We had two stop-overs, on this years Christmas return trip to Poland to see the in-laws. We have used Amalienhof in the past and decided that, due to it's closeness to the Christmas Markets, we'd use again.
We were not disappointed, as the Hotel offers some sumptuous rooms, attentive staff and a decent breakfast. There is so much to see and do in and around Weimar and Amalienhof is a brilliant base to work from. Galleries, museums a large range of restaurants and walks in the parks are all within easy reach.
Thank you guys and we will be recommending and returning to stay for subsequent trips to the area.
I've stayed here on multiple occasions this year for business. The staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. Rooms are cozy, the location is very practical and the breakfast buffet is delicious and prepared with care. Simply a lovely hotel.

Very comfortable, cozy room with a high ceiling and view over the Wielandplatz. Great location — you can walk to everything. Friendly staff, tasty breakfast in an attractive room… Tea and coffee available all day. We were very, very happy here.
