Beautiful big rooms, super clean. In the main building there is a salt water pool, saunas (foc) and you can book message and cosmetic appointments. Breakfast is delicious. Everything you need.

Nice hotel. Quiet rooms. Centrally located. The food was also very good. The Bauernschnitzel was excellent. Breakfast was also very good.

We visited the Göbel's Sophien Hotel shortly before Christmas. The room was modern and clean, staff was oustandingly friendly and helpful, and the Breakfast and Dinner were delicious.

Last week we (two sisters) stayed at the hotel for one night, while walking the Rennsteig.
The room was quiet and spacey, the meal and breakfast delicious (lots of choices).

Great service; very accommodating staff in front desk and restaurant. All our requests were greeted with a smile. The entire hotel is slightly dated, but absolutely fine.

Perfect place for family trip. Beautiful surroundings, super nice Personel. Kitchen with homemade food. All benefits! We will definitely be back! ;)

Highly recommended. Slightly outside the city but with a nice unobstructed view. Lots of space, free parking, very clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, bathtubs in rooms (at least in ours).

This is a typical Ahorn Family Hotel.

Anyone who ever wanted to stay in a castle, will adore the setting of this spectacular area and lovely hotel. The common rooms and restaurant are classically furnished with spectacular views.

Hotel auf der Wartburg is really a special place. The old-world style and location right next to the Wartburg castle make this hotel something out of the ordinary.
