This is our favourite hotel in Accra. Linda & Agnes on Front desk are super friendly, very professional & will do anything to make your stay special. Johnathan the head Chef will prepare any food for you… the buffet has such a variety & is great quality & very tasty! Nothing is too much for Johnathan… my kids aren’t great fans of buffets but he always caters for them. All the staff are very attentive from bar staff, concierge to lifeguards. They offer great overnight stay packages too! The swimming pool is really big & nice & clean. It is our families favourite getaway. Would definitely recommend… totally worth the 5 stars ⭐️

Fabulous food, good location and tastefully done up hotel.

There is no visible leadership in this hotel. In general, the staff are very polite and helpful but be aware if someone says 2 minutes, expect to wait 20. I'm trying to run a conference here and nobody seems to know what's going on, which room I should be in or who is responsible for what. Such a shame really, because I honestly believe the staff are good, but they could be excellent if only there was some form of strong visible leadership. I will try not to return.

Nice place to spend your weekend. Cozy environment, clean world class rooms and good breakfast options. I just didn't like the way the security at the entrance has to look in your bag before you enter. Found that quite intrusive. Because of this I gave them 3 stars.

I had a wonderful time at the pool whilst having breakfast. It was so quite and beautiful and serene. The waiter by the name Michael Bentil was so kind, and respectful. He made sure I had all that I needed. Thank you so much Michael Bentil… you made my stay enjoyable.

The burgers are too big, I could barely take a bite. The bottom of the burgers of the are too soggy. You guys should stop it.

Service and breakfast buffet was on point. Chef is always ready to prepare a special stir fried noodles at your request. Try it, you will love it. Kempinski deserves every single 5 stars.

Philip in housekeeping, Moses in security, Joshua in restaurant, Jacob in food/room services, Daniel in Food services, Richard as concierge are just a few of the individuals that provided superior service. Great attitudes with smiles on their faces. Highly recommend.

Kempinski Ambassador Hotel is a five star hotel in Ghana. It can be located at the centre of Accra, Ghana's capital. It is usually the preferred place for the well to do class. Many people prefer this place for conference and other seminars, especially international events due to the fact that security there is intact.

Fantastic Place. I was so impressed with the architecture of their buildings and the interior decor. I was there for a program and will gladly return. The food was also nice I recommend to anyone who wants a nice place to stay.

First off, this is a lavish hotel and I believe it's guests should be treated fairly. I visited the Kempinski hotel and had an awful experience at the poolside restaurant. I ordered food for my table as normal and it came out in true Ghanaian timing. That was fine as I expected that. However, my table was ready to leave and the waiter, Michael was nowhere to be found. 15 minutes after waiting for him, I signaled him over to ask for the check, he acknowledged my request yet he never arrived. Instead, when a table full of white foreigners sat down at a table, they were the first people he served after we had waited for him for over 30 minutes. While I am a foreigner, I visited with a local and can't help but think Kempenski favors white people and discriminates against the locals. I was there with a local.

Luxurious hotel rooms with a fully equipment state of the arts gym, swimming pool, spacious and highly secured car park and environs. They have a well serviced restaurant and bar. Great view of Accra. Perfect for that in-town get away. 20-mins drive to the airport and 24-mins drive to the Accra shopping mall. Located in a serene but business hub of Accra and close to Accra central district. Convenience at a glance.

L love kempinski my room was 303 Mangal.

My lunch at Kempinski Gold Cost City at the buffet was a Marvel Wow. From the entrance to the dessert it was an extraordinary culinary journey. My favorite was their thousand sheets a pure delight. Take a tour you won't regret your choice.

It's just a wow wow wow… I must confess a good product really advertises itself … indded the only 5 hotel in Ghana… Professionalism, genuine smile… If u really want the value for hour money try their food… Finger licking… Thank u Gabby… Keep it up!

The food was good and a good variety of African cuisine. The pool bar is top notch. Only thing I did not like is this so called one drink per person for Sunday brunch buffet. With the price I pay limited drinks like apple juice should come with unlimited refils. The desert bar and fruit salad was delicious. Now the oxtails needs more cooking. The meat was too hard to eat. Their lamb soup is the best I ever had. Overall this is a must place to go. I really enjoy the food today.

