Clean, buffet breakfast with wide choice.
It has a rooftop from which you can admire a beautiful view of the Acropolis.

Hotel staff are incredibly helpful! And the night view of the Acropolis from the rooftop patio (with bar) is fantastic. Location is perfect in the middle of the Plaka area — fabulous access to so much!

The Plaka Hotel is ideal for a visit to Athens. Perfect location within walking distance to the Acropolis and related landmarks, Plaka Stairs, and plenty of shopping and restaurants/bars. The Parthenon-view rooms are wonderful!

Ideal location m. L elevator is so overloaded that it must be considered that one cannot use it.

Very nice hotel.

I stayed 4 nights in this hotel and could not be happier as a solo traveler. Great location lots of bars restaurants and walking distance to the main attractions. The staff were amazing from check in to check out. The breakfast spread was amazing and the lovely woman at breakfast always asking what your plans are for the day and any help you needed. The roof top bar and view just topped it off. A bag of laundry was only 9 Euro which was amazing also so forget about washing your Small’s in your room folks! Thank You for a great stay.

Staff super friendly, helpful, can a lot on Athens, they speaks a lot of different languages. The breakfast buffet is gigantic. The staff is super professional, willing to help, friendly. The view from the rooms/terrace is breathtaking.

The rooms are very comfortable, staff are very helpful, breakfast has a great mixture of hot and cold, cereals and cakes. We love the location on the edge of Plaka it's so easy to walk everywhere. This is our third visit and we will be coming back.

Great service, clean large rooms with great views of the Acropolis hill. As described above, the rooftop terrace is just great. A better view at night is rarely found on Athens and all around it.

Very good location. Centrally located. Countless restaurants within walking distance in 2 minutes. Very nice view from the rooftop terrace to the north side of the Acropolis and the Parthenon.
The rooms are large enough and modern. FlatTV. German-language programs. Breakfast is good and needs to hide behind a 4 star hotel.

Excellent hotel, great location, very good attention from the staff always available, full breakfast and varied. Has a storage for storing the luggage for the people who make tours. I will come back soon.

Just got back from Athens and the Hotel Plaka it is a safe, clean, central location and spectacular views of the Acropolis

The breakfast was great. The room had a nice view of the Parthenon, however it smelled like cigarettes. The staff was very friendly. You can go on the rooftop to take great shoots. The elevator is very small. Unless you are very tired, use the stairs.

Good hotel is conveniently located, although it is industrial the breakfast is delicious.
The staff are nice, and the cocktails are delicious. I recommend the pina Colada cocktail "Just a Dream"! The person who prepares them is very nice.

It is strategically located in the centre of Athens. Comfortable and with a beautiful view of the Parthenon from the terrace-bar.

Great location and Super Hotel.

What a view! The room was modern, with great and helpful staff to answer our many queries of directions to trains and sights. If you go to the top floor, to the rooftop bar, you have an amazing view of the city and the Acropolis of Athens. It would have to be the highest building around, as you can just see everything, which makes the Hotel all the more better! It's also a short walk to a train station, which you can use to connect to a second line and get to the port for ferries to Santorini, so location is also good.

Very good location in the tourist areas. Almost everything is at max 15 minutes on foot. The rooms are clean but a little antiquated for my taste. Staff speak good English and very kind.

A hotel centrinco with a breakfast that is pretty decent. The rooftop is a good place to take photos and take something. In winter this well but it's cold to be on the terrace.

Great service and excellent location! Rooms are basic, but what you would expect for 3 star. Breakfast buffet is varied and tasty. Free tea and coffee are always available from the bar (not in your room). The lift is small and the building is not wheelchair friendly in general. I would stay again though would prefer a room further from the road next time, because the Greek seem to use their car horns freely at all times of day and night… Recommend for location and friendly service.

We paid for a room with a balcony and city view. What we got was a small area outside the room window with two AC pumps going full speed, shaking the room floor! There is no room of course for a chair or a table in the balcony. (I attached the picture of one of the pumps in the balcony for scale, the other one is on the other side. ) The "city view" is just impressive. The receptionist did come to the room and observed the situation. His recommendation was that we turn the ac off (but noted the next door also needs to turn their ac off as well for the noise to stop). Of course they could not change our room. Definitely not recommended.

Love this hotel. Superb location, superb service and it's a hotel which thinks about its guests. I've booked it twice and will return when in Athens.

Staff were friendly, helped us get an idea of where we are after a long flight. A small little claustrophobic elevator took us and our luggage to our room. Room was fairly basic, but of course you don't go to Athens to spend time in the room. Good rooftop bar and view, and breakfast was pretty good.

Very good location. Equipment has come a little over the years. From the rooftop terrace you have a magnificent view of the Acropolis.

Friendly and helpful front staff. The location is in the heart of Plaka with so many restaurants and shops steps away. The Acropolis is only a15 minute walk. The rooftop patio offers an unobstructed views of the Acropolis, especially at night. The room was very clean and modern.

Excellent location in the Plaka neighborhood. We headed a different direction each night for dinner and were able to see new parts of the neighborhood. Right near all the major historic sites so they're within walking distance. Roof top area to relax and grab a drink if you like. Friendly helpful staff! Great price point for the rooms; can't knock any points off for that.

Nice breakfast during which there is a lady of the hotel who speaks 6 languages and offers you advice on places to visit. On the terrace panoramic view of the Acropolis. At 5pm they offer you coffee and chocolate with biscuits.

Excellent location just below the Acropli and 3 minutes from the subway. Very helpful and courteous staff, some speak Italian. Breakfast buffet included.

Hotel Nefeli is very well located, just 100 meters from the street that go to the Acropolis Museum. It is also only 200 meters from the end of the bus X95 coming from the airport, up to the Syntagma Square. Breakfast is sufficient and the hotel has the conditions according with the tariff paid.

Such a nice little family-owned hotel. The accommodations are extremely affordable and clean. We just stayed for one quick night, but if you were spending a few days in Athens, this isn't a bad spot for experiencing the city. The location is right in the center of Plaka, which is perfect for shopping, nightlife and restaurants, as well as visiting major sites like the Acropolis—it's all within walking distance! :) The breakfast in the morning was great! Yogurt, fruit, pastries, coffee, juice, toast, hard-boiled egg—everything you need for a hearty start to your Athens adventure. I would definitely stay here again, if I ever return to Athens.

I love Plaka it is a magical place and I will never forget it.

We stayed 7 nights in this hotel and we had a wonderful time. Our recently renovated room was comfortable and clean and the beds were fine. Most of the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. A few days there was a man at the reception desk who was not so communicative and I can imagine if he was the first one to meet in this hotel, I wouldn't recommend this hotel for its hospitality, but fortunately we were welcomed by Michael, the best staff a hotel could ever get! The location of the hotel is great, is is just a short walk to get to the main attractions of Athens. I felt safe in the neighbourhood of the hotel, also at night. Also don't forget to make use of the rooftop, where you can sit and relax with magnificent view on the Acropolis. You have to pay for Wi-Fi, but you can get free coffee and tea during the day. You can also go to one of the many cafees and get free Wi-Fi there, but then you have to pay for your coffee. This is a hotel I would definately recommend.

The price was fine, the location was fantastic and the rooftop view of the acropolis is great! BUT the rooms are at least 20 years old including the mattresses.
