The hotel is in a great location in the city center in Weimar. In addition, the Park on the Ilm is right around the corner. We booked a boutique double room and took our dog with us. Unfortunately, there was no parking space available to us at the hotel when we arrived; according to the reception, we would have had to reserve this in advance. However, this was not mentioned when booking, so of course we didn't know this. Unfortunately, we had to pay to park in a public parking lot. Too bad. The room was on the ground floor of the hotel in an annex building to the reception/breakfast room. Unfortunately there was a strong draft through the front door. The room was modernly furnished and large enough. Room service only takes place daily upon express request; the hotel usually only offers it every 2 days. Since we had our dog with us, I was (at least) around.
Daily vacuuming requested. After asking at the reception, this was promised after I justified it, but not thoroughly… Unfortunately, the cleanliness was not to my liking. If you agree to stay with pets, everything must be cleaned more intensively. Of course our dog is not allowed to go to bed or anything similar, but unfortunately it cannot be avoided that he loses hair. If you don't clean properly, you won't feel comfortable after a while.
The breakfast was OK. Unfortunately, there were no lactose-free alternatives or milk substitutes. Some of the rolls were so hard that you couldn't eat them.
➜ The hotel is well located and looks decent both from the outside and inside. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent price-performance ratio. Even with a late check-in there were no problems thanks to a machine. The room was clean and the staff friendly.