It's a Kempinski what can you say everything works. Pool is great gym is great restaurants are good. Room was quiet and clean bed was comfortable. Service was exceptional price was reasonable. Next time I'm in a Accra I I will definitely be staying here.

Upscale hotel. Posh and refined in all aspects. Big, well lit lobby with lots of seating areas. Rooms overlook a roof top garden and swimming pool, with water from the pool flowing over the edge into a giant waterfall to the ground floor below. Accommodation is expensive depending on the client. About $700 a night minimum. Mid sized event hall with stage for conferences, parties and other functions. Was used to host the Accra Auto Show 2017. Separate parking block for cars. Security screening at main entrance and scanning at entry to lobby.

Indeed, it is a luxury hotel. But its cost (like everything in ACCRA) is above what it's worth.

I still did not recover from my stay there Oh My God The first amazing experience I have in the whole Africa. I was totally speechless I felt really at home With wonderful staff from front office to housekeeper. Thank you to Ahmed the front office manager and the adorable Jennifer the Lady in Red … Solomon at the gallery bar is just the best. Great team.

Lovely place. Front desk is on point… Especially The lady in red. With glasses I forgotten her name… she is just one of the Best from the front office… the pool at the 3rd floor is just beautiful… Food is indeed an European luxury… Thank you guys for this amazing experience.

The tree lighting on the 3rd of December was very amazing. There was a lot of people in attendance and the whole ceremony with the lighting, decor, music and most of all food was exceptional. The employees were very attentive and service was top notch. I have experiment other hotels in Accra with similar ratings but nothing compares to what Kempinski has. The entire management were involved and they interacted and hosted the event which made us feel they really cared about us. Thank you Kempinski for this fantastic experience. See you next year.

Second stay at the Kempinski and all I and my wife can say is we will always have great recall of our stay. Staff members were helpful at all times with genuine smiles. Service was absolutely outstanding. Great Xmas Tree ceremony and a joy to listen to the Choir.

Classy, beautiful and modern. Spacious rooms with style and elegance. Strategically located in the center of Accra, formally known as the Ridge race course. Closest to the government ministries and taking advantage of it. It has a presidential suit which is for top class of society. That obviously doesn't need advertising just a mention. Cleanliness and order is not compromise here. Customer service is high on their values and a little downplay on the side of workers can be very detrimental to their jobs.

Kempinski Accra is one of the best hotels I have ever been in Africa. We have enjoyed the warmth of Kempinski, it’s great food, and the wonderful events. It is the place to be seen in Accra, and the place where one can spend an evening, several days, or weeks—simply be yourself and enjoy yourself with the Kempinski hospitality. It’s the home away from home.

A beautiful hotel with a deco to fall. The service is pretty good with a half-bilingual staff. In addition to a restaurant and superb rooms.

Luxury Hotel in Accra in an exclusive area and with all kinds of services.

As far as Accra goes this is a top notch place. Would get good reviews anywhere as well. Expect a nice and clean room. On point room service and restaurants. It is located in a good part of town being a short drive to most of the big locations in the city.

If there were more stars I will give. Loved everything about the place. From the security systems, restaurant and conference facilities are up to the international standard. Wash rooms very clean and well maintained. The restaurant staff should learn how to smile and try to excuse guest before clearing the table because some of us are slow starters during lunch and dinner. By and large, Kempinski Hotel is the best among the best.

Ideal for your events, a weekend getaway with the family, they have a very neat pool and swimming area. And very beautiful place to capture memories. It’s just a magical place to be.

Fantastic garden for dinner and lovely food. You can choose from a great selection of exquisite foods. The staff delivered the most beautiful song to one of our friends who had his birthday during our dinner in the garden there. Haven't stayed over though.

My first day was good at the conference hall with MOBEX 17 team. Good breakfast break. Second day was waoooo at the restaurant. Lunch was superb. Your restaurant manager Stephen sukah is the best restaurant manager I have seen traveling around the world.
But your waitress and waiters don't smile at customers why?
They seems to be too busy walking to and fro without giving customers attention why?
A waiter took away my drink without asking if am done when I was going for dessert. Oooo
More room for improvement guys…

Stayed here for three nights on my first visit to Ghana for business. Hotel is stunning and is what you would expect from a luxury hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. There are plenty of staff on hand and you always feel safe. Room service and house keeping are prompt. Pool and gym are in a scenic setting and the restaurant offers a fantastic variety of food — buffet style with a small alternative menu. We used the hotel transfer which was fast and convenient and the driver was very polite and helpful. Very minor downsides (and I'm being picky) : TV had a small number of channels, free internet was a little slow for general browsing and food service at the bar was also a little slow. Overall though I would recommend the hotel to all travelers.

