Central Crete Hotels

Me and my two friends came here for our first girls holiday and it was such a perfect hotel — definetly suitable for both families and friends.

Not too far away from shops and the old town so very ideal. Has a local shop that delivers heavy stuff you buy in there for free. It felt very homely and relaxing.

Excellent location and hospitality!
The hotel is in a great spot, just a 5-minute walk from the beach and around 10–15 minutes from the Old Town.

This is definitely 💯 a brilliant apart — hotel 🏨 so clean, with a small pool and jucuzzi and a large pool beside it. The sun ☀️ lounger is so comfortable. It has garden and pool views.

We came to Crete in August last year for our summer holiday and loved Filia so much that we came back again. In October for my birthday, and May for a half term break.

We loved our stay at Filia Luxury Suites and honestly could not fault it. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional.

Ignore any negative reviews, this hotel is perfect. Staff can't do enough, rooms, pool, communal areas all spotless. Food is amazing and really reasonable.

​After reading some of the reviews, I was a bit worried about what I was going to find, but it's actually a really nice, freshly refurbished place. It feels a bit posh 😅, but the atmosphere is lovely.

I visited the hotel 3 times, in 2023, 2024 and 2025. It's an absolutely lovely place, with a homely atmosphere. The Staff is really helpful, friendly and respectful.

A lovely location. With a restaurant right on the beach. The prefect place to watch the sunset with a glass of wine from the bar, followed by a lovely meal in the restaurant right on the beach.

I can only recommend staying here.
Once you arrive, you feel nothing but welcome. The atmosphere spreaded by the staff and the hotel itself makes you feel good and welcome right away.

This was our third visit to Myrion Beach Resort & Spa and somehow it just keeps getting better. From the moment we arrived, we were reminded why this has become one of our favourite hotels in Greece.

Dimitra was very attentive. Perfect for my first experience with a massage. Very relaxing and the right amount of pressure for me. The place they did the massage was relaxing and quiet.

We stayed at the resort for a week, we lived in the sun village. The distance from the resort is about 300m, from the beach about 500m. The location led through a small road.

I loved it! We had everything we need and I would always go back — highly recommended.

Love the design and very big rooms with sofa and big bathroom.
Location is super good and very calm.
Bed was super comfortable which is always my problem in most off hotels.
And also budget friendly.

At breakfast, manager Roula was absolutely amazing – so kind, attentive, and always making sure everyone was happy. The girls helping her were also fantastic.

Room was spacious, breakfast was really good. Everyone in the staff were really friendly and happy.

Just returned from Maria Rousse studios as a solo last minute trip.
I booked based on the price and the reviews as the majority were excellent!

The hotel was lovely, with an excellent location next to the old town, where there were loads of lovely restaurants. Great swimming pool and friendly staff, particularly Maria.

The hotel has been renovated, some of the pictures are showing what it used to be like. It was a beautiful stay. We could use their beach location with sunbeds and towels.

Everything here is as Greece should be. The rooms are newly renovated and very clean, the staff is very helpful and the pool area is really beautiful.

Without doubt the best Hotel we have ever stayed at. From the location to the facilities everything was perfect.

Perfectly located for us. Away from all the party places, yet still in walking distance if we wanted the night life and the huge selection of amazing restaurants. We had a constant view of the sea.

My husband and I hoped for a sunny and comfortable vacation at a pleasant get-away, and that is exactly what we got.

The hotel was very nice and close to the beach and has swimmingpools inside. However to go to the city center you need a car or bus. The restaurant was very clean and the food was very good.

We stayed for a week at the beginning of September and everything about here was excellent!

We spent 5 nights here and didn't want to leave! The staff are so lovely and accommodating. The drinks and food are always available and are lovely.

Excellent family run appartments. Would find it hard to beat. Kids love the pool. Rooms good and spotless. 1 minute from beach Great restaurants all round for all tastes and budgets.

This place is fantastic right dead centre of stalis clean and very friendly and welcoming yanis and his staff are brilliant would definitely recommend this place if you want to have a good holiday

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Malia, Crete. For a week in the middle of the season, the price was more than fair and truly great value for money.

I went there at the start of October, which is right about when the season ends so it was very nice and quiet.

We just got home from Alexander Beach Hotel yesterday and all I can say is what an amazing experience.

Awesome massage in a cozy environment. My Massage was done by Bristallia, she tried to loosen every muscle possible and also gave me a lot of advises and tips. Very friendly and welcoming.

The hotel is really really lovely. Rooms are great and beds super comfy. Breakfasts are exceptional.

This is the first Hotel we honestly consider coming back to next year! We travelled with our 4 year old daughter and the short trip from the airport to the hotel is a big plus.

Booked via tui a last minute break. Read the reviews after! Did slightly panic thinking I'd be the oldest guest there.

A nice place, good, clean, budget hotel, but all the 5* reviews, not in my book.
I was OK as I knew you had to pay for extras-internet, 10 €/week is OK, other charges — AC, safe, late check out, etc.

Rooms are excellent in size, big and airy, that are kept clean by housekeeping lady and my towels were changed daily, and clean bedding 3 times during the seven nights I stayed.

We would like to thank Vasso, Lefteris and all of their wonderful staff for making our stay perfect.
Rooms are very well maintained all garden and pool area very clean and well maintained.

The location of these apartments are excellent as you are extremely close to everything yet set in a very quiet area of Malia.
