beach road and surrounding area.

The apartment was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Lovely balcony!.
The kitchen missed a few basic utensils.

Great place, great facility! In a great location! Clean, quiet and everything super organized! Very very very tasty food, really great offers in the hotel. No complaints to note!

Overall an amazing stay for me and my friend. The location is great and convenient walking distance to the beach. Extremely friendly staff who made my stay even better and accommodated our needs.

Our stay at Hotel Sella Maria was truly exceptional!
From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed.

A lovely friendly small hotel, short airport transfer, good access to bus stops, shops and restaurants. The staff are a delight and made our stay one of the best experiences we've had in a while.

This is a small family run hotel convenient to the airport and Iraklion city. (Buses run to from airport every 20 minutes, cost €2.10. Hotel arranged transfer €30).

Stayed here June 2026 in a group of 10 and we all had an amazing time. The rooms were clean and spacious with comfy beds and good utilities (fridge, freezer, glasses).

Me and a friend stayed here whilst visiting a friend working in Malia.

We were staying across the road but kindly asked if we could use the pool and bar area.

The rooms are basic nothing fancy, best rooms are the one bedroom apts. They are large.

A decent sized apartment away from the hussle and bussel of the main city, a few restaurants and mini markets less than a 20 minute walk away. The sea is a less than 5 minutes walk.

Very clean apartments with an amazing pool area. Ideal for families given the size of the apartment. Very nice host.

A budget friendly hotel with extremely good service and friendly staff. The rooms are cleaned every day, you get plenty of fresh towels and bedding.

The service was perfect, rooms are cleaned every morning, and towels are changed as well. The host Maria was extremely friendly and helpful with all questions we asked.

The friendliest place I’ve ever stayed. As a single traveller I worry sometimes I might feel lonely, not a chance here! Really recommend this hotel.

Been to this family run hotel loads of times and each time it just get better fantastic atmosphere and the staff can’t do enough for you!