I recently organized a business meeting at the Kempinski. This was a unique situation as I am located in the US and relied exclusively on the Kempinski Events Planning Team to make sure things went smoothly both before and during the meeting. I was not disappointed. Daryl and Frank on the Events Planning Team were attentive and solicitous and together we had a most hitch free and successful event. Our working group members were most impressed by the service and the facilities. I recommend the Kempinski highly.

The staff and service are exceptional. The food in the executive lounge is delicious. Philip our waiter in the executive lounge is extremely attentive and very eager to assist. The rooms are huge and the beds are so comfortable. Definitely a 5 star experience! One of my favourite hotels in the world.

Great hotel with all the amenities and dining options one could hope for. Breakfast spread every morning is incredible, and the Wi-Fi is smoking fast (which is hard to find in Accra). The staff is incredibly friendly, the rooms are spacious and have great balconies.

Good place where u can feel like home Good food with a nice pool side to relax. A bar where you ll be entertained with life music being sang by a beautiful lady right at the corner. Nice cocktails and you ll enjoy it.

It's a wonderful place to visit. The buffet is great. Went there on many occasions especially with my family and we enjoyed every piece of the place.

I first visited this hotel in 2016 and had an excellent take of the place but at the time I wasn't a guest. July 2017 I was and my impression of the hotel has vastly changed. I arrived at the hotel and my room wasn't ready until 3 hours after arrival. I did not receive any kind of compensation for this. Restaurant staff were cold, distant and seen quite unhappy to serve. Service in The Gallery Lounge was problematic in that it didn't accept foreign credit cards which is shocking for a hotel of such global standards. I was quite displeased and disappointed. The ray of light in all of this is Gallery 1957, an art gallery that operates within the hotel's premises. It undoubtedly showcases the best of contemporary visual art talent out of Ghana and I dare say West Africa. The hotel's art collection overall seen on several floors was also quite pleasing to the eye. Usually hotel's carry anodyne, random craft pieces but at Kempinski, works on the walls are exquisite, accomplished works of visual art.

In the main hotel there's a nice art gallery. It's a bit small though and the visit was over in minutes. The bar unfortunately had only one kind of wine on offer at the time of visiting which is strange for a hotel of its calibre. But the hotel was quiet which was nice. Security personnel and other staff members who can be found around the hotel compound didn't seem to know the layout well though. I went to an event there 3 days later in the ballroom. The chicken dish was dry. But the hotel is beautifully designed.

Great ambiance, neat and beautiful hotel. Went there to celebrate a friend's birthday. We had difficulty getting a table for four, because most were reserved and kept moving from one place to other. Finally we had one but decided to move, because we weren't comfortable, with the help of a waiter we were moved to another table. But unfortunately we were rudely confronted by one lady, Who we later got to know was a hostess. She just tapped me on my shoulder, just at the buffet while I was dishing out my food, saying *madam why did you change your table? You are making my work difficult by moving from one table to another*. Asking us to move back to the former table. Seriously? But another friend politely said no. From my point I believe it would have been better if she had come to talk to us after we settled. I wasn't happy so asked to speak to the restaurant manager, he apologised, calmed us, and offered the birthday lady a cake and a beautiful performance. Lost appetite though. Considering the high cost of charges, no other guest should experience this.

Rooms are fantastic. Food is ok and expensive. I wish that the hotels would stop taking advantage of visitors but charging so much for food and drinks. The restaurant is a joke. Its a rip off and the food is sub par. And please tell the chef I know the difference between rocket and lettuce. It is however s great hotel so if u don't mind been ripped off 4 stars if not 2 stars.

First impression about the hotel — nice! Clean and tidy. However it took me about 3 hours to get the room. Reception is very slow. Missing on the time. Especially that after 8 hours of flight you expect everything to be ready. Other than that it is clean and beautiful.
