The hostel is ideal for city breaks as it is only 10 minutes from the city centre. The rooms are simple, but ok. Showers and toilet are not in the room. The breakfast was ok, but nothing more. Staff is very helpful.

Everything is perfect but the Wi-Fi router needs to be better changed.

Loose atmosphere, very good staff. Food was delicious. On Sunday morning, the coffee went out and the kitchen closed on time.

Food: Top to mixed — but there is something for everyone. The coffee is top.
Staff: Depending on who you meet, competent, extremely friendly and helpful, up to and including helpless and overwhelmed. Overall, though, good.
Room: All right. 6 rooms, beds quite short and hard, bed linen acceptable.
Bad/WC: Not acceptable. With 25 students, only two showers for the girls and two for the boys, which also house the toilets, is too little. In addition, teachers share the few showers and toilets with the students. This is out of date!
This is also one of the exclusion criteria. On top of that, you absolutely don't take it exactly with rest. If you know that, it's okay. But if you are the Depp who puts his kids in the beds at the agreed night of sleep, and then you are stopped from sleeping by the get-cloth, shouting and croolter on the corridors and on the farm, you stand in front of the class quite stupid already. This is annoying and leads to conflict.
Third exclusion criterion: Repair. We had a clogged toilet. The kids reported this well, but nothing happened. Since there are quite a few toilets anyway, I have repaired them myself.
Overall, a tidy, friendly house, but on one or the other screw, something still needs to be readjusted before I come back.

Spacious rooms, good sanitary rooms on all level, delicious meals, nice staff. Perfect as accommodation even for larger groups. For children, there is also a sports field nearby.

All bad. Toilets dirty (including insects), eating absolutely inferior. No recommendation.

Many Key Cards don't work but otherwise everything top especially the Food.

I was on a school trip with my class and I noticed a few negative things.
Positive: Nice staff a lot of room to play OK been: The renovation negative: a shower was cold and a too hot our window was broken the food was not so appetizing the sheets were usable but a little too big.

There was an excursion with kids when we were there.

In the room of me and my girlfriends the curtains were torn down. In our hallway there were white tarpaulins in front of the walls where something seemed to be built.

It is a nice hostel.
The rooms, shower, bathroom, toilet, dining area, reception and common room have been very clean and well maintained. The staff is helpful and nice. Fair price.

Well, just a youth hostel. For one night stay okay … The food was surprisingly good, especially the dessert what super. In the morning there was milk diluted with water … disgusting. The beds are ok, too.

The youth hostel has a good location, close to Lübeck's city centre. You don't walk long. The décor of the rooms, is simple, but adequate and clean. The toilets — and shower rooms in the hallway were also cleaned daily.
The dinner alone did not convince as it was not seasoned and was without taste overall. However, there was a fresh green salad to go with it.

The rooms were beautifully spacious and there was a closet for everyone. Only the mirrors in the room were a problem for larger people, as they were sloped off, and you couldn't see each other:) The food was top! Nothing to complain about. Even the atmosphere at the bottom at dinner was very cozy. You could park well on the premises by car. Only the closing time of midnight is a little in short supply during a Christmas market visit and evening stroll. The location is very good, as you can get to the old town in a short time.

Wi-Fi unfortunately only available in the front area foyer or small breakfast room.

Great location overall. Very friendly and helpful staff, plenty space in — and outside to relax. You can borrow a key at the front desk to get back in anytime. Wi-Fi is free but only available near the entrance. 5 minute walking distance to the historic city center. Snacks and drinks are available in the lobby. A very healthy breakfast selection is always included, and several decent restaurants are located within walking distance. Easily accessible by car with plenty of parking opportunities. Otherwise, common youth hostel standards apply: if you can't stand teenagers being teenagers or expect to be serviced in every regard, it's not for you. It's simple and functional, exactly what it needs to be. Better Wi-Fi reception and power outlets near the beds would be nice to have but are no major issues.

Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Simple but what I wanted from a youth hostel.

Very good hostel, not always at the top level storage and hygiene but nothing maddening. Well located in Lübeck. The breakfast is included and is quite satisfactory.

The rooms are clean but the bathrooms are not the cleanest just dirty but not gross. There is a washer and dryer for use and Wi-Fi in the main dining room. Breakfast is provided as well.

It was quite alright with dinner and many places are easy to reach, such as restaurants and many shops :)

Single Travellers, September 2014 I'm still time to Lubeck, this would be the DJH be my last choice. The rooms are fully up to the stop. Many Craftsmen (Commuters). Here, too, the situation is far from Done. To the city centre, it is a good footpath (from the Bicycle I advise, Lübeck is far away).
